Right...I doubt even the North Koreans believe it but they know better than to speak out. SUch a sad country. I hope that one day it realizes its faults and tries to turn itself around for the sake of its citizens.

Yeah, and I've got empty beer bottles I could drop out the window of a Cessna over DPRK.

NK are idiots, just just admitted to breaking their prior agreements, they didn't even try to cover it up like the last "satellite test"

"Pyongyang was ready to match any enemy, “nuclear for nuclear, missile for missile.”

And the old guy who died could beat everyone at golf too. Was it 19 he did a round in?

Thanks for the laugh NKorea! You made my day!

Don't laugh - they could FedEx 'em.

Yeah... I would like to see them try something stupid like that. They will need more than rocket fuel made of firework grade TNT powder to do this. They could barely afford kerosene I quite sure they cant afford grade A rocket fuel. Funny them DPKR little men...

N Korea says its missiles can strike U.S. mainland. U.S. mainland says its missiles can strike N. Korea, so there.

Kapuna the North Korea says it has a missile, the world knows the USA has lots of different missiles. All of them are fully tested. Then there is the stealth force. They must want more food or the leader needs a new I phone.

I always get the sense that their still chafing from the whooping The U.N. gave them during the Korean War. I could be wrong.

We know that NK leaders know that an attack (nuclear or otherwise) on American soil would be akin to giving the US military a blank check to exercise unrestricted warfare against North Korea and any Chinese "volunteers". There would be no moral debate about protecting some other country's democracy or getting rid of weapons of mass destruction. It would just be a legitimate, plain ol' war of self-defense.

They're just not quite at the level of mutually assured destruction. A bit one-sided for now.

i bet if they aim them high enough the jet stream will deliver the broken up missile debris to the US of A. :p

I don't think N Korea even if they posses ICBM that can carry nuclear multiple warhead . They won't use it. But in the case when war broke out. The primary target will be +++++ not S Korea nor US.. Why.....u know why.

There is no differences between democracy and communism nation nowadays. It's discipline of one nation that COUNT. Freedom of system of government.

The difference between North Korean missiles and US missiles is simple; US missiles launch, track, and strike! North Korean missiles pop off like giant roman candles and pollute the oceans with debris. The little fat man should be careful whom he threatens.

Are they still making those cheap bottle rockets?

1 ( +1 / -0 )

As I've written before ... if North Korea does send missiles toward the U.S. ... then it's bye bye North Korea. I believe the North Koreans are not that stupid ... because it would be like committing suicide.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

I seriously doubt this... I don't think they have the capability to launch ICBMs across the Pacific to America.

................ too much exposure to Disney's Mickey Mouse fosters fantasy-land thinking

"They must want more food or the leader needs a new I phone."

Good one Yuri. Then when he gets the food and iphone he'll go back to say they don't have any nuclear missiles. So I guess it's the iPhone 5 he wants?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

And who is gonna call?, last time i checked, you can hook an iphone up to a land line

I think that N. Korea is bluffing and that they don't have such a capacity. They failed with their missile test and satellite launch... On the other hand, they might have missile which could reach Tokyo.

I think they're telling the truth. They just might have the ability to hit the Aleutians.

Suggest you guys watch the movie "The Red Dawn". It's about what happens when N Korea invades the U.S.A. Coming to your local screens in November 2012!!

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

"Red Dawn" was an old movie about the Russians invading Colorado and the rest of the Rockies. Are they doing a remake? Because I don't think NK can even get an airplane to California, let alone a missile. Yeah, maybe the Aleutians. Sort of like the Japanese invasion of the US then? Let's remember what happened after that. NK could be dust if the Americans decided they wanted it that way. But the NK people suffer enough as it is. And their pathetic leadership is a laughingstock.

North Korea invading the USA, oh make me laugh! The soldiers would never get past the wall$marts and supermarkets. If it was Communist China it would be more believable.

I have no doubt that N.K. missiles could strike mainland American soil... if they were first smuggled into Mexico or Canada, then launched within a mile of the border they could make the flight. Anything much farther than that, however...

I just don't understand why these communist countries keep on bragging about thier missiles ranges. They know that once a missile strike a nation, it's WWIII and the end of mankind. Them communist countries included. And they are not stupid to start it.

Can you imagine how pleasant Korea would be if if the north would finally realise they're just being complete arses and unite with the south? They've been out of touch for so long there is no reason for this to continue.

I read an interesting article last week where someone was saying that neighbouring countries weren't looking forward to a possible collapse of n Korean govt.

They said the country is a basket case.

Likening it to the struggle to bring east Germany in from the cold, they said nk would be far more difficult because there are not the skills or education available within the population to gainfully employ enough of them in order to bring the country up to speed within a few generations...and the costs involved of trying to improve infrastructure including housing, medical, education, transport etc would bring South Korea to its knees and empty UN coffers.
