Russia has an economy 1/2 the size of California's, and North Korea's is much smaller than that.

Neither is remotely in the same league with the USA, but Trump confers on both a significance far above their due.

But in the brains department, Putin and Kim leave Trump in the dust.

The USA punches way below our weight with the Orange One in the White House.

Kim finally realized that he just needs to speak directly to Trump's boss.

 discuss with Putin the "settlement of the situation in the Korean Peninsula" as well as bilateral ties with Russia.

No doubt they're negotiating Gazprom's Korean Peninsula pipeline.

Russia would like to gain broader access to North Korea's mineral resources, including rare metals.

Russia needs to expand its Eurasian Economic Union. Kim needs more money to build more nukes and further subjugate his 'people'.

Standard Communist hand signal.

Is 'communist' now a pejorative with Russians who've followed their leaders to become far right? Or is one form of totalitarianism - communism, fascism - the same as any other, just sheepled people ceding notions of individualism and obeying their leader.
