North Korea has elevated leader Kim Jong Un to a status approaching his grandfather, the country's founder Kim Il Sung, analysts said Friday after Pyongyang revised its constitution to reinforce his authority.

And no doubt helping this was his three meetings with Trump where Donnie groveled at the Dear Leaders feet showing his countrymen how powerful he is....

Kim says "thank you Donnie"....

Just one more tyrant and Dictator that Donnie has lent his support and friendship...

Has Kim Jong Un thanked Stalin for making his grandfather his very own 'chosen one'? Or is Kim's cozying up to Putin his way of giving thanks. Cults of personality have created problems for millennia. And they continue today. See Cult 45 for an example.

Seems like he's really a beloved leader. At least the DPRK citizens love and respect their head of state, more than we can say for our societies!

Well, it helps when you have a gun pointed at your head, and you are told and also brainwashed from birth to love DEAR LEADER, there is that. Like having no choice in the matter, and even having to love DEAR LEADER when some of your own family members have starved to death. Just reading Jasper's "Hungry Ghosts" of Mao's famine which wiped out 9 million in one area of China, and how through enough propaganda, people carried on, despite having to feast on family members to survive the winter, (HUGE problem that is often not reported, but his details and sources are quite thorough), and really, this is the same thing. Moral: People can be convinced of about anything. Like Donald Trump is a great President. LOL.

Candidate for most ridiculous comment of the week.

North Korea didn't do it, Trump did it. Trump legitimised Kim 100%.

As if this wouldn't have happened if Trump had refused to meet Kim.

His father held absolute power and his grandfather before that without any help from Trump.

The leader of the most powerful country in the world is seen in pictures and video meeting coming to their country and meeting their dear leader.

Some used to think the claims made by the Dear Leaders were just boasts, but now they’ve seen proof. The president of the USA met with the boss. The boss is legit.

Well done trump.

We should all aspire to the lofty heights of DPRK society.

Hmmm.

It likely wouldn't have....

But both much older when conferred - Donnie's Summits and fawning no doubt helped....

It called aiding and abetting the enemy....

Nooooo, it's called trying to avoid a devastating war.

If they weren’t embargoed by the US it wouldn’t have been as devastating. Americans put sanctions and embargoes on countries then say, look their people are hungry and dying.

Sure, as Kim makes more nukes and more accurate missiles....

Amateur hour....
