I have long wanted to visit Myanmar, especially P/Bagan, but doubt I ever I will because I do not want to see another penny go to this corrupt regime running the country. I never want to visit China nor Hong Kong again, for similar reasons, same with Turkey , the UAE, Texas and Florida.

Imagine, the same US general, Smedley D Butler, after fighting so many wars, conflicts and campaigns, connected the dots, and published an Edda titled “War is a Racket”. Very interesting to read it. In essence he stated that the US waged wars for the benefit of Wall Street bankers, big oil, sugar cane industry, energy companies, etc. In a differet documental by Bill Still in “The Money Masters”, he pretty much emphasizes the same concepts Gen Butler mentioned in his essay. the positive thing about Burma, is that it is mostly young people, and their are stacks of resources. There is still is hope for the future.

Target the leadership - senior military and the rich people who back them.

It's tough to kill a lot of soldiers when they outgun you, and they will slaughter men, women and children in response. It's messy, wasteful and pointless.

Target the leaders. Silently build your capability to attack, moving people into suitable positions of trust and access. Wait for whenever they are vulnerable and then take them out.

There has no 'peace' in Myanmar ever since that totalitarian junta took over in 1962. Students resisted, universities were shut down and protestors were murdered by the Tatmadaw. They established the 'Burmese Way to Socialism' and set up a youth corps to instill their ideology crap into the children. A bigtime financial crisis occured in 1988, and the pro-democracy 8888 uprising was smashed by an internal coup within the Tatmadaw. This time it was the 'SLORC' regime, and it was even more oppressive than ever. Later they 'became' the 'SPDP' (oh, whatever) with the Tatmadaw still in control. Even after ASSK assumed a role in gov't., she sold herself out, collaborated and denied that the Tatmadaw was committing a genocide on the Rohignya. And those other ethnic internal wars continued as well. Now the Tatmadaw did some 'woodshedding' again, 'purified' the regime and dropped her like a rock.

It's the same damn thing, the Tatmadaw has always been in charge and until the Myanmarians of all ethnicities UNITE and overthrow these pukes, nothing will change. Nothing has changed there, except the regime names.

Myanmar keeps on waging internal wars against minorities who speak languages they don't like. And now that the Tatmadaw has stopped the pretense, it's obvious that nothing has really changed there. After all, ASSK openly denied and supported the Rohingya genocide. Sell your soul to devils like the Tatmadaw, you get burned. Guaranteed.

My allegiance is to the truth. It doesn't matter what country it is. No country is perfect, but making outright lies and starting wars just to make money is not morally right. Innocent people are the casualty, never the politicians. We can see this in Ukraine. USA promised Russia NATO would not expand, even during talks with Gorbachev before the SU's collapse. Then USA started stirring up trouble in the 1990s, and now we see them supporting neo-Nazis in Ukraine (no, don't rely on MSM for that info). It's funny how USA supported (or even encouraged?) US agents and funding in Myanmar, Thailand, HK, Taiwan, Ukraine, Solomon Islands (these are on the top of my head and these are NOWHERE near USA), and you think I have an agenda??!!! And some of us can see through some of these so-called NGOs.
