Glad to see Trump standing up for N.Korea!

"Kim wrote me beautiful letters and we fell in love." ... Donald Trump

What's wrong with this guy? No, not Kim. The other guy.

The Koreas have always been caught between and among stronger nations, like pawns, no, more like bishops running the strong diagonal lines with their missiles.

Kim wouldn’t been acting this way without the backing of Russia and China.

What an idiot!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.

trump & trust in the same sentence spoken by trump does not equate.

U.S. president said Friday, in a change of course after initially expressing his dissatisfaction.

Flip-flopping: one of Trump's few consistencies.

"I mean it's possible that at some point I will, but right now not at all,"

In other words, Trump's waiting for Xi and Putin to tell him how many more trademarks and where they'll allow him to develop properties.

Trump's not afraid to put the US and the American people at risk with North Korea. All he cares about is how much more money he and his family can make while he's in office.

And how quickly he can pay off his loans to 'international financiers'.

One expects too much from any summit between nations, especially this one between Trump and Kim.

Nothing in the world except physics and technology changes almost immediately when something is agreed upon or allowed or even suggested. People do NOT. It takes years and in many cases many generations and in religious and racial situations even millenniums.

There is a major difference in "expectations" and "practicable" , as there are differences between "wishful" and pragmatic" even if any person agrees... Here we are talking about the population of both US and N Korea with influences and pressure from the rest of the world, even from those that know absolutely nothing about the US or N Korea or even would care less.

So with China and S Korea as well as Russia now directly involved with N Korea via their "summits", things will and must occur... The thing is... "in principle" they are meeting and agreeing... the problem for both countries is that there are others that must be "satisfied" as with the military in N Korea and the Congress in the US, even if partially and temporarily till real action and changes can take place. And, "both sides" must be able to "verify" that the word exchanged and the actions taken "reflect" the "intent" and "substance" of any agreement made.

Trump given the current situation, circumstances and environment has responded. Like it or agree with it or not, it is his assessment. And he has as far as I can tell..,the access to more pertinent information than any of us to assess the situation.

Keep up the good work NK. Show the US that it will NOT dictate to you. Do not trade your nations security by abandoning your nuclear program, it is the only thing preventing US invasion and regime change. Concentrate on developing ICBM capabilities, the region is not your enemy, the US is your enemy. Bases in South Korea, Japan etc. are only a distraction to keep US mainland safe. The US is only blasé about war because it has never fought on their mainland, always on someone else's. American citizens need to keep Hiroshima in mind and imagine what would happen if one, just on, reached NY or Washington. Are they prepared to accept this possibility to continue global bullying and domination?

Trump may have a knack for getting a leg up in the dirty real estate business (or cheating on taxes, bamboozling schmucks, etc.) , but he doesn't have a clue on foreign policy. Does this sound presidential?

First:

"Nobody's happy about it."

Then:

"We'll see what happens,"

Finally:

"I don't consider that a breach of trust at all. And, you know, at some point I may. But at this point no."

"These were short-range missiles and very standard stuff. Very standard."

Very much KYnai.

Kissy kissy. Two ugly dictators. One big joke of a diplomatic dialog. Disgusting.

Pssst, stormcrow - 4D chess.

Pssst, stormcrow - 4D chess.

Exactly. A made up game that nobody else is playing. Kim is launching 3D missiles, Trump is coming up with 4D excuses. He's still a man with a fork in a world of spoons.

Pssst, stormcrow - 4D chess

Psssst, Sorrena - a guy with zero proclivity for reading probably isn't a very good chess player. Also, Kim's playing 8-D chess.

Brilliant.

Nah, he's playing checkers, like the Democrats.

Whenever anyone parrots that tired old 4d chess meme I get the idea they're hoping Trump has a really smart plan but have no idea what it is.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Kim has Trump wrapped around his finger, or perhaps another appendage...

This guy is "the Apprentice" when it comes to diplomacy and international affairs. He never reads (to busy tweeting about Obama and Hillary), and doesn't have the ability to understand complex issues.

He's lazy and dumb - Kim is now receiving assistance from both China and Russia, so Xi and Putin are playing Trump like a fiddle too.

Trump 4D chess - Dumb, Dumber, Dumbest, Donnie...

Too bad Obama had no plan whatsoever.

Kim has Trump wrapped around his finger, or perhaps another appendage...

Why don't you go ahead and elaborate on that?

Xi and Putin are playing Trump like a fiddle too.

Only in your wildest dreams.

Whenever anyone parrots that tired old 4d chess meme I get the idea they're hoping Trump has a really smart plan but have no idea what it is.

It's actually an entirely accurate analogy - Trump is playing a game that no one else is playing because it doesn't exist. It explains why he thinks he's winning.

Kim has Trump wrapped around his finger, or perhaps another appendage...

Why don't you go ahead and elaborate on that?

Sure, Trump has said "they're in love" didn't he? They exchanged "love letters".... Use your imagination....

Xi and Putin are playing Trump like a fiddle too.

Only in your wildest dreams.

Not dreams, nightmares.. Donnie gets taken to the cleaners again, and Xi, Putin and Kim all win.

Donnie loses - just like with his $1 Billion....

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Too bad Obama had no plan whatsoever.

And that somehow excuses Donny from having zero plan?

Why don't you go ahead and elaborate on that?

Conservatives need everything spelled out for them.

Only in your wildest dreams

Denial in the face of evidence.

That was such a lame elaboration, lincolnman, lol

North Korea is going to denuke before Trump leaves office.

Not to give sanction relief, that makes Kim have these fits. Best plan, deny him what he really wants.

Conservatives need everything spelled out for them.

Democrats are smart, they can spell: “capitulation” very well.

Summer 2019? That's real soon...don't see that happening....

Well, I know one person that can't distinguish between "origins" and "oranges", and forgets where his father was born...

Can't speak for Dems but there's those of us who chuckle at the capitulation that Trump shows to dictatorships.

That said, I welcome the DPRK's strength in standing up to a fellow despot nation.

You cut off the last part of the quote so I'll just assume that if Trump actually has a plan you have no idea what is is. He might as well NOT have one - it's not as if the situation has improved all that much, what with NK missiles flying about again.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

So the same plan as previous presidents, but more capitulation and appeasement of Kim. Got it.

Democrats are smart, they can spell: “capitulation” very well.

Hilarious that you jab at democrats for capitulation in an article about Trump capitulating to Kim. The DPRK have been insisting the war games be cancelled for a very, very long time. Trump handed to them on a silver platter in one of the greatest acts of capitulation by a sitting president to one of our most dangerous enemies.
