peanut, one or two nukes at most. Then they will be subject to return fire. This assumes their nukes work beyond .5kt and are portable.

They will strike with a nuclear weapon.

Move the OSPREYS to SK - an appropriate deployment.

The South Korean president's favorite past time seems to be island hopping
MrExpatriate
yeah, okay...whatever. Go ahead and try something and there will be no more KPA to talk empty again
Yeah, because shelling a S. Korean island and hitting a S. Korean warship with torpedoes that kills 46 military men is "barking" and "talking empty". I don't advocate for either attack, but if anyone is all bark and talking empty, it's South Korea. Did they retaliate from either offense, which in most cases would be grounds for war in any other civilized nation? I didn't think so.

Maybe their just upset about the activists using up the helium supply?

Yes, NK makes this threat all the time but the wording has changed. When you get so little real information about a country the pundits will make a mountain out of a mole hill when the details change. At least that's all I hope it is.
Of course as China's puppet NK is probably trying to get the press stories off the Chinese foolishness and back to their own insanity. Or maybe the dear pudgy successor has run out of his favorite libation.

This is how many times this warning has been issued?

The KPA never makes empty talk...

Try it NK, we will finish them good this time.

Wow... this time it looks like they mean it. The son just took over so this might be his way of saying "remember who's in charge..." but very dear mistake. If they attack it might be the best thing to happen to DPRK. This might be the door opener.
HonestDictator
Hmm. I wonder when SK will finally knock NK down... I'm really sick and tired of NKs crap.

South Korea will go Gangnam Style on the North in a big way.

Hmmmm...this might not end well....

Next week, eh? Well, then it won't be a surprise attack.
"Some 28,500 U.S. military personnel are stationed in the South - a legacy of the Korean War"
And then we've got tens of thousands of U.S. military personnel stationed in Japan and Germany, - a legacy of WW2. All these legacies are costing U.S. taxpayers ( the 53% ) a BUNDLE!

Considering this loose cannon, it may actually happen. Not good, people.

The main point of origin of the tension (as far as we are considering the peninsula itself) is Lee Myung-Bak.
ReformedBasher
North Koreans probably feeling left out after all the lunatic antics in China and South Korea.

Merciless is fine, but keep your humanity and drop it on the army and not on the civilan population this time, please.
These repeated balloon releases must be quite irritating though...

"merciless”
What? They didn't proclaim they'd turn South Korea into a "sea of fire"?
NKGov Propaganda dept. must be asleep at the wheel... :-)
