"Never retreat, never surrender ""...yeah...that'll help. If you view one side as lesser human.

Thousands demonstrating against Netanyahu in Israel....were these Palestinians, the police and military would use live fire.

Israel has lost it's closest allies .....and it's all Netanyahu and his cabinet of right wing nut jobs who are to blame.

Racist right wing settler colonial movement under an ideology of a fantasy religious narrative {God's people ...what a laugh }, in existence because mad cow crazies in the USA parliamentary system and their mad cow crazy hicksville supporters {the talking in tongues, snake handling brigades } who provide the weapons and finance to continue this abhorration of the human moral compass.

He hasn't lost his way !

He's going directly to hell for his war crimes against humanity

14 ( +21 / -7 )

Enough lip service criticism! Withdraw all funding of the genocide and ethnic cleansing immediately!

14 ( +21 / -7 )

Israel does distinguish between combatants and non-combatants though so your point is moot

and murders them either way.

13 ( +16 / -3 )

accused Netanyahu of hurting Israel

That's all Biden has to say? He should accuse them of hurting 31000 Gazans by slaughtering them in cold blood!

12 ( +18 / -6 )

he never snaps back when getting hand outs from the US...

12 ( +15 / -3 )

“We’re not a banana republic," he said. “The people will choose when they will have elections, and who they’ll elect, and it’s not something that will be foisted on us.”

Good if so don't take billions from US hard working tax payer, don't use lobbyist to get what you want from US leader.

Hamas does not distinguish terrorists from civilians so why should Israel? - Jik7Y

Because not distinguishing between combatants and non-combatants is against international law and considered a terrorist act. But if you're comfortable admitting that Israel is a terrorist state then I guess it isn't a problem.

12 ( +14 / -2 )

Good, never retreat, never surrender! - bass4funk

Words appropriate for those engaged in resistance. Not for those engaged in illegal occupation and genocidal assaults.

11 ( +13 / -2 )

Israel never would have called for a new U.S. election after the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001

Not the best example, Bibi. 9-11 was followed by a totally unjustified invasion of Iraq.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

Its not murder

if they’re non combatants it absolutely is murder.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Its not that much considering 1/3 of the 31,000 killed are Hamas and Hamas regularly uses civilians as human shields

"Human shields" is just an excuse used by the stronger belligerent to give them carte blanche over their offensive.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Some commentators opining on "International Law "could write what they actually know on the back of a postage stamp with a thick felt pen.

Yes...International law has a concept called ""proportionality of response ". It deals clearly with deaths of non combatants and the military gains from taking such action.

Countries {except Israel } usually wouldn't destroy a hospital and 500 patients just to kill a soldier getting surgery there.

Only racists can continue to give fascist Israel a free pass in its genocide of Arab Palestinians.

US lawmakers have every right to way what Schumer said, considering the fact that Israel would not exist were it not for the all the US support, and that Netanyahu has for years been nurturing Hamas and scheming to pit the US against Iran. And he's right - Netanyahu must go. It's the only way to take steps toward a two-state solution, which is the only way out of this mess. And the US must change the way it supports Israel - no more blank checks. Under Netanyahu, Israel has lost its way.

I think...

I would never have guessed. I thought you just parroted Likud propaganda.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Lost His Way??

Netanyahu is a Loose Cannon, a Clear and Present Danger to Israel, the U.S., and the middle east.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

You can just tell that Netanyahu is going to do something so stupid in the coming weeks.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

Some civilians killed in Gaza have been the result of being used as human shields. Not all. As was said above -

"Human shields" is just an excuse used by the stronger belligerent to give them carte blanche over their offensive.

And no, merely taking into consideration whether someone is civilian or not is not the only bearing on whether it’s a war crime or not. The bearing on whether it’s a war crime or not is whether they are killing those that they have already deemed to be civilians or not.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Bibi enabled Hamas, then took his eye off the ball and failed to protect Israel.

