Trump and his supporters will start thinking of the repercussions of their actions right about....now. Not thinking things through tends to be a side effect of emotional policy making.

Donald J. Trump, television personality, rabble rouser and hero to losers, really knows how to Make America Great. Again!™

Now, I don't know about UK and Israeli laws, but I say, let Donald J. Trump come in and sing. It is important for Brits and Israelis to see how low the Republican party is.

4 ( +9 / -5 )

Left- and right-wing Israeli politicians, as well as Israeli Arab lawmakers, condemned Trump’s remarks and said he should be barred from visiting. Omer Bar-Lev of the main center-left opposition party, the Zionist Union, took to Twitter to call Trump a “racist.”

So, like the Brits, the Israelis "get it".

The Zionist Union, took to Twitter to call Trump a “racist.”

Strange contrast with the rabid bigots Donald J. Trump, American television personality, has scraped out from under their white sheets in the States.

Stranger still, what did Donald J. Trump, American television personality, imagine would happen when he began his strident shrieks for a return to racism and prejudice as a way to reignite America's lost "Greatness" back in June?

Obviously Donald J. Trump's Messiah Complex isn't attached to his brain, because he's really smart, just ask him. More clearly, Donald J. Trump doesn't need the aid of a brain and apparently neither do his fans.

Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said he disagreed with the proposed ban but voiced support for Trump, saying the proposal was meant to gain political mileage.

“I don’t think he means it. He has many Muslim friends. He has investments in Muslim countries. And at the same time he has only put this out of context just to gain some more votes,” he said.

Another person who gets it, and not riding the Dem/Rep rubberneck merry-go-round.

And BTW, why the Israeli's? AIPAC can't match Trumps money and can't buy him off like most of the Dems/Reps, that's why.

What the terrorists did in San Bernardino was abominable, a despicable act that needs even more investigation to understand better in the hopes something similar can be prevented in future. The couple were human monsters. I know there are more like them representing an array of extremist views. They live among peace loving people everywhere.

As much as I worry about Islamic and other ideological terrorists, which I know are real and out there in all populations, the reactions of the vigilante mobs after San Bernardino are - to me - scarier. Mobs of angry people with military grade weapons are now ready to take action, even against their own police. That US politicians and political candidates like Trump are further riling the mobs with messages of hatred and fear makes a potentially explosive situation even more volatile.

Trump has shown that sensible people throughout the world see him for what he is, a frightening demagogue. I hope those who continue to support him can be marginalized, but I know the hard of thinking have always been with us. I hope the next time a terrorist commits an atrocity that people will not overreact and saner heads will prevail. If not, even more lives will be put at risk.

Trump defended his proposal on Tuesday, comparing his plan to ban Muslims to the U.S. government’s World War Two detainment of Japanese-Americans. - article

What many around the world see isn't a ham handed grab for the bottom of the barrel. What Donald J. Trump, American television personality is clearly proposing is detainment camps have been used before. Their illegal use under President Franklin Roosevelt then provides the justification and necessity of internment camps today.

Worst still the article provides a further condemnation of Donald J. Trump, American television personality.

A former Trump business partner in Dubai, construction billionaire Khalaf al-Habtoor, said Trump had wrecked his prospects for successful future collaborations in the region.

“He is really creating war. He’s creating hatred between Muslims and Christians,”

Still, we read here of many who see Donald J. Trump, American television personality, as their Messiah. As other concerned posters have observed, there are many, well armed, insufficiently self controlled and irrational bigots who are cheering loudly and often every utterance of their dangerous and prejudiced leader, Donald J. Trump.

Donald J. Trump, American television personality, may say as he wishes but not without consequence. Making America great again isn't the likely outcome. As construction billionaire Khalaf al-Habtoor points out, Donald J. Trump is reckless and self absorbed enough to prompt reckless action that he himself promotes,

There is nothing of any good promise for Americans in his continued attacks on race, religion, media and Government. Donald J. Trump is stalking a frightened mob, a mob with military weapons and a mob without conscience. That is why they follow the same characteristics they see in their Messiah Donald J. Trump.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I hope the next time a terrorist commits an atrocity that people will not overreact and saner heads will prevail.

Saner heads are prevailing. Only just over 10% of Americans who vote dig Trump's vulgar and explicit bigotry. That's a little lower than I would've thought. You see, most American white supremacists and nativists prefer their bigotry served in the back room, if you see what I mean.

