Better not eat any of those chilies before getting into the capsule !

Really, some people have to wear them every day.

Yes, this is true and I understand, but I don't.

Eating spicy peppers and using a diaper is not a good combination.

Peppers are especially rich in antioxidant vitamins including vitamins C, E, K and beta-carotene. They retain a lot of water yet act as a diuretic hence, the need for diapers when toilets aren’t working. (The Americans drink the reprocessed urine as water but the Russians refused.) The station processes 6000 extra liters of water a year so the excess goes to hydroponic gardening and the while cycle starts again. - Cheers!

Imagine having some too hot peppers burning their way through your gut, and just before they make a flaming exit, finding out that sorry, the toilet's broken, you're going to have to get through it in diapers.

Ouch

On the culinary side, the astronauts grew the first chile peppers in space — “a nice moral boost,” according to McArthur. They got to sample their harvest in the past week, adding pieces of the green and red peppers to tacos.

I think the chile peppers deserve their own article, though granted, it all comes out in the end.

I think McArthur meant morale boost.
