Netanyahu had better be careful when making such comparisons, because in many ways it is his regime that is similar to the Nazis, not the other way around.

What this statement conveniently ignores is that Isreal has in its power the ability to make peace with the Palestinians, which would defuse much of the anti-Israeli sentiment that Iran is stoking. But, they refuse to do so. Instead going in the opposite direction, and building more settlements, invading Gaza, putting an economic stranglehold on the West Bank, etc. So, IMO, it looks like Israel is just as intent on wiping out the Palestinians.

Ironically, you are being as hyperbolic as Netanyahu.
Actually, both Netanyahu and Hamas refuse to recognize and make peace with each other.
Short and Bitter
This is like blaming Jews in concentration camps for failing to make peace with the Nazis; a peace that would ensure they stay in the concentration camps and never be refunded for their lost possessions.
Indeed, its far easier to equate Zionists with Nazis than Iran. Look carefully at the word Ashkenazi. What are the last four letters? So many of these Zionists are from Germany, or have German ancestry, and you cannot deny that significant parts of the German character contributed to the character of the Nazis; things like a need for order and a feeling of superiority. Then you have the crimes of the fascist Irgun, and their leader, Menachim Begin actually rising to PM.

Actually, it is nothing like this. The Jews in the concentration camps did not shoot rockets at the Nazis and call for the destruction of Germany.
Now, let's hear you start up and say something like:
The Jews controlled the banks and wanted to take over the world, blah, blah blah...
? I can deny it. I love how you have attempted to weave Jews and the Nazis together. You realize you are making very little factual sense, right?
By the way, it seems you've changed your name again, huh? What was the matter with JJSullivan?

Wow! Someone got put on "Blast" jus now-

Actually, it is.

No, it is demonstrably not. Hamas has rejected the idea of peace since its inception which has certainly made Netanyahu's recent victory all the easier.
To be blunt: The population has increased in the occupied territories. The population in the death camps decreased.
To be sure, now that Netanyahu rejects a Palestinian state, he is now on the same footing as Hamas in my opinion.

Actually, it is.
And this only today's news.

Israel has nuclear weapons and means to deliver them anywhere in the middle east. Israel has top notch military intelligence and spies throughout the world as well as allies like the USA. If Iran launched a weapon against Israel, it would be knocked out of the sky just after liftoff. The whole Nazi thing is getting boring, how many times do we have to rehash what happened 70+ years ago. Many religions and cultures have been persecuted, enslaved, killed and wiped out long before the third Reich started their final solution but the media stays away from those facts, I wonder why?

FizzBit,
Since you seem to have some trouble understanding what the Holocaust was, here is a place for you to start to educate yourself:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Holocaust
Considering that you have posts above yours that clearly demonstrate that there actually are still people who do not understand what happened, it seems pretty clear that it does in fact still need to be rehashed.
Perhaps we could answer you if you were more specific?

Netanyahu is a hawk like no one else. I think he is far off track with playing the stale nazi card. Offensive too. Apparently he needs that rhetoric to convince the nation to keep supporting him.

Well said. All of it. Thanks.