Anyways, say what you will of W and his team (and I'd probably thumbs up most of it with enthusiasm) but they understood such crass stupidity for what it is. And made a strong point of not doing it. They may have been racist, but they were not ugly -- and stupid -- bigots.

There is nothing of any good promise for Americans in his continued attacks on race, religion, media and Government.

I disagree. Trump is standing on a platform, a big ol' heap, of hate, stupidity and anger that movement conservatives and the Republican party built. And he is blowing it all to hell.

Which is awesome. We get the White House for one. Two, we get all the down ticket offices: very important. Three, we may even get the demise of the GOP as we know it. Which is, I can't tell you, what America has needed since 1968.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Just 250 thousand! That's nothing considering the UK has a population of almost 70 million. Now we should do another petition to see how many British would welcome Trump into the UK! it would definitely reach more than a measly 250 thousand!

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

Middle east homes just got a lot classier.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Trump and Netanyahu are going to meet in Israel? At what? A Pariah Conference?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Ban all GOP candidates from traveling until we can properly vet them or until the war with reality is over.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

A great president brings people together. This guy drives people apart. I can't think of a worse candidate for president.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

So funny that, of all places, Israel would want to ban Trump for his anti-Muslim position. Such hypocrites.

And BTW, why the Israeli's? AIPAC can't match Trumps money and can't buy him off like most of the Dems/Reps, that's why.

I think FizzBit is onto something. The Israelis want the next president to be one that is bought by AIPAC. For them to come up with such statements means they actually think Trump will be the next president.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

president brings people together. This guy drives people apart. I can't think of a worse candidate for president.

And Obama is classified as a failure also? Certainly more division under him than in the last 60+ years. Why do you think Trump is so poular? Democrats spew hate and contempt to the opposition and GOP is just as stubborn as the democrats.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

No, Obama tried to bring people together. It's the republicans who have driven the country apart.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

I can't think of a worse candidate for president.

Sarah Palin. At least Trump is smart.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Trump and his supporters will start thinking of the repercussions of their actions right about....now.

Believe me when I tell you, his supporters could care less what the world thinks of him, given some of his past outlandish comments, it hasn't hurt him yet and as long as his supporters don't flee from him, he doesn't have anything to worry about.

Not thinking things through tends to be a side effect of emotional policy making.

That happens to all politicians.

Now, I don't know about UK and Israeli laws, but I say, let Donald J. Trump come in and sing. It is important for Brits and Israelis to see how low the Republican party is.

No, it's not how the GOP is, it's how a lot of PEOPLE feel. As I said before, as bad as Trump's comments were, a lot of people silently agree with him, there is No doubt about that. You can see it in the gun sales and the rejection and fear many are showing towards Muslims, that's just a fact and all the GOP repudiated his remarks, even Cheney said, yo just can't say something like that. So to generalize and lump all Republicans or conservatives into a monolithic group is totally irresponsible for anyone to say that.

Mobs of angry people with military grade weapons are now ready to take action, even against their own police. That US politicians and political candidates like Trump are further riling the mobs with messages of hatred and fear makes a potentially explosive situation even more volatile.

Ok, I will say this and to be fair. Trump's over-reactionary statement is counter to Obama's under-reactionary statement. You can make the argument, the fear that Obama put into the people that he wasn't essentially going to do anything to tackle the ISIS problem aggressively, putting fear in the people causing panic and gun sales to explode, on the other side, you Trump as in typical Trump fashion is preying on that fear and overblowing it and taking this to a whole new slippery slope level.

Trump has shown that sensible people throughout the world see him for what he is, a frightening demagogue. I hope those who continue to support him can be marginalized,

They won't. They are becoming the voice of a growing majority.

but I know the hard of thinking have always been with us. I hope the next time a terrorist commits an atrocity that people will not overreact and saner heads will prevail. If not, even more lives will be put at risk.

But here is the problem with that, had Obama been hard in his actions and more proactive as to how he would precisely execute plans to stop and kill ISIS thwart any future attacks and implementing thought measures to ensure the public he is doing his absolute best at fighting radical terrorism and spending less time lecturing the people about how he thinks and why HE thinks he's right and everyone else is plain stupid. If he would have done that, we wouldn't be talking about Trump now.

How does Muslim = Race? Last I checked Race was genetic and Religion is choice. Calling Trump racist for wanting to bar Muslims from entering America is ridiculous.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Wow! enough politically correct left wingers on here to fill all the NHL teams.

