Her Deputy PM today

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters has launched the party's election campaign by highlighting the inexperience of its coalition partner and the Greens.

"We have opposed woke pixie dust," he told party faithful at today's campaign launch and annual conference in Auckland.

"Whilst the rest have been politically correct, we've set out to correct politics. We've been an accelerator for good ideas and a handbrake for bad ones."

Peters said this election campaign would show how important NZ First was to the country.

He took aim at the lack of experience of both Labour and the Greens.

"Questions over competency or controversy have never been an issue for us."

Peters took credit for shutting down Labour's plan for light rail in Auckland "because sunlight and fiscal sense demanded it".

He also trashed the Greens' tax policy as "totally out of touch".

"We've used common sense to hold Labour and the Greens to account," he said

Without NZ first adern would not have been PM .

Jacinda Ardern's government has been an abject failure on so many levels, and these failures have been mitigated by some luck when it comes to dealing with COVID-19.

She was already extremely popular before covid.

sorry to destroy your narrative. But gotta keep it real.

Crusher will do a much better job and I will definitely be voting National in September. You will be surprised how many people in New Zealand do not like Ardern and her socialist government.

The only people voting against Ardern are pro-china, probably bought a few investment properties recently.

The lady is a full on attack force. Snide, Dangerious, A professional Politician.

A bender of rules, a polished liar. A bit like Mr Kims sister. lol

jimizo take what ever you like 7/2 what ever you want, I am not a bookie though just a kiwi who want to rid its country of the blight and the corrupt low life mental out of its head leader they have now.

To be honest, I’m not particularly interested in what you want. I’m interested in your prediction that Labour will lose. I like to gamble on elections, and given your belief that the opinions of your family and friends trump the polls and the bookies, I’m very interested in 7/2. You obviously know more about NZ politics than I do.

Was your prediction from the head or the heart? It sounds like you are backing off it here.

Sheesh i would take a one legged paper hanger from akansas right now over adern, at least the one legged paper hanger wouldnt be implementing the UN agenda on a unsuspecting nation of brainwashed sheep following a horse.

Quite frankly, National don’t have a chance. It’s a shame really but if Collins does hold Ardern to account then in opposition it might be a good thing. If they go for the dirty politics games that people got so tired of in previous elections then they’ll get absolutely nowhere. The dirty politics is what Labour tried to do to National and John Key for so long and it failed every time, but we aren’t seeing any of that now... I could be wrong but Labour isn’t really likely to lose.

You want to know how I know this, ask my sisters my brothers my sons my daughters the mother of my children her parents her brothers her sisters my friends so and so forth. First hand knowledge is priceless not the tripe dealt up from the media you listening to or reading

You predicted Ardern’s party will lose in the next election.

We’ll see if the opinions of your friends and family are better guides soon enough. The polls and bookies say otherwise. Labour have a double digit lead according to the polls and the bookies have Labour at 1/6 to win.

Thanks for the input though. Do you think I should take the 7/2 on offer for the opposition?

Anything is better than what they have there now, seriously , the thing is she has brain washed most of the population with her hand outs and the covid scam so they think oh adern is their mother duck, when in fact she is the mother but sounds like duck.

Last decent leader of National was Bill English. He was just too much of a nice guy. Not a Labour fan or for that matter an Ardern fan but I don’t trust Judith one bit. Will be a lot more pain with her at the helm.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

There is a reason she was passed over previously. She has the charisma of a bulldozer. Third time not likely to be lucky. But how cool is it having to smart caoable women vying for the leadership of their nation?

Kia kahe Aotearoa!

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Is she hard at all on China? The National Party is in cahoots with the Chinese govt to sell out NZ for a few dollars more.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Good to see some have some idea about things, kyronstavic knows what way is up.

Trouble with Crusher Collins is she might not be able to contain herself long enough to move adern on without actually crushing her.

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

Game on. This just got interesting!

Ardern is only PM by the grace of Winston Peters. If he just had the sense to put his country before his own political ambitions, NZ wouldn't even have this virtue-signaller-in-chief in power.

Don't know much about this "Crusher," but she couldn't be worse than Ardern.

-12 ( +4 / -16 )

Many hope she actually lives up to her Knick Name and does Crush Adern and her hard left govt who are instituting the UN agenda 21 and 2030.

Uh yeah, totally. I would hate to be living in New Zealand right now under the evil rule of the only world leader competent enough to have actually defeated the pandemic. Especially if she was in favor of instituting the dreaded "UN agenda", which sounds terrifying.

13 ( +18 / -5 )

Is that her on the right in the pink cardigan ?

Crusher is the New Zealand Donald Trump but nastier. She is beating Ardern in this preferred leader poll right now 54-46 https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/politics/2020/07/poll-who-would-you-prefer-as-prime-minister-judith-collins-or-jacinda-ardern.html?fbclid=IwAR1-mamOyqOQ0DwvCjpQHULKNFZvKK094PhwmRmqe2GdoLeMrnC1gmJaFlg

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

She might be a leader, but the bar is high, and the voting system is actually reflecting what the voters want. That's got to hurt. Love NZ. Always ahead of everyone.
