The Art of the Deal.

Trump is ineffective on North Korea.

Well, that's good old North Korea, as always...

Not a surprise, but we are talking about NK give them the benefit of a doubt, but If they want to see a restart in the war games, easily done, then they'll get hit with ice cold water of reality. If they think sanctions will be lifted, they are delusional and they might get hit with even more sanctions.

I don’t think that “even more sanctions” is much of a threat to Kim. Russia and China will supply them.

It doesn't matter that Dump lied and made the situation worse because Russia and China will keep NK propped up. NK is their geopolitical buffer from Western democracy. It is like having a chained vicious dog in your yard, so no one can reach the house, or no one would dare try to reach the house.

Dump is constantly winning!

Same old...same old....for as long as I can remember.

"indeed a foolish act that amounts to waiting to see a boiled egg hatch out".

I didn't hear that one before.

That comment alone is the main reason why Dems would be bad for the WH and especially the economy. Math is something that liberals are just horrible at.

And the US, Japan and SK will be on their toes and confiscated and block them wherever they are over the land and sea. Are their goods that the NK get through? Some, but not even close to the majority and not enough to keep that already fragile country stable.

But even vicious dogs need to eat and if you don't feed it.....

Yup!!

Trump was right to talk to the North Koreans. It was worth a try.

His idiotic grandstanding after he came back was par for the course.

North Korea acting like North Korea is par for the course too.

All very predictable.

Bass: That comment alone is the main reason why Dems would be bad for the WH

Why? I think a Democrat would respond with more sanctions. But we aren’t going to sanction our way out of this one.

and especially the economy. Math is something that liberals are just horrible at.

I have a degree in finance from a top 20 private university. If we’re disagreeing, I’m guessing it’s not because I don’t understand the math.

And the US, Japan and SK will be on their toes and confiscated and block them wherever they are over the land and sea.

You really think Russia and China will just stand on the sidelines and watch the US bankrupt NK right in their backyard? Tell me that’s not the plan.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

SuperLib: Russia and China has let down NK already. Well, not the upper level of course. NK has systemic economic and food problems.

Adding sanctions is beating a dead horse...

Surprised? Ask Iran.

"Trump is ineffective on North Korea."

Then what was Obama on North Korea?

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Not to those who acknowledge that in the latest agreement, North Korea promised nothing it hadn't promised before.

No, they did promise to denuclearize, but if they don’t, that’s OK because they are the ones that need money to feed their hungry regime and collapse economy not us.

To those who said it was a breakthrough that no other president could have achieved, and that it would earn Trump a Nobel Peace Prize, it ought to be a surprise.

Not really, the only people to keep talking about a Nobel peace prize are liberals and as In true fashion that is the only thing that they care about, so not surprised on that.

It was only 3 weeks before large cracks started to show, and in the history of international agreements, even failed ones, that isn't much.

Again, they will have to suffer the consequences not us, they need something from us and that is to have access to their money and relief from the sanctions and neither of those will happen until they denuclearize.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

As they had promised before. In other words, 1) the agreement said nothing that hadn't been said before, and therefore it didn't contain anything that could be called "new ground" or "unprecedented"

Except adding more sanctions to the crippling sanctions that are already hard hitting.

and 2) we have the experience of previous broken promises to tell us that North Korea can sign agreements on "denuclearization of the Korean peninsula" without intending to unilaterally abandon its nuclear programme.

Yes, this is true and we can do the very thing they so deeply despise and that’s resuming the war games, too bad for them then.

This is why the vaguely worded agreement that Trump "secured" was treated with widespread skepticism.

Ok or the other alternative was to go to war, but the left vehemently opposed that, so the other option was to talk, either that or drop bombs. No one said the talks would be perfect, but at least he tired and at least he was able to bring the remains of a lot of our fallen men and women.

Probably the only thing that surprised the skeptics was the dizzying speed with which it began to fall apart.

Of course the liberal media can focus on that, they don’t have anything better to do than to oppose this President, so if he had decided to go to war, the left would have criticized him, if not, they still would have criticized him, so it doesn’t matter, either way, he can’t win with the left. So it doesn’t matter at all what they say or think.

The first signs were just 2 weeks after the summit, it became even more apparent 3 weeks after the summit, and within a month, the two countries were back to trading recriminations.

Well, the ball is in Kim’s court, he needs to decide what he wants, feed his people, his military, stay in power or lose it all.

It's not at all how Trump's devoted admirers, the slaves to a personality cult, presented it.

No one is a slave unlike liberals that act like lemmings that are ready to jump off the socialist cliff.