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

Y'know, with statement like that, which you make a lot, you only demonstrate one thing:

. . . Because I care about america? Most of these JT posters who are pro muslim- USA, open up your borders to the refugees, etc DO NOT CARE about america and ordinary americans. Some of them post their opinions, because they cannot vote. They're not even americans. They can care less.

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

In late breaking news, ISIL websites are now taking credit for Donald Trump, saying he was the most effective weapon they have deployed in the West to date.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

How does Muslim = Race? Last I checked Race was genetic and Religion is choice. Calling Trump racist for wanting to bar Muslims from entering America is ridiculous.

True, he isn`t racist. Ridiculous.

Of course Hitlers hatred for the Jews wasnt technically racist either since he was also targeting a religion rather than a race per se.

I guess, like Hitler and his Nazi followers hatred of Jews, Trump and his supporters' hatred of Muslims it falls under the category of "ignorant hatred and bigotry targeted against an identifiable group". Since that is a mouthful to say, I guess people just use the term "racist" because it is a lot easier to say and conveys a similar, if technically inaccurate, description.

Or perhaps the broader catch all phrases like "bigot" is a bit better?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

"Believe me when I tell you, his supporters could care less what the world thinks of him, given some of his past outlandish comments, it hasn't hurt him yet and as long as his supporters don't flee from him, he doesn't have anything to worry about."

No need for a 'believe me' there. Trump himself on Tuesday tweeted that a poll saying 68% of his followers wouldn't flee if he ran as an independent. He's certainly got his eye on these numbers. Trump's comments since he supposedly agreed not to run as in independent haven't been unequivocal on this nightmare for the GOP. According to you, his followers represent the lunatic fringe of the GOP ( although on Fox, Trump's son claimed to have met a Muslim who supports his father's idea ).

Keep in mind what Trump said about the poll and his supporters not fleeing. An egomaniac like Trump stirring up a lunatic fringe with a seige mentality?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

@rainyday,

You`ll have to prove he is a bigot. Words like bigot, racist, fascist etc. are thrown around like the wind these days. Say anything and you are one of these. The easy way out I guess.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

How does Muslim = Race? Last I checked Race was genetic and Religion is choice. Calling Trump racist for wanting to bar Muslims from entering America is ridiculous.

Bigot is the more accurate word here. It's just another name for hatred.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

@Pointedview Wow! enough politically correct left wingers on here to fill all the NHL teams.

I know Fox and other MSM pushing right wing agendas use the term 'PC' as a pejorative, which makes me wonder what it could mean to posters on this site. Does being PC mean you can't make hateful comments about a person because of their skin colour, the country they come from or religion, that you can't use the many ugly terms said to demean a person? Does being PC mean you can't make ugly comments about a person because of their physical disabilities? If someone’s in a wheelchair, for example, do you think it’s OK to belittle them? Or does PC mean ‘anyone whose views differ from mine’. Or does it mean you can’t come up with a reasoned argument so you’ll just call names.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

@Strangerland,

You`d have to prove his hatred to be correct.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

You`ll have to prove he is a bigot.

You must not have read his comments on Mexicans and Muslims. He's already proven it himself, no need for us to do it.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

"As much as I worry about Islamic and other ideological terrorists, which I know are real and out there in all populations, the reactions of the vigilante mobs after San Bernardino are - to me - scarier. Pure fear mongering. No one---and I mean no one---has taken an assault rifle into a Muslim area and opened fire. There have been no random attacks on Muslims. Trump has not called for the deportation of Muslims or the rounding up of Muslims. He has simply said we need a time out to figure out how to deal with the growing violence that comes from a certain sect of this religion so we will control who enters and does not enter the country.

Love the logic that's being sold here: 1.) Muslims repeatedly kill non-Muslims, 2.) non-Muslims want to prevent more Muslims from entering the country for a period of time (not forever), 3.) this will lead to war.

"In the past, people have been banned from entering the United Kingdom for fostering hatred that might provoke intercommunity violence." Oh my goodness! Imagine the hatred and bigotry of controlling your immigration to protect your citizens!

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

@PTownsend,

So silly with your pointedview take.

He`s proven all you left wingers totally wrong. He says this and the media twists it and then uses a sound bite headline. Most news, TV shows are left-wing oriented. Your blanket statements are inaccurate and you are simply showing your support for this kind of media. Facts are facts so state the facts.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

@pointedview Actually I wasn't stating facts. You had used the term politically correct - I assume as a negative - and I as wondering what it meant to you.

Trump defended his proposal on Tuesday, comparing his plan to ban Muslims to the U.S. government’s World War Two detainment of Japanese-Americans.

