While i'm certainly not a supporter of Mr. Trump or anything Republican, people need to read how the US Constitution defines treason. The term treason is thrown around wildly by all and sundry without it appears any understanding of what treason is defined as under the US Constitution. It is, I believe, the only crime directly addressed by the US Constitution so it was an important enough thing that the founders of the US felt compelled to define and limit what can and cannot be charged as treason under US law. The founders had good reason to do so, to prevent the abuse of the term to punish political opponents.

Article III, Section 3:

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted."

In the fullness of time Mr. Trump may be accused and perhaps even convicted of many things but treason is not one of them. The same is true for all of the many people Mr. Trump and many of his acolytes have accused of committing treason.

Why is it that disgruntled family members of powerful people push so hard to get attention? If you’re a Trump hater, you like what this woman has to say, if you’re a supporter, you just shrug your shoulders and say, whatever and laugh it all off.

One can already hear the raucous "scree-scree-scree" from Republicans as they sharpen their blades to a fine edge, in preparation for going after President Joe Biden. This is what happens in America with every change of administration. Once a new chief executive has been inaugurated, the knives (and sometimes the votes for impeachment) quickly come out. Complaining viciously about the party in power, by people whose party has been voted out of power, is American as apple pie, and 2020 will be no different from previous times.

President Donald Trump’s niece says her uncle is “criminal, cruel and traitorous” and belongs in prison after he leaves the White House.

Which is where he, and his crime family cabal, will all be....very soon.....

They might as well build a new wing at Rikers Island and name it Trump Tower East...
