Preaching to the choir. Still... pots and kettles and stuff.

Makes more sense than their usual rhetoric, but still.  not like they behave normally that often either.

He's not a psychopath, but he is a sociopath. Kim Jong-Un on the other hand probably is a psychopath. Still, it's worrying that Trumpty is able to get us all to even half-agree with any utterance coming out of Pyongyang. Quite an achievement.

The North Korean spokesman went on to say, "And we know a thing or two about psychopaths here in NK. In fact, we worship them. Ask anybody, it's true. It's true. We are home to the biggest psychopaths in the world. Ask anyone."

5 ( +8 / -3 )

Ooooh.. this name-calling is getting nasty.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Trump isn't a psychopath or a sociopath, he's an ignorant rich kid.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

if it walks like a psychopath, talks like a psychopath and acts like a psychopath, then it is a psychopath.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Funny, since most politicians and presidents at the very least tend to have psychopathic tendencies. Not to mention, psychopaths are generally very smooth talkers who don't show their feelings easily. Some recent presidents fit that bill, but Trump isn't one of them.

So, North Korea agrees with CNN and MSNBC. Yep, suiting company.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

Yes, it is funny when NK sounds half way reasonable.

Still, they missed the mark a little. Trump is so much more than just a psychopath.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Turnabout. Remember the DPRK newspaper (i.e. one of Kim's) that praised Trump?

@comradeteer Funny, since most politicians and presidents at the very least tend to have psychopathic tendencies. Not to mention, psychopaths are generally very smooth talkers who don't show their feelings easily. Some recent presidents fit that bill, but Trump isn't one of them.

But Trump is a CEO. Look at the Forbes list of jobs that attract psychopaths: https://www.forbes.com/sites/kellyclay/2013/01/05/the-top-10-jobs-that-attract-psychopaths/#55a411ec4d80

@comradeteer Then would you say someone like Putin fits your description of a psychopath?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The funny thing is that Trump & KJU are probably the only 2 world leaders who engage in silly & hilarious war of words over, well, pretty much anything. Where others would/do laugh it off, DT/KJU bite & snap. Entertaining yet dangerous.

Wow... when even a lunatic like Kim is calling Trump a psychopath...

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Wow... when even a lunatic like Kim is calling Trump a psychopath...

Kim isn't a lunatic. If he were we'd all be little piles of radioactive ash by now.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

mr kimsama is a little bit smart. americans are so divided by the clinton loss, that anything anti-trump is a bonus in their campaign of election loss denial. he mumbled just a few words and i bet they will be quoting this as evidence of him being a psychopath.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

We have a saying; even a broken clock is right twice a day.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Pot kettle black.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Then would you say someone like Putin fits your description of a psychopath?

Of course. Along with many men who are glorified as heroes in history books around the world.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Oh, I'm truly offended, I really am... what an insult, bigly.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Let's see, little Kim has his uncle executed, his former girlfriend executed, his own brother executed in a public, barbaric and graphic way has the death and blood of an American on his hands starves his people, has frequent executions for anyone that defies him and he has the nerve to call Trump a psychopath? Too funny, this piece of work.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Then would you say someone like Putin fits your description of a psychopath?

@comradeteer Of course. Along with many men who are glorified as heroes in history books around the world.

Along with men who have been responsible for the most hideous actions in human history. Stalin, Hitler and Mao quickly come to mind. Stalin handpicked Kim Il Sung to lead North Korea, and that psychopathic leadership is being continued.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Ha, ha. Pot, kettle; kettle, pot.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

It takes one to know one.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

My understanding is that psychopathy/ sociopathy is very much on a sliding scale and not a binary thing. However, it is almost certain that  Trump would score highly on the test.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

If Trump is a psychopath what is the "clown" running North Korea?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Stalin handpicked Kim Il Sung to lead North Korea, and that psychopathic leadership is being continued

I think you're referring to the "deep state." Yes, I do agree.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Trump may be called anything but we know Trump never fed his uncle to hungry dogs when Trump was 11 years old.  None of his siblings had to be hidden in Macao by Chinese Govt.  Trump was elected to be USA President.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Trump making Kim Jong-un sensible.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Right back at you, Kim.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

If Trump is a psychopath what is the "clown" running North Korea?

Another psychopath.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

"South Korea must realise that following psychopath Trump...will only lead to disaster," an editorial carried by the paper said.

Moon has already stopped THAAD deployment dead on it's tracks and is ripping up the 2015 Comfort Women Agreement signed in 2015. No need to dictate, it is happening.