Those internment camps are a stain in US history, and is considered a crime. Now Trump models his policy based on that. Go figure.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

@samwatters There have been no random attacks on Muslims.

Sorry, there have been.

He says this and the media twists it and then uses a sound bite headline.

I've actually taken the time to read transcripts of some of the stuff he has said. The media doesn't twist it - he says it, and they report it. If he doesn't want them reporting on his bigotry, he shouldn't say bigoted stuff.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Although Israeli politicians demanded Trump be blocked from a planned visit, a Dec. 28 meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was still on.

Netanyahu's decision to meet with Trump speaks volumes about him as a menace to world peace. It's time for Israel to get a new leader.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Heh, Trump has really stirred the pot. I'm lovin' it too. I can care less if he's elected or not. He's went to the extreme in order to open everyone's eyes.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Pure fear mongering. No one---and I mean no one---has taken an assault rifle into a Muslim area and opened fire. There have been no random attacks on Muslims.

Well, this is just plain wrong. Even in peace loving, Canadian Toronto there has been one Mosque burned to the ground and two Muslim women beaten on the street in the past two months.

As for someone taking an assault rifle into a Muslim are and opening fire, just google Cave of the Patriarchs massacre. 29 unarmed Muslims - many of them women and children - dead and 125 wounded at the hands of an American psycho with an assult rifle.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Keep in mind what Trump said about the poll and his supporters not fleeing. An egomaniac like Trump stirring up a lunatic fringe with a seige mentality?

I really don't pay too much attention to a lot of his outrageous comments, but every now and then, he dies say things that make sense, but the last comments he made don't fall in that category.

You`ll have to prove he is a bigot. Words like bigot, racist, fascist etc. are thrown around like the wind these days. Say anything and you are one of these. The easy way out I guess.

No one knows what's in Trump's heart, none of us can say, emphatically that he is a bigot. Personally, I don't think he's a bigot, I just think when he opens up his mouth, he just doesn't think and a lot of this just gets blurted out. Also, there are a lot of people that agree with him, no doubt. Obama has been one of the biggest race dividers and caused a huge racial rift in this country. He's been a partisan divider and the people just don't trust this guy anymore. He puts everyone and everything else ahead of the people.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

He's went to the extreme in order to open everyone's eyes. - comments

Eye opening promotion of his bigoted beliefs and fan base. That's something to be proud of? Validation of hate?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

@PTownsend. First things first; you were correct and I was wrong; I could only access the the top of the one third of the article you sourced but I learned that at least people were beaten and a Mosque defiled which was enough for me. I do not advocate violence against any group and hope thoese who committed these acts are punished to the full extent of the law.

Second; in light of this violence directed towards Muslims I believe the travel ban Trump has advocated is now an even better idea. Neither side apprears to be able to co-exist peacefully so let's have the cooling off period.

@Rainyday. You criticized me in an earlier comment for going back forty years to list Muslim addression. The masscre you cited happened in 1994 in the Middle East by a Jewish person with American citizenship. Horrible to be sure but hardly relevant to the discussion of violence against Muslims in the US. Ditto for the burning down of a Mosque in Canada.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

"I'm not a Trump supporter, but I'm lovin' how he is sucking the air out of the room that you can't even hear Hillary or her cackling"

She's cackling now watching the GOP in chaos. She'll be cackling like never before if Trump runs as an independent.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

He's went to the extreme in order to open everyone's eyes.

I agree. Many have pulled the mask off their face and openly displayed their hatred for those deemed different. At minimum, I hope those employed by the US government who spout extremist beliefs from the security of their keyboards are found out and as a result it's determined they need to find employment elsewhere. I hate to see a person lose their job, but if they support views encouraging discrimination then I think they could be violating US laws. Or at least I thought the US had laws against discriminating based on race, gender, religion, etc.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

" Israeli politicians and more than 250,000 Britons urged their governments on Wednesday to bar Donald Trump from their countries "

Fools. Especially the Israelis should think twice before jumping on the Trump bashing wagon. How about open Israel to unlimited muslim immigration, Germany-style? Israel would cease to exist before you can say "oops". There is a reason that Abbas et al demand a "right of return" of millions of so-called "refugees" to Israel. Demographics matter, When will the PC crowd figure that out?