But he’s made up for it by killing tens of thousands of civilians.

In reality most Israeli citizens want him gone and he’s clinging to power so as not to face criminal liability in other matters.

Good riddance to him.

That's all Biden has to say? He should accuse them of hurting 31000 Gazans by slaughtering them in cold blood!

Tell him with your vote in November.

Israel does distinguish between combatants and non-combatants though so your point is moot

Do they? There seem to be a loooooooot of dead civilians in Gaza.

5 ( +9 / -4 )

The protestors were calling for Netanyahu to stand down.

Israel does distinguish between combatants and non-combatants though so your point is moot

A lot of the more rabid pro-Israel zealots are saying Israel shouldn't do that. Do you agree?

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Semites slaughtering Semites but If you condemn the atrocities you are an antisemite. Lying, deceitful treacherous, conniving, parasitic anti humans.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

"Lost his way" on Gaza? Like, "over the top"? Well, as long as Netanyahu doesn't lose his way to the Hague and to solitary for the rest of his life.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu railed Sunday against growing criticism from top ally the United States against his leadership amid the devastating war with Hamas, describing calls for a new election as “wholly inappropriate.”

I am shocked Genocide Master Netanyahu did not call Mr. Schumer an " anti-Semitic " the usual line used when anyone questions the Zionists actions.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Of course not. I didn’t say every, did I? But what Israel is doing to the Palestinians is not that far removed from what happened in World War 2. Where non combatants were murdered on a massive scale. If you know that the number of dead innocents outnumbers the guilty two to one, and you’re not doing anything to reduce it, then it’s murder.

"“We will operate in Rafah. This will take several weeks, and it will happen,” he said.""

Hamas fighters will be long gone before the IOF enters Rafah, they are already returning and fighting back in the north and the middle of Gaza. Netanyahu has FAILED every step of the way.

He's busy pushing entire Muslim world away from West

That's really great for the whole future of international relations, isn't it.

in existence because mad cow crazies in the USA parliamentary system

The U.S. doesn’t have a parliamentary system

0 ( +6 / -6 )

There are supporters for Israel in the UK and the US.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

fighting that has killed more than 31,000 Palestinians

Pretty small number considering 432,093 civilians have died violent deaths as a direct result of the U.S. post-9/11 wars.

-3 ( +7 / -10 )

...This for Bone...Both the US system and the UK {Commonwealth } system of government have a House of Representatives and a Senate.

The two houses are elected by the people, who are called voters.

Numbers in each house are determined by populations in the various states , in both systems.

You can call a horse a "gee gee " if you want but they are still the same equine.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Not “U.S. criticism”. Chuck Schumer criticism is what Netanyahu faced. The Democrats had an Israeli opposition party to the United States and quickly learned that the war against Hamas was not Netanyahu’s policy but Israeli policy, and wee left with eggs on their faces.

The protests in Israel have been about the release of the hostages, not the war against terrorism, which said war could end today if Hamas surrendered.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Hamas under-estimated Israeli brutal response.

Hamas is the purveyor of its own downfall.

Sacrificing the Palestinian people with it.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

There isn't any future possibility of a recognisable Palestinian state in Gaza, it is a pile of rubble.

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is tad late in the day for waving the big stick.

That time has come and gone.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is fully confident in the knowledge the US people, congress will fully back support his administration without any doubt continue to do so.

Israel is strategically tactically pivotal to future US middle eastern foreign policy initiatives

.With Hamas forced into surrender, Hezbollah will come under the microscope of constant military bombardment.

