Kakarot9, it will take a lot of shells to destroy Seoul. The NK artillery will have closer problems to attend. My guess it that the US and the ROK will counterattack within 3 days. They will have air supremacy within 12 hours. The war will be over within a month unless China sends in volunteers. Of course we can deal with large volumes of low grade troops now. The Iraqi Army was over a million strong.

North Korea has a large amount of people in their military, but it's far from strong. North Korea is suffering from a lack of food, and most places don't even have electricity. They had that one small nuclear test earlier, but I doubt they are anything to fear, unless you live in Seoul where they could launch a preemptive strike and flatten the city in minutes with regular shells.

@geronimo206 --

Along with inheriting NK it looks like the heir-apparent son has also inherited his Dad's hair style, pudgy figure, his really poor sense of fashion in clothing and maybe even the sunglasses too.

You obviously haven't seen his grandfather, Kim il Sung... he is the spitting image of him. Rumors have it that he had plastic surgery to look like his grandfather.

In NK, it is believed that if the leader of the country has a "pudgy figure", it is good for the country.

Before making statements like that, try reading Google news first.

Jong Un looks like a fat figure in a country of hungry people. As a symbol, is a bad signal.

When North Korea finally collapses ( no thanks to China )and South Korea is forced to absorb their impoverished neighbor, this will be a serious challenge for the South Koreans.

But I guess on the plus side he gets all the girls, booze ,good food and power trips he can handle

He's only a puppet. The true power lies within the military. Because NK has nucleur weaponary, can get VERY VERY scarey fast.

"heir apparent Kim Jong Un"

I wonder how many North Koreans really want heir apparent Kim Jong Un to be their next leader.

Wouldn't that be enough to make anyone go completely nuts. I bet he was dreading this day coming. But I guess on the plus side he gets all the girls, booze ,good food and power trips he can handle. May wonderfully wierd NK continue as the strangest country on the planet by a mile!!!
