This probably indicates that any agreement that is made with North Korea in the near future is worthless. With a system that kills citizens at the leaders whim, without fair trials, on made up charges.

That does not mean efforts to denuclearize North Korea should stop. It just means dont be taken in by words. Only actions of handing over all nukes and materials can be trusted.

Yep that article is typical hyperbole as in the false story about how an official was fed alive to dogs, or that everyone was forced to cut their hair the same as Kim Jong-un.

And a follow-up article with some political speculation added, suggesting that if the rumors are true that might explain why no hint of further negotiations has come from the North recently.

The reason the rumour is accepted so easily is because it fits in so well with the previous behaviour of the fratricidal fat boy.

Agreed good reporting should indicate this is as yet unproved (but it is hard to get clear, evidenced information from North Paranoid Korea) but whether it is true or not it serves to remind us of the true nature of that vicious regime and its proclivity to lie without qualm, and to treat it accordingly.

And who guarantees Kim regime's security afterward?

The issue at hand for Kim is that he faces an insanely powerful military called the ROK Army, which has more firepower than the Imperial Japanese Army of 1941, and the only foreign military in the world given the wartime command of US troops.

Faced with an army down south that could sack Pyongyang in a week if wanted to, Kim's only deterrent for invasion is the nukes. This is why Kim is so obsessed with nukes, because only nukes will guarantee his regime's survival.

What is puzzling is why the Korean Public does not take the little Wizzle Kim out and hang him?

She is now one of the most powerful women in North Korea.
