Want to see Russia freak out? Start sending NATO equipment and troops to Ukraine. I'm afraid that's the only way to stop Russia in their tracks. Anything less and Russia will chip, chip, chip, away like tiny termites for the next 20 yrs destroying parts of Europe.

Bring in the exterminators. Force Russia to choose - nukes or not. Only then will cooler heads inside Russia finally end this.

Are AWACS still on the 707 platform? Ouch.

These “eyes in the sky” do not fly into Ukraine or Russia, but can see up to 400 kilometers (250 miles) across borders.

IMO, Russia will not attack any NATO nation. They have proven to the world that they can't even carry on a conflict in Ukraine with any real progress.

I think if this does indeed happen - that it will have been by some kind of accident.

NATO guidelines are more disciplined

They don't buzz navy ships, fly too close to planes they're shadowing (unlike China), or barrel-roll another fighter jet (unlike Russia)

Leave those shenanigans to Hollywood movies like Top Gun. Don't risk a war in real life by doing something stupid
