...people tend to follow their leaders.

A sad but true observation that explains much that is wrong with this world led by fools and knaves, which is why rather than “Say Nope to Dope”, people should become more woke and organize to "Say Nope to Dopes", those who block to path to freedom of thought and human rights with their oppressive drug laws.

Cannabis use is just like drinking, except there's no hangover and nobody ever dies from an overdose. If this passes, the stock play is for all the rolling paper and snack companies.

Euthanasia is something I wish we could have done for my father. Instead, we got to watch him slowly die and use morphine to manage the pain for the last 3 months of his life. 6-months before that, he had decided to die and refused any more medical treatments after months of surgeries, radiation, and chemotherapy. We treat our pets better than we were legally allowed to treat my father.

I hope both referendums pass.

The only people left opposing marijuana legalization are the sheep who drink the propaganda koolade they’ve been fed, without bothering to check if it’s true.

When Canada legalized it, and went on to make money and not fall apart as a country, it proved that anyone who thinks there is something wrong with it, it destroyed the narrative.

I've seen too many people let their whole lives revolve around the next drink or the next doobie to be enthusiastic about either. Both are highly destructive. Both get people killed not through overdoses but by industrial or driving mistakes while drunk or high. I guess I see no need for anyone to get high. I won't even use some pain meds after a surgery because I don't like how they fog my brain and degrade my situational awareness. But some are weaklings who will live their lives for their favorite addiction. Job security for me!

They're hardly comparable. That's old school outdated thinking. Look at Canada where it's socially acceptable - lawyers, police, all levels of society are enjoying it.

Comments like this are never made by anyone who has had much contact with marijuana, and are filling in the blanks with the propaganda they've been raised upon.