7th of October 2023 massacre provided Israel a means to create the change necessary to annihilate its enemy.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

If HAMAS shows no real remorse then Israel should go all in. Schumer should keep quiet or he will lose his next election, which won't be a bad thing though.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Seems to me that Chuck Schumer, President Biden, and others should be calling on Hamas to immediately release the remaining hostages and completely surrender. Then Israel wouldn't have to continue targeting the legitimate targets where Hamas puts their own Palestinians up as human shields. Hamas has the power to end this war. That's where people should be called for. I won't be holding my breath for this common sense solution to take place, though.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

PM Netanyahu is certainly a talented man of conviction, even in face of global backlash. He's totally isolated, and yet no sign of flinching. He's busy pushing entire Muslim world away from West and helping Trump as result.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

I have this question to the Palestine supporters and so far never received an answer.

i saw every Palestinian in Gaza celebrating on Oct 8th. Not one critical Palestinian voice that day.

has ever one Palestinian apologized for Oct 7th ?

Israel was attacked and it answers. Very hard, without mercy. I can only say that if my wife or daughter was taped or killed I would be in the first line.

I am not Israeli nor Jewish.

I see Israeli demonstrate and protest against Israeli actions. I have not seen one Palestinian demonstrate against Hamas.

I have not heard one Palestinian say the hostages must be returned to their families.

so. I support Israel.

-8 ( +2 / -10 )

I would never have guessed. I thought you just parroted Likud propaganda.

No, I just follow rationality and morality.

The protests in Israel have been about the release of the hostages, not the war against terrorism, which said war could end today if Hamas surrendered.

This is the basic fact overlooked by zealous antisemites.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

if they’re non combatants it absolutely is murder.

No. So every civilian that has been killed in war has been murder?

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

Of course not. I didn’t say every, did I? But what Israel is doing to the Palestinians is not that far removed from what happened in World War 2. Where non combatants were murdered on a massive scale. If you know that the number of dead innocents outnumbers the guilty two to one, and you’re not doing anything to reduce it, then it’s murder.

The ratio of civilian deaths to combatant deaths has no bearing on whether or not it’s murder according to any international court. Civilian deaths are also at the rate they are because Hamas discourages civilians from leaving and regularly operates out of civilian areas which classified them as human shields. According to international law the deaths of human shields are the sole responsibility of those using them.. The only bearing on whether or not it’s a war crime or not is whether or not civilian deaths are being taken into consideration during military operations.

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

Then they are awfully bad at it, to say it mildly.

How do they compare with what has been taking place in Syria or Yemen?

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

"Human shields" is just an excuse used by the stronger belligerent to give them carte blanche over their offensive.

27 European countries disagree:

EU nations condemn Hamas for what they describe as use of hospitals, civilians as 'human shields'

https://news.yahoo.com/eu-nations-condemn-hamas-describe-095402289.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

The Gaza Health Ministry said at least 31,645 Palestinians have been killed in the war. The ministry doesn’t differentiate between civilians and combatants in its count, but says women and children make up two-thirds of the dead.

About half that number is made up of terrorists and includes children who are part of Hamas, so blame their parents for sending their children to Hamas summer camps.

This is such a small number of casualties compared to the 1 Million civilians killed in Syria and Yemen in Arab on Arab acts, so obviously racism is at the core of so much negative criticism being put upon Israel--the only democratic country in the Middle East that is defending itself humanely against terrorism.

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

A lot of the more rabid pro-Israel zealots are saying Israel shouldn't do that. Do you agree?

I think there are relatively few civilians in Gaza. 90% of homes searched by the IDF were keeping munitions and weapons for use by Hamas. Gaza children attend Hamas summer camps, and many children under age 18 participated in 10/7, and are fighting the IDF right now.

So, I am totally fine with Israel continuing with what they are doing.

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

“We will operate in Rafah. This will take several weeks, and it will happen,”

This is reassuring that Israel is going forward with its plan to destroy the terrorists so that never again will they be able to commit mass murder against Israel again.

Countries {except Israel } usually wouldn't destroy a hospital and 500 patients just to kill a soldier getting surgery there.

You are right about this. No country destroyed such hospital. An Arab terrorist group did.

Keep up the good fight Israel!

31,000 Palestinians, according to local health officials.

Hamas does not distinguish terrorists from civilians so why should Israel?

and murders them either way.
