North Korea said Monday the U.S. allowing South Korea to build more powerful missiles was an example of the U.S.'s hostile policy against the North, warning that it could lead to an "acute and unstable situation" on the Korean Peninsula.

Says the country that has the reunification of the Korean Penninsula under the DPRK in the preamble to their constitution and constantly fires off missiles of all sizes in violation of UN sanctions. Yea, ok.

but is short of hitting potential key targets in other neighbors like China and Japan.

Now that makes also me somewhat affected and therefore I demand clarification of what is meant by that threat and how far that threatening development has grown already. Is the city where I live one of the potential targets and why and when do they want to hit it?

North Korea accuses U.S. of hostility for S Korean missile decision

Translation: We want the pliable, simpleton, buffoon US President back who is so easy to manipulate...

We want love letters!

....the U.S. intent was to boost its ally's military capability amid a rivalry with China.

That's exactly what it is. The US is endeavoring to encircle China with its allies, and they are eager as they (rightly) fear China. Let's just hope this cold war doesn't get hot. It would be disastrous for Japan.

Ahhh, it’s been a minute, hasn’t it.

Yes North Korea, we have forgotten about you.

Thank you for reminding us you are there.

We will see you in a few months when you mistakingly launch a missile or two.

Take care!

NK has lost the American leader who not only literally declared he loved their dear leader, but who gave them everything they wanted. No they are pouting. It's a shame Trump empowered them to pout with nuclear weapons.

South Korea to build more powerful missiles was an example of the U.S.'s hostile policy against the North.

I would say that is a bit rich coming from a Nation always building and designing more powerful missiles themselves.

totally agree. it worked last time.

Did it? North Korea continued to launch missiles and develop its missile program throughout Trump's term, including after they "fell in love" in 2018. This includes an October 19 2019 launch, where the missle landed in a Japanese EEZ off of Shimane Prefecture.

What is your measure of "working"?

North Korea accuses

Just the usual rethoric. Trump was on a good track for possible solution, but now we are back to the old failed neocon-neolob policies of the past. So NK wil posture and threaten and be rewarded with some appeasement carrots, and then rinse and repeat.

North Korea conducted 12 missile launches when Obama was President. They conducted 27 during Trump's term, 11 of which after their 2018 romance. This is, we are told by the GQP, a roaring success.

All you Trump haters just want to deny that he got some AWESOME photos, and some love letters for the national records.