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

The only thing I see from this trump dumb is the amount of ignorance and racism toward twenty thousand million muslim across the globe . And the stupidity of supporters who think US would risk profit from middle east by following this fool . And from this I can see the power of muslims are growing , definitely . When the only debate for the number one power on world in only muslims , that means ( they are coming) let us scare everybody about them

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Republican values, people, laid out for all to see. Those republicans who are angry aren't angry because they don't share his views, they're angry because he's so blunt about them.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I'm neither siding nor against him but I do believe that not every muslim is a terrorist but every terrorist is a muslim.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

@Strangerland,

Yes. He said keep out illegal Mexican immigrants and Muslums that are not citizens. That`s not bigotry. There, you twisted it again. You have to show facts not left-wing interpretations.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

Those republicans who are angry aren't angry because they don't share his views, they're angry because he's so blunt about them.

I disagree. I have some friends who are fiscal conservatives (and to some degree I can fit into that category as well). They don't agree with the moral stances the Republican party is taking as of recent, but they like the fiscal stance of the conservative party. They are disappointed with the direction the Republicans have been taking as of late.

I do believe that not every muslim is a terrorist but every terrorist is a muslim.

Then you'd be mistaken. There are many non-Muslim terrorists: http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2013/05/muslims-only-carried-out-2-5-percent-of-terrorist-attacks-on-u-s-soil-between-1970-and-2012.html

He said keep out illegal Mexican immigrants and Muslums that are not citizens.

Now this is one of the transcripts that I read, that you obviously didn't. Your comments do not accurately reflect what he said. He didn't say anything about illegals and non-citizens in his comments regarding keeping them out.

If you disagree, dig up the transcript, and point it out, because what I read is at odds with what you are claiming.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

@Strangerland,

The Washington Post? Now theres a good balanced paper. I dont have to read the paper just listen to his speeches and interviews. That way it`s from the horses mouth. Without question his words are being twisted and full statements are being cut.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

You just misquoted him, so it would appear that you do need to read the transcripts as you apparently don't actually know what he said.

His words are not being twisted. If I'm wrong, prove me otherwise.

And regarding my link, it's backed up with numbers from the FBIs own records, so the source doesn't really matter so much as it's not an opinion piece.

422,000 plus petition signees now. As contemptible as his ideas are, I don't he's inciting people to commit crime. From what I've seen he's uttered some pretty appalling opinions and offers naziesque controls. Don't think the UK government have grounds to ban him, but I think it's unlikely he'll get an invite from any sane organisation.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

He's a character all right. He's certainly stirring the sh*tstorm. Although he says loony things and has bonker views, he is opening up everyone's eyes.

In the wake of Paris & San Bernardino, its time a politician should at least acknowledge that we are at war. And that "they're" not contained and that it is- "radical islam!"

We need to turn away islamic refugees (who we don't really know / trust) who will be allowed "in" by the incumbent administration. Tashfeen Malik and the Paris attackers were all just one big brethren waiting to kill us where we call home.

Lost in all of this howling about racism/bigotry/intolerance, etc. is the fact that there is a whole layer of extra government that was created post-9/11 to screen for potential terrorists that completely failed to identify the San Bernardino attackers. The flags were there, they were either missed or ignored and I don't know which is worse. There have been acts of violence (on a lesser scale of course) against Muslims and Trump is right to call for a temporary ban on Islamic visitors if for no other reason than to let things cool down.

Latest news is that Trump has postponed his Israel trip "until I'm president." - comments

Read same.

What the Israelis pointed up is clear to every thinking person. Donald J. Trump, American television personality, is promoting a xenophobic and racist perspective.

The Israelis have it right on this one.

Donald J. Trump's contribution to world peace, at this holiday time, is to pour his fountain of petrol hatred over his bigoted fan base in the States.

Israel wisely tells him his hate is unwelcome, unproductive and dangerous. It certainly looks as if the Brits are disgusted.

Perhaps the Americans feel the same even as the GOP Shia-Tea is placing this Messiah of Hate on their alter of misanthropic ignorance. Why is the GOP-Shia-Tea so in love with this malevolence? Are all Republicans just itching to put the white sheets back on?

So it's nothing to do with these TV companies having lucrative sponsorship deals with the United Arab Emirates? And nothing to do with them having only extreme leftwing management, directors and editors?

The international condemnation of Donald J. Trump, American television personality, has one golden lining; the time wasted on his unfathomable bigotry has removed analysis of the wholly incompetent gun regulation in the States.

The NRA has much to thank Mr. Trump for. Sadly again, the American People will likely only come to that conclusion after another tragedy partly fueled by the mechanics that put the killing machines into the hands of the psychopaths of the Cali slaughter.

What the Israelis pointed up is clear to every thinking person. Donald J. Trump, American television personality, is promoting a xenophobic and racist perspective.

