Its good to see Muhammad Yunus, someone who has ties with Western academia, lead an interim government. A political vacuum in a Muslim country (even if Bangladesh has secular traditions as compared to many other Muslim nations) in this part of the world is generally filled either by the armed forces or by elements pandering to Islamists. Yunus is the best bet if he is able to govern effectively and his government does not get hijacked by the aforementioned elements.
