How? Make a movie and use artistic license to show NK victorious over the worlds strongest military and South Korea? Because there is no way for North Korea to defeat America, let alone annihilate it.

The US is much to busy assisting Ukraine, keeping China from taking Taiwan, worrying about its image after supporting Israel who now is conducting open genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, and a host of other smaller concerns no less worrying. NK is not on the radar, even though its missile launches are. NK ramping up rhetoric to take view and pressure off Russia. Plain and simple deception to help his newest buddy Putin who intends on sharing better technology and new fighter jets as soon as the war with Ukraine is over.

Dictators inevitably slide into self-delusion and megalomania. Such is clearly the case with the Kim family.

He, his dad, and his grandad have been saying the same things for many decades. The best thing for media outlets would be to ignore him. Don't publish this nonsense, and give a sense of importance.

It depends. If he keeps their efforts non-nuclear and gains the full backing of Russia and China, millions of people will die. That is certain. If NK starts anything, I can see a few thousand cruise missiles headed towards all their military installations trying to remove all nuclear rocket capabilities from his control, perhaps with China's blessing.

If it goes nuclear. The entire region will become useless for a few hundred years. Nobody wants that.

Aside from his usual ‘we will destroy if provoked’ rhetoric (I understand the spray-zone for his spittle makes those sitting in the front row wear plastic waterproofs) , we note that his speech also contained some real loss-of-reality claims: that he made “eye-opening” economic achievements in fulfilling or exceeding quotas in farming, housing construction and fisheries.

Translated, he means that food crops, while exceeding last years yields (due to better weather), are still almost a metric ton below the minimum needed to feed his unfortunate people. That average housing in his country now means fewer than eighteen family / extended family crammed into a space meant for a family of four (prisons and work camps still popping up everywhere). And that more fishing boats are now actually able to leave harbor, without sinking first on the way out.

In other words? The usual tired screams from The Glorious Eater.

Judging by the USA military performance since Vietnam, a lost to the the North Viet Com. With attack on their own shores of 9/11 a Lost in Iraq and a lost to Afghanistan Taliban and lost in Syria and a lost in Ukraine. And now coping flogging from Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. I say Kim would give the USA another lost. I didn't,t know what is there problem is but the USA have all the high tech equipment but stuff all to show for it. You forgot saving a USA military from certain defeat to a cease fire in NK. Without the Aussie warrior saving the USA military from themselves and from the old senile Generals and their inadequate planing. Someone has to overcome the USA military poor strategies and save their rear end. Like it a certain you have ask the Aussie for help.
