they have more cases of omicron arrivals from overseas than community cases of delta.

You have to give it to the NZ admin. Flexible in dealing with the pandemic response, a hard lockdown while supporting the populace, and then using the latest scientific data to modulate their latest responses. Unlike other countries responses motivated by protecting entrenched economic interests or political factions.

No, that is still false even if you repeat it, numbers of influenza patients demonstrate the measures that are barely enough to control COVID did all but exterminate influenza cases, COVID is a much greater risk for all age groups than Influenza.
