THESE are people deserving of recognition and the Nobel Prize! I can think of a few other recipients that haven't done anything yet, but received the award for just being in the right place at the right time!

Hate to be a Muslim in Burma...opps now Bangladesh. The Nobel peace prize is a joke. It is good that they are trying to save face.

Shining a spotlight on the great work of people who actually care about others is one of the great things any international body with an audience can do..

Top notch people.

Unlike some nations or people who want to hide these kind of actions, or at least hide behind the, "Well, other people have done it, too!", these people are trying to bring the brutality of sexual slavery and rape front stage so the world has to try and deal with it. Well done to these brave people.

One braved threats to his life to treat other's sufferings.

The other used her suffering to expose the evil of sexual violence.

Well done , you deserve this prize.

One wonders whether this Peace prize needs to be split into separate categories - perhaps Humanitarian and actual Peace ?

I don't wish to belittle this Person's great achievements, though I do need educating in terms of what it stands for... and seek your thoughts - I don't see how being a forced prostitute and subsequently raising awareness of it helps with "Global Peace" ? However, it is most certainly a Humanitarian issue, that deserves the recognition of her efforts, but shouldn't it be separated from the action of those who actually break barriers in order to establish Peace between Waring Factions or brings about change to a conflict situation ?
