Sounds like a giant prison surrounded by settlements. I sure he will then move all Israeli Arabs out of Israel and put them in there next.

Why don't they do what South Africa did? Too democratic maybe?

Netanyahu endorses demilitarized Palestinian state

Of course he would say that, a no arms Palestinian state makes an easier target and keeps his party in power.

New election coming, attack Palestine.

The press is critical of your party, attack Palestine.

Come on what is he going to say, he wants an armed Palestine?LOL He is putting a demand on the table that he knows the Palestinians will never accept.

Could you imagine what the Israelis would have said if the Arab nations tried to force the same restrictions on them in 1948? They would have never gone for it, why should the Palestinians even consider it?

Israel is a country run by dogs.

Give up all weapons. Like Palestine was the only attacker. Palestine has lost plenty of citizens to Israel's weapons. And they want Palestine to give up all arms. Please....

Palestinian refugees must give up the goal of returning to Israel.

Sweep citizens under the carpet and refuse to consider that they have been mistreated. Where are these mistreated Jews at. The ones who complain that their anchesters were mistreated and the Israeli Jews want to pull this.

...said refugees would not be negotiated and that settlements would remain.”

Netanyahu just told Obama with that statement, "kiss my ass."

Enough B/B is enough. Pull that $30Million grant that bush gave Israel. There's still 9 years of it. Save $27Million. < :-)

Why don't they do what South Africa did? Too democratic maybe?" Why should they? for a people that usually reject democracy now want it cause they now they can tip the scales.

Could you imagine what the Israelis would have said if the Arab nations tried to force the same restrictions on them in 1948? " If you read up on it, you'll learn no one in that area wanted to give the jews independence. From day one of its dependence, the Muslim led groups attacked and attacked.

as for the pre-1967 borders, the next time you let yourself get talked into allowing an invasion to be spring boarded from your land, think about the consequences.

I personally think they should take what they can get now and once BB is out of office, push for an expansion later on. But, how can one argue that many here are asking Israel to help their enemies.

Netanyahu just told Obama with that statement, "kiss my ass."" You'd usually cheer any leader saying that to the US, now you don't like it....

The Palestinians should give up their weapons. They can't win a military battle with Israel, all they can do is strike to the point where Israel responds with overwhelming force. But by giving up their weapons they are forced into peaceful resistance, at which point Israel doesn't stand a chance. Palestinian weapons are the one release value Israel can use when international pressure starts to mount on them. Take that away and Israel's use of force is no longer an option.

Yeah. It's Israel's fault that in "Palestine" the average family has something like 6 children. Note also that the Left obediently never raises concerns about "the impact on the environment" this has.

The world should (must) demand a demilitarized Israel. After what they have done, there is absolutely no reason why the world should tolerate an armed Israel.

Adaydream, dogs are generally great animals, only the rabid ones behave that way.

The world should (must) demand a demilitarized Israel.

Do you really mean to say the US, Europe, a few Asian and Commonwealth nations - the civilized world - should demand on behalf of Israel's Mohammedan neighbors (of which only Lebanon has any semblance of a civil society) that democratic, secular, pluralistic Israel disarm while her Arab neighbors openly talk about her annihilation?

You funny.

...the civilized world - should demand on behalf of Israel's Mohammedan neighbors...

No, but in the name of common decency and humanity, it certainly should demand Israel be disarmed.

Zionism has run its course. No true Jew would should support Zionism. If I was American, I would never ever want to trus Nethanyahu. The ISraeli leader who proclaimed 9/11, good!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

sabi, you do know that if Israel would un-arm themselves, they would be destroyed!

Once Israel goes, do you think all those Muslim countries would throw down their weapons and sing happy ending songs?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Why does Israel have to help their enemies? They ought to just leave the UN and fight it out.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Zionism has run its course. No true Jew would should support Zionism" Thats more of an excuse than anything else. Face it, you don't like Jews having their own country - again!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

you do know that if Israel would un-arm themselves, they would be destroyed!

Like how Palestine was destroyed?

Once Israel goes, do you think all those Muslim countries would throw down their weapons and sing happy ending songs?

Once Israel goes (and it will), "those Muslim countries" would have less reasons to hate the west (the US in particular).

Face it, true Jews neither need nor want Israel to exist.

Where is Israel going to go?

Like how Palestine was destroyed?

They are (as you well know) completely different situations. If you do not support any kind of disappearance of countries, you clearly should not be supporting the destruction of one now either.

Face it, true Jews neither need nor want Israel to exist.

Face it, your past excuses for Nazi behaviour in WWII hardly give you any realistic position from which to make such a claim.

BB Netanyahu is disappointing again. However, his words are truly empty with regard to the settlement issue. I ask: How many settlements still exists in Gaza? How many in Sinai? That is how many will exist in Palestine.

