You have to look at the mirror "dear leader", sometimes when you talk, you sound like "oink oink"... :)

It'll be interesting to see how far this cyberwar stuff goes. Can North Korea take on the giant U.S. cyber setup? If reports are correct, North Korea did dig in deep into Sony's cyber cells. What's next ... ??

Oh the North Korean wisdom!

“Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest,”

Not unlike the tone of the criticisms leveled by Obama's foes in America, including some of our dear friends on JT!

Tropical forest monkeys are "reckless in words and deeds"? Seth Rogen and his writing partner should send half their royalties directly to the NK government to reimburse the comedy gold.

I highly doubt it, criticizing Obama and his policies is one thing, but outright calling him a monkey NO one is saying or thinking that, another trumped up accusatory statement from liberals playing the race card and Kimis the last person to talk with his big self.

Sounds like the North Korea is sinking to the level of a Tea Party redneck.

When you have nothing else to say, when you are at an intellectual deficit.... You resort to personal insults.

liberals playing the race card

Nobody on this thread (nor in this article) mentioned race. I was referring to the level of hyperbolic vitriol leveled at Obama. Please leave race out of this.

It's amazing that NOWAD you would say that, if race has nothing to do with it, why then would the NK call Obama a "monkey" and liberals always talk about race? Surely it does matter.

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

It is a well known racial insult to refer to African Americans as monkeys, apes... Etc

Tropical forest monkeys are anything but reckless. They have to be careful to survive. In fact, a tropical forest monkey would have a been a far better candidate than Obama's last 2 opponents, and would probably be an improvement over the current president. Not that North Koreans would know anything about tropical forests, or the monkeys in them.

Please cite an instance where I 'talked about race'. Do you just want to paint me as the stereotypical image of a liberal you have in your mind?

Again, I'm talking about the level of hyperbolic vitriol leveled at Obama by certain people over the years. Well documented, including many a comment by you, bass4funk.

I wonder if the North Korean government also tells its people that Obama wasn't born in the US and is a Muslim. Then again, I doubt the North Koreans are stupid enough to believe that. If they find out what the conservative knuckle-heads have always known, that Obama is a communist, we could see a détente.

With the USA as always gungho and gunhappy with weaker people and weaker nations I wonder how the Americans would react if the table was reversed and the assassination victim was Obama. I think this movie was uncalled for and just like the war machine industry the movie directors were more interested in quick profits. Maybe with the help of American black basketball players the North Koreans can make something similar to tick off both Democrats and Republicans and the US police departments.

A difficult discussion, a difficult subject, and a situation which allows for more speculation since no decisive factual evidence available to point any finger at any major entity. It does allow the media to play the field and keep the subject going to involve every nation and every politician, especilly within the USA.

The "detailed" information supposedly hacked and the "timing" of the hacking and release of such information, may appear to point at external entities, but if interpreted from the US and International political point of view, it is another convenient "distraction" for someone or some entity/ies that can benefit from such speculation and concentrated effort and concern. If the stolen NSA data by Snowden was in fact "stolen" and not planted. This too can be another such move.

True China does have the ability and probably the desire to discredit the USA and NK may not like the USA, but why target a company like Sony's USA operation in Hollywood?

It appears to be a "distraction" to cover some other activity going on with China, ISIS, Israel, Russia, Europe and especially within the USA. Recently, the media appears be "played" and "used" to cover news that "incite" and "politicize" everything within the USA. Meanwhile, the world situation gets worse because the distractions prevent effective legislation and governance within the USA. And like it or not, what is happening and not happening within the USA affects the world.

Recently, over the past 5 to 6 years, what is NOT happening within the USA (or more important, what is not being done) has impacted the world more than what has happened. And everything that has happened appears to be a major "distraction" and "misdirection" to prevent the effectiveness of the role of USA in the world.

This also appears to such a distraction... just be the way Mr. Obama has reacted to it.

What do you think?

A difference is Obama is unpopular but not despised. I want nothing more than Obama out of office but not assassinated. KJU on the other hand is despised. I want him gone with no likeminded successor.

And to your Hollywood point....absolutely they are hypocrites in what they say and what they do. Excellent observation.

Reading this article just reminds of the part in the INTERVIEW, when KIM JUNG UN says,

"You know what hurts more than Nuclear bombs? ---- WORDS!" And he starts getting teary eyed!

LOL!

It's the same story. Just another propaganda technique using name-calling or the despicable substitution of names. Calling someone a monkey is unacceptable. If people want to be part of a civilized society instead of a hermit kingdom under no circumstances should they use these words or any other variation there of really to describe people period. Calling someone else a name is a lazy person's resource and takes away all of their collected knowledge, their education and their manners, putting them in the same class as barbarian trolls who don't know any better.

There were many threads in the past where you called out conservatives as being too critical of the president for a number of things, one being his race.

Again, I'm talking about the level of hyperbolic vitriol leveled at Obama by certain people over the years. Well documented, including many a comment by you, bass4funk.

So what is wrong with pointing out the vitriol when it's true. As the saying goes, "if the shoe fits...."

If you can find a direct quote from somebody on this site calling Obama a "monkey" then go ahead and post it up.

N Korea blasts Obama as 'monkey' in threat over movie

WTF, who cares what North Korea's Communist leadership thinks or wants?!

The fact of the matter is that Communist North Korea and it's benefactor the Communist Chinese elites time is coming to an end.

They force their own poor to eat grass while their elites live high on the hog! Time is short for these sighted fools, but sadly it will be a bit more before their toes are strung up! But, their time would be a whole lot shorter if Liberals in the West were out of Office. But, happily the Left and their Western Liberal moocher Leaders time is running short.

2016 elections will soon be here and the Liberals and their Communist allies soon feel the anger of the tax payers!

2016 can't get here soon enough!

The US can't attack NK until NK makes a legitimate attack against US citizens/soil/interests/SK or Japan that can be considered an undeniable act of war. All NK does is make threats and take money. But one day they will take the step necessary to wipe out the regime. It just can't come soon enough.
