This fat boy needs to start doing some exercise ASAP! If he keeps up the good life, eating like a pig, drinking and messing around with untold numbers of women etc..he will be joining granpa and pappy down there in a warm part of hell real soon, maybe he can say hi to Stalin, Hilter, Osama binladen too??

I just wanna grab on to those chins and pull.

He looks like a bloated version of a boss I once had.

N. Korea has solved one problem that facing most nations, that is "obesity". During the farewell ceremony sending Kim Jung Ill to hell, there were no "obesity" in the mass; except Kim's dynasty and the new supreme pork chop leader. If among the elites in Pyongyang show no sign of being fat, what about the outer belt of the city? Well, if drug and exercise still not working; it is time to send (or volunteer!) all the liberals and extremists to N.Korea in order to save billions from national budget. The treatment is called " national glorious Kim's selective starvation policy". Happy New Year.

N Koreans urged to defend Kim Jong-Un 'unto death'...That won't be much of a fight 'cause most of them are starving

The people won't be doing it for long. The rate the supreme porky is going pilling on the pounds he will die of heart failure before long just like Papa. And seriously can someone also tell him to sort his damn hair out.....

The leaders of the Kim dynasty remind me of the swine in Orwell's "Animal Farm" -- in more ways than one.

He's kinda cute, even if he is a fresh of the boat dictator.

This is such a sad story. Unfortunately, he may just get his wish. He can't be so foolish because he has enjoyed the wealth of the western world, Japan and SK. If he doesn't jump like a good puppet, he can be replaced, and it may just be what the "family" is planning.

Ah, so it's not open-ended, then? This is good news! Let us get on with it!

His father should have put him in the military, where he might have learned some discipline and the merits of physical fitness, instead of sending him to a soft, Swiss prep school to play video games and jump ball.

This does provide us with a good barometer of the type of leader he wants to be. If he is fatter 12 months from now, we know he plans to be another gluttonous, sybaritic despot/puppet. If he is significantly thinner, then he plans to be a serious, hands-on despot. Maybe even an ideologue.

Surely a bit more must be known about him if he went to school in Switzerland for a while. He must have mixed with some other people from various countries, no? Didn't he make any friends there? Not much point studying abroad if the lessons are taken all by yourself. I would like to hear what his classmates thought of him etc. and whether he mastered English.

This guy who is 28 years old needs to take some "Jane Fonda's Arobic" CDs to loose weight. Maybe the US needs to include them along with food aid to NK.

Their 'Dear Leader' died just two weeks ago, and now North Koreans are told they have to accept his son, who they've barely heard of before, as their new reason for living? Surely even the most brainwashed, unquestioning peope of the regime are having nagging suspicions now...

If you have any suspicions at all that means your brain hasn't been washed well.

Either they are brainwashed or we are

and follow the great party for ever,” it said.

How about forever?

It should not be the communist society but rather the corpulent society.

“The whole party, the entire army and all the people should possess a firm conviction that they will become human bulwarks and human shields in defending Kim Jong-Un unto death, and follow the great party for ever,”

Against who or what would the great successor need defending?

The North has set the goal of becoming a “powerful and prosperous” nation this year

This is still a nation that unfortunately cannot feed its people and the outlook for this year is bleak indeed. What or who will generate this prosperity? Not a word about that. Just more slogans and political meaningless rhetoric. The new 'leader' could not even be bothered to make a speech. That is a foreboding of what kind of leadership NC is in for. Sad.

hahaha, presto345 you beat me to it.

No-one wants to touch the guy, so why the rhetoric about defending him, let alone to the death? LOL

If you look closely at the text, however, anyway in another translation that I saw, it is linked to defending the party leadership, ie all of the power elite. By allying themselves with him, they are covering their own asses.

NO!!! Aerobics will give him heart attack and Jong-Un in leotard will give us all heart attack.

Rumor: He has been trying to gain weight and make himself resemble his grandfather Kim Il-sung who was respected at most by the citizens.

Why are Marxist and Stalinist fruitcakes so melodramatic?
