The one that supposedly collapsed and is useless?

A good step forward would be to let SK and NK travel and trade between them IE open up the boarders!

Looks like the N Koreans are finally getting with the program, thanks mainly to Donald Trump, who threatened to annihilate them if they don't.

Gives a large hint about the recent conversation between Kim and Xi in Beijing. Punggye-ri's only 100 kilometers from the Chinese border. This decision has zero to do with Trump.

Kim Jong Un is just buying time until he can build a new test site. There is no way this man will spend the entire wealth of his country developing nukes only to give them up.

Kim Jong Un is playing the world for fools.

CrazyJoe: same here. This sudden 180 reversal is rather strange.

This is all about just the testing

Kim believes they already have enough knowledge of the nukes that testing is no longer a necessity

(Though they could always reopen more test sites in the future)

They also didn't say they'd stop their intercontinental missile program

If they do already have enough knowledge about nukes, then all they need is just the intercontinental missile program that delivers those nukes globally

But let's not forget that North Korea had already violated and lied about (which NK even admitted to) the Agreed Framework with the US from the 1990s, so that's why people are right to be skeptical

Kim should look at Vietnam, Syria, Iraq and Libya before giving up their nuclear program.

did anyone imagine a few months ago a revocation of Aung San Suu Kyi's Nobel Peace Prize while DT might receive one for his threats of nuclear annihilation?

So, Crazy, what you're saying is all these sanctions and diplomacy is never going to work and the N Korean regime will have to be taken out militarily - war is necessary. Hundreds of thousands or millions must be killed/maimed/sickened.

Oh my...

Op-ed: Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize

Complete BS. He is a very young leader that wants all the bells and whistles only capitalism can bring.

There will be no turning back. It is even possible that the U.S. completely rebuilds NK with the help of SK and turn it into a very vibrant and prosperous part of the world. Let's not forget after WW2 the U.S. helped to rebuild Japan into the economic power that it is today.

And I might add, if President Trump pulls this off, he most definitely deserves to receive the Noble peace prize.

It's quite possible the modern world will be complaining in 10 to 15 years over their $dollar store items that "everything is made in North Korea".

Trump should get the Noble peace award. His hardline rhetoric and sanctions forced Kim to backpedal his nuclear and missile programs and take steps toward peace between the two Koreas. Let's hope Kim follow through earnestly.

No, Trump won't get the Nobel Peace Award. The leftist award committee will see that Kim Jong-Un gets the award. Remember the collapse of the Soviet Union, fall of Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War? That was the result of Reagan's hardline foreign policy and strong military power. Yet Reagan didn't get the Nobel Peace Award for those achievements; Gorbachev did.

Then there's the peace award to Obama.....which he did nothing to deserve.