BTW, although completely unrealistic (not too surprising coming from BB at this point), the wish for a demilitarized Palestinian state is not completely understandable when you consider that things have not gotten much better for Israel vis-a-vis the Palestinians since the Palestinians have been legally armed.

That is not to say Israel does not have it own heavy responsibilities, it is just to say that arms have not exactly made Palestine peaceful.

As to peace in the Middle East, I do not have the time to look up the interview, however the BBC had a great one with a Middle East analyst from Jordan who (I think correctly) said that peace between Israel and Palestine would in all likelihood not create much of a change elsewhere in the ME. Hopefully, this is not the case, however those that think it will affect Iran's attitude for example will probably be in for a very deep disappointment.

Sorry...that should have been:

Israel should recognize the right of the Palestinian State to exist, and offer to disarm, as it would like them to be.

Expecting either side to 'disarm' is fantasy.

It´s ALL Palestinian land. Give it back.

That is not true. You should know better. In fact, you probably do.

Palestine was a legitimate state

Not in modern times it was not. It was a mandate territory and part of the Ottoman Empire.

Israel and Palestine both have a right to exist. Sorry if that rains on your parade.

Lastly, George Galloway seems to be blinded by hate to the point that he supports the Syrian takeover of Lebanon and seems to agree with the fantasy that Jews backed Hitler. He sounds like a right nutter.

less out of the many doesn't make one feel any more assured. At least the Jews have the guts to fight back!

Once Israel goes (and it will)

Hahaha. Good one.

Don't give up your day job. Unless, you're a comedian. Then you SHOULD give it up.

One of those "Muslim countries" you referred to is gonna push the Israeli's too far one day. And when they let loose, most people like you are gonna remember fondly the "restraint" they displayed with the Palestinians last year.

The way I see it, there's 2 ways to look at the situation in Israel. 1) Israel is the homeland of the Jews and they have simply gone back to their original land, and 2) Israelis are the conquerers of the land that was occupied by the Palestinians. If you believe in scenario 2, then you must also admit that since time immemorial there have been people driven out of thier lands by invaders. Such is the nature of humanity. To suggest that Israel simply give the land back and wander the world in exile is absurd. If this is done, then what about the people the Palestinians drove out? Why stop there, give back all land everywhere to the original owners, if you can find them? According to some here, the Palestinians were conquered, like the Romans. IMO, They need to either move on or create a proper army, declare war and take the land back. What they are doing now is causing more harm to their people than good. They're not even hitting targets that matter, targets that would weaken or cripple the enemy's military capabilities. Night clubs, buses and wedding parties don't contain weapons, airplane hangars, artillery positions, or military barracks. Why doesn't Hamas target such places? Surely they know that by attacking thier enemy's military fortifications they might realize their goal of defeating Israel? Why do they seem so adverse to hitting targets that make sense from a military standpoint?

If the Palestinians disarmed they would gain substantial leverage over Israel to create real change in the area, including their own homeland. If Israel disarmed instead the Palestinians would try to kill them all.

See it for what it is. Another step in the philosophy of Israeli gradualism. Offer something you don't intend on doing, and make further encroachments. Perhaps one day all Jews will live there on this tiny bit of parched land. They don't know how many Moslems states in the future will have nuclear weapons or the ability to access them in need. One nuclear bomb and they will be like the dinosaurs. A former people visible in only history books. The Romans wiped out all 600,000 Jews in Palestine in 70AD because they pushed them too far. It left Palestine basically almost bereft of Jews for another 1900 years. You know what they say about history. There is something insane and suicidal going on here in their "zealous" strategy of a doctrinaire promised land. They thought the same in 1917 in Russia. But they will prove their Jewishness. We will all be able to say, they gave it there best "shot".

Sometimes you just gotta love the militant Palestinian's process for gaining "freedom":

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5ioi_0jtO9RjMwPNRoXNCndRPRq3gD98MH0SO0

4 Palestinians with explosives-laden horses killed

"GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) — Gaza militants equipped with explosives-laden horses approached the Israeli border early Monday, igniting a battle that left four gunmen dead, Israeli and Palestinian officials said."

Yep.....all you guys need are more horses and explosives and sooner or later you'll win this war.

Also from the article:

"Gaza is enclosed by a security fence. But the attack occurred near Nahal Oz, a crossing used to ship fuel into Gaza and a target of past militant attacks."

Yep... The love attacking that checkpoint. It's the one that delivers fuel into Gaza. The militants know if they attack it then Israel will stop fuel delivery until it's safe again. Sure, the Palestinian people will suffer, but man, you should see the headlines it creates when Israel stops the fuel.
