Bolton clearly wants his war somehow. The question surely from the standpoint of everyone else in the world is how to give him what he wants and make it authentic whilst insulating everyone else on the planet from it.

So let's put Bolton in a dusty field somewhere on his own, and then rain on him with tank and drone fire from 5 miles away to see if that makes him a little less grumpy.

You’ve got to like the insults they come up with. I’m not sure if the North Koreans are sitting there sniggering or thinking they’ve come up with real zingers.

I recently read a description of Bolton as "Having never met a war he didn't like." He's sort of the Will Rogers of blitzkriegs. Japanese would call him senso no otaku.
