I saw this video, it is stupid, just made to anger Muslims. Ok, it is a stupid video, so??? Death to America? Death to anybody and everybody who makes a video, etc..that Muslims find offensive?? Please, time to get a life!! There are many, many more important problems in this world, like feeding poor hungry children, bringing clean water, electricity etc..to millions of people around the world. We are all humans, it does not matter what religion you are, you are a HUMAN first, once we forget that FIRST we are HUMANS, and try to make others less than our group, our religion etc..We start to behave and act more like wild ANIMALS, just wild with violence, without reason, without compassion, mercy for your fellow humans on this small planet. If you are a human, time to sit down, relax and ask yourself, if their is a GOD, would this GOD want you to act like a human?? Or to act like a wild insane rabid dog?? I think any GOD would say, dudes relax, get a life and worry about other things, since GOD is almighty a little stupid video will be nothing for such a GOD, right??

These riots have the unintended consequence of shutting down US consulates, which effectively halts the issuance of US entry visas, including immigrant visas, to people from those countries. To which I say, "Good."

Still no protests from Muslims in the US?

My advice to all muslims and other religions.

Know this.

Your are a nice person because of who you are... Nothing to do with religion

OR

Your are evil or violent because of who you are... Nothing to do with religion

Stop giving credit to religion for who you are...

Your are evil or violent because of who you are... Nothing to do with religion

Quran (2:191-193) - "And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution of Muslims is worse than slaughter of non-believers... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah."

Quran (3:56) - "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help."

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

Quran (9:30) - "And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away!"

I don't see anything reprehensible here. Do you?

I find Salman Rushdie's recent comments to NPR all too true:

The people responsible for such violence have the "mindset of the fanatic, mindset of the tyrant" to respond to an insult to one's religion with violence. "To murder people who had nothing to do with it," he added, is a "deeply uncivilized attitude."

"Something has gone wrong inside the Muslim world," Rushdie continued. Just a few decades ago, he said, major cities in the Arab and Muslim world were outward-looking. But "in the last half century, these cultures seem to have slid backwards into medievalism and represssion. ... It is one of the great self-inflicted wounds."

I have to agree that the current "interpretation" of the koran has resulted in atrocities that are, as Rushdie says, deeply undivilized. The treatment of women as chattel is another example. So yeah, what you do to others pretty much says who you are. But if you define yourself by islam then the koran itself indicates that you are going to react violently to anybody who "persecutes" you. A self-inflicted wound indeed.

Still no protests from Muslims in the US?

They are Obama's biggest supporters in America. Duh.
