That rumour around her fiance's infidelity with the nanny is doing the rounds - unsure of course if there is any truth to it.

Well. That nanny has kept millions of people safe from the wrath of covid-19. I think many people are thinking she has done a pretty good job. By the way, I am no fan of her. In my own opinions she is just another politician. All politicians are hypocrites, it is just some are worst than the others.

I see the media driven court is in full swing here.
If you think Clark acted on his own, you're mistaken. Ardern's had a rough week, Clark is just pressure relief.

This came about 3 months too late. This clown should have gone when he was caught mountain biking during the lockdown. Weak leadership from Jacinda Ardern.

Just another minister or "health official" who made a bunch of rules but didn't think they should abide by them. And the jury is still out on whether these lockdowns and other draconian restrictions have made all that much difference. Once the dust settles we will be able to look at the evidence but until then seems like we will follow the current model and we will continue to see our rulers making a mockery of them.,

Some of them haven't. Some have dealt with it very efficiently.
New Zealand is considered to be one of them.

Where you looking, there is none in that govt , this guy didnt resign to take responsibility !
He was irresposnible riding his mountian bike during lock down among other things, he was making his PM and the govt look bad and was pressured to leave , there is much more to it than what is seen here.
Listening to the radio from NZ gives a much broader view of things down there.

Wow, so the health minister in the only country in the world to have completely defeated the virus is resigning to take responsibility for blunders related to the response?
Would be nice if maybe the leaders of countries who aren't doing quite so well in handling it would feel a similar sense of responsibility. Or actually it would be nice if they even displayed a sense of 1/100th that level of responsibility.

Good riddance!