"I believe we must now have the perception that North Korea is an irrational regime," Moon told CBS television's "This Morning."

Moon himself isn't looking too far off from the view of the US and Japan. Better get ready to be told so in the face by another one in Washington DC soon.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

...and so say all of us!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Another psychopath.

I think Trump would take that comment and looking at how disastrous the Democrats are at winning anything as a compliment. Kudos!

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

It seems that N Korea wants to argue and name calling challenge toward the word' only expert arguer.  N K needs to train its head in TV shows and American type media free questioners.  It can try but will be making it more fool than anyone else in the world.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

The deep state! The deep state! Of course it's the deep state, it couldn't be an incompetent in charge. See, out there in the unicornverse, they don't believe in self-responsibility.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

At the very least; Joffrey is a pathological liar. The tapes fiasco is a joy to behold in it's unbridled, sheer "look at me" nonsense.

Trump slammed the "brutal regime" in Pyongyang, and said he was determined to "prevent such tragedies from befalling innocent people at the hands of regimes that do not respect the rule of law or basic human decency."

Well, well. Maybe the warships should be sent to US waters as well as DPRK territory. If there's concerns about dodgy regimes and all that.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

The funny thing about all these "pot kettle black" comments is they are effectively saying that we're okay sinking to the same level as the Kim regime, but the Kims had better not dare to imagine themselves as rising above us.

Kind of a sad state of affairs. Kinda reminds me of when people attack random innocent Muslims as revenge for entirely different Muslims also happening to be terrorists. Too many Americans are all too ready to sink to the level of the people they hate, it seems.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Along with men who have been responsible for the most hideous actions in human history. Stalin, Hitler and Mao quickly come to mind.

Don't forget Churchill (Bengal Famine) and Truman (Hiroshima-Nagasaki). I don't expect much from JT lurkers, but I was saddened that my obviously true comment was so soundly downvoted. One has to be living in an imaginary land to think that the great men revered in textbooks aren't mostly psychopaths. Unless one believes that it's perfectly normal to kill thousands or millions of innocents with the push of a button.

bass4funk: "has frequent executions for anyone that defies him and he has the nerve to call Trump a psychopath?"

It's only different in level in terms of what Trump is doing. Comey a threat? Fire him. Mueller a threat? call for his head. Put in people who will lick your butt and praise you as a god. He hasn't started executing people yet, but he is leading the US down the road to dictatorship, so you never know. In any case, you were calling Trump a lunatic yourself only a year ago. Now so is Kim, and Kim is right, as you were before the flip-flop.

Level is everything. Otherwise, by your definition, 90% of the people I have met in mid-management positions are psychopaths. Firing someone is not the same as blowing them to bits with an anti-aircaft gun. I don't think you need to be told that, though.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

The deep state! The deep state! Of course it's the deep state.

Exactly or is it as mythically a myth as the Russian collusion? Who knows?

It's only different in level in terms of what Trump is doing. Comey a threat? Fire him.

Which is his constitutional right, and?

Mueller a threat? call for his head.

You don't think it's odd that the man who was the FBI director who was in charge of investigating alleged possible collusion with the Russians and subsequently fired now all of A sudden his closest friend and mentor is now the lead investigator on the case with Comey his protégé as his star witness. Excuse me if I and millions of Americans smell something very fishy about all this.

Put in people who will lick your butt and praise you as a god.

Oh, please a lot of that was definitely going on with the last president and not to mention, they were lemmings in complete lockstep with his agenda, don't go there.

He hasn't started executing people yet, but he is leading the US down the road to dictatorship, so you never know. In any case, you were calling Trump a lunatic yourself only a year ago.

But I evolved, strange the left isn't evolving, because if they did, they might win an election or two sometime, it would help a lot instead of being defiant and whiny all the time.

Now so is Kim, and Kim is right, as you were before the flip-flop.

Because im not a lemming, I have free thought which is different from the collective.

Kim Jong-un should be taught a lesson. Sooner rather than later. Let's start with the International Criminal Tribunal.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Whew!  And here I was, thinking Trump must be a psychopath, after reading thousands of JT posters' comments vilifying him, but now that the North Koreans say he's a psychopath, I know he's not a psychopath!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

America is better than North Korea! Our current psychopath will only be around for four years, eight tops! Yours stay until he is unable to fullfill his duties! So Ha! Who's laughing now!? Ha ha... ha... ... Oh boy...