Strange, you usually always bash Israel, but now you are praising them?

Trump's comments were rude the way they came out, however, logically speaking when start to peel back the onion and analyze the rhetoric it kinda makes sense, he's not asking permanently, he's asking a halt on Muslims in particular the refugees until we can really sort out what's going on. Carter did the same to the Iranians back in 1979. No outrage or mention about that. It's interesting that every time, Trump says something outlandish, his numbers go up, both Dems and the GOP need to realize that there are a lot of people that agree with him, even if they are quiet about it. Trump is saying exactly the words that many leaders around the world WANT to say, but are too scared to because of being afraid of reprisals and everlasting backlashes from the Muslim community around the world and worried about causing frictions with the radicals they already have in their midst. Slowing the process, eliminating all visa waiver programs scrutinize all refugees and once they pass all and every background checks, then we can let them in, no exceptions. That's not racist, that's playing safe and playing smart. This is a clear indication that the people repudiate Obama's stagnant and non-effective way of wanting to do nothing and hoping the people just trust in him. It's not working.

@Pat Telzrow"He's got my vote! Go Trump go !"

Were I American, I'd vote him too. The Man has balls. Nowadays many people are duped by silly liberal drivel. They prefer to stay deaf and blind instead of facing rude reality.

"Countries with large population's of Muslims have lots of problems"

Countries with large population's of Muslims have lots of cells of radical Islam and training bases of Islamic terrorists. Further, those countries are well-known sources of ISIS volunteers who move to Turkey and Syria every day.

Do you understand the difference between nationality and religion? Restricting travel from political entities (i.e. countries) that the United States is in open conflict with is not unusual. Barring entry on religious grounds is unprecedented. And, as many have already pointed out, exactly how IS wants the West to react. Perfect recruiting tool.

The best way to counter Trump is to let him keep talking.

Just like Islamic "State", in the end he'll make enemies out of everyone, and he'll be defeated.

Do you understand the difference between nationality and religion?

Sure, but that's not the issue, I know the Dems are trying their very best to make it a racial issue which is pure ludicrous.

Restricting travel from political entities (i.e. countries) that the United States is in open conflict with is not unusual. Barring entry on religious grounds is unprecedented.

They don't have a constitutional right to be here and yes, the US can indeed deny any group or religion in the event of national security and the safety of the nation if there is plausible reason that there is an impending threat?

And, as many have already pointed out, exactly how IS wants the West to react. Perfect recruiting tool.

So that means, we should just sit back and hope for the best? People already know Obama won't do anything about the border, won't do anything about illegal immigration, won't take heavier action against radical Islam, won't call out radical, Islamist Jihad out, wot give our troops the necessary tools and armor they need to fight a proper battle against these groups... Even after this error attack last week, his respons was like, no big deal. But he expects the public to trust him and believe in his inability to properly lead this country.

yamashi:

" Countries with large population's of Muslims have lots of cells of radical Islam and training bases of Islamic terrorists. Further, those countries are well-known sources of ISIS volunteers who move to Turkey and Syria every day. "

Exactly. All the xJT posters who are bashing Trump and clamouring for unlimited islamic immigration to the West should quote one example where islamic mass immigration into a non-islamic country has worked out. Of course, there is none. Because islam itself is a political ideology that is diametrically opposed to Western values.

Trump simply states the obvious: There is no unlimited "right to immigrate" for foreign nationals. Any nation should have the right to determine who immigrates and who does not. For that matter, is Japan a fascist country because it protects her borders?

uh..yeah, I can see how that would work. "See, my brother? The infidel will not let you enter the land of haram where homosexuality, fornication and the dreaded democracy thrive! Join us at ISIS!"

Yeah, you're real sharp. Cynical = funny = convincing.

Let me spell it out to you in simple terms (although I gather you are intelligent, but have a few bitter hangups). IS is losing credibility through massive numbers of Syrians and Iraqis leaving areas of their control. It's bad PR. The Islamic State is is branded as a paradise for true Muslims, but a mass exodus implies otherwise. The way IS can counter this is by inciting terrorist attacks by Muslims in the West that will impel governments in those countries to clamp down on Muslims a la the Donald, Ted Cruz, and most of the GOP who are pandering to fear. Then, as the stated IS strategy goes, the grey zone will be swept away and more Muslims will be persuaded that the societies in which they live have it in for Muslims and that IS is legit.

Good luck with your cynicism. I'm sure it will do the world a whole lot of good.
