The ex-lawyer also testified to Congress that Trump and his company artificially inflated and devalued the worth of their assets to both obtain bank loans and reduce their taxes.

Donald lies about everything from his height and weight to the height of his buildings, to the projected path of hurricanes. I be shocked if Donald didn't lie about his assets/property values.

How nice of New York lawyers to help Donald fulfill another election promise. Next thing they'll be getting Mexico to pay for walls and stuff.

Anyone who spends four years and millions of dollars paying attorneys to keep his tax returns from being turned over to a District Attorney has most definitely done something wrong. I look forward to seeing what it is.

The single most enjoyable headline I've read in ages. Delicious!

Trump's 'too big to fall'. At worst he'll get some fines, which he'll expect his supporters around the globe to pay for him. Conmale through and through. Out of these court cases, the Americans who trusted 'established' business people like Trump and admired their wealth should be able to see how much corruption there is among that 'establishment'. And I thought 'patriots' loved their country. If they do, why would they cheat on taxes?

U.S. presidents are not required by law to release details of their personal finances

Come on Democrats. Fix this. Make it campaign law ASAP.

While you are at it, force all Congress and Presidents to place their investments into blind trusts that can only hold US investments. I want our representative betting on America.

Honest non-partisan question to everyone out there, is there anyone who honestly thinks he's NOT guilty of tax evasion, and that they won't find anything in his tax records?

All politics aside, just looking at the character of the man, I can't imagine a single scenario where he hasn't illegally evaded taxes.

They don't care, it "doesn't matter" because he'll never go to jail. I've asked the same question before and I've yet to get an actual answer.

Let's not forget that Trump is a confirmed scammer from his university to his charities. If they find nothing it would be a surprise since he's so used to scamming people.

Exactly. If he had nothing to hide, he wouldn't have been hiding it.

Four people didn't like your truth.

Teflon Don is about to get his coating peeled off by the Manhattan and SDNY Prosecutors...

The Prosecutor that helped put away John Gotti Jr and the Gambino crime family has been brought back to assist in the Trump Org insurance and tax fraud investigation.....oh my.....

https://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/ny-gotti-prosecutor-manhattan-da-trump-probe-20210219-3fom2mx7g5bwdayit5dxg4hqna-story.html

And that's just the proverbial tip of the iceberg in terms of his criminal and civil legal jeopardy...

The whole Trump crime family will soon be going down - expect them to start turning on each other soon...

Trump: "Don Jr ran the whole scam...he the one that's guilty - Ivanka and I are innocent - and Eric is too stupid"...

Have a feeling his taxes are just a means to a greater end: figuring out where he got his money. It's no coincidence this coincides with the Deutsche Bank investigation: small German bank gets influx of funds from Russia as a conduit to Trump. Not an unthinkable scenario.

Trump repeatedly said he would release them pending an audit but ultimately broke with the tradition.

donald lied yet gain, yesterday's news.

I think we can start the countdown now, donald to get charged, try to blame it on others, found guilty and prison!!!!

Boy the next few years are going to be fun!!!!

Can any of the righties tell us why he would be hiding his taxes if he had nothing to hide?

The Dems just can’t give up on going after him. Maybe the GOP can go after Clinton again. There is the pedophile island angle. The legacy of the Biden administration will be escalating polarization and hate. Picking up right where Obama/Biden left off.

Uproot that tree, turn it upside down and shake it vigorously.

The "party of law and order", once again arguing about how the law should not be enforced so as to keep order.

Has there ever been anything these people weren't hypocritical about?

3 ( +8 / -5 )

OK. Let's see what serious misconduct they reveal. Personally after 5 years of him being constantly under review and investigation and public allegation I will be surprised if there is anything serious in these.

lolz Its called accountability. I know Republicans hate it, but its a good thing. Prosecutors would have had his taxes years ago, except Donald refused to fork them over. Blame Trump, not prosecutors, for dragging this whole thing out.

Maybe the GOP can go after Clinton again.

If the Clintons did something wrong, then sure, but after almost a dozen Benghazi hearings, it seems there is nothing there.

The legacy of the Biden administration will be escalating polarization and hate

hahaha What is Trump's legacy, unity and love? 400,000 dead Americans, or 3 million fewer jobs?

The "party of law and order", once again arguing about how the law should not be enforced so as to keep order.

Neither party seems to care much about law and order over these past four years.

So now the democrats don't care about law and order, when just one post ago, you were complaining that they were exercising law and order on Trump.

I mean, were you trying to prove my point about you guys not having anything that you haven't been hypocritical about? Because you couldn't have done it better in two posts in a row.

Lock him up!

If the IRS haven't made a fuss it seems unlikely that the prosecutors will find anything material. more likely they will leak stuff to embarrass him. My guess is he has had tax lawyers and accountants do his returns and so the chances of there being major discrepancies are pretty slim. We shall see.

By the time the DOJ and state DAs have dealt with DJT's long list of criminal shenanigans it should put paid to all the Trumpster pipe dreams of a "Second Coming". The GOP is already pedaling the air over the cliff and by 2024 the headless Republicans will be running in circles like the proverbial chicken.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Congratulations! Now I hope the Dems can go through them, pick what they like, scream bloody murder and then give us all the rest that we so desperately need.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

donald’s taxes are just one of his problems, bankruptcies, loans being called etc etc, prison probably is the best option for him!!!

Lol The IRS audits tax returns, they've got nothing to do with bank fraud or wire fraud. They haven't investigated Donald's loan applications like Vance is going to.

Yeah, he was trying to hide his tax returns because there was nothing to hide, right? Because that makes sense right?
