Please world stop messing about with this country. Go hard at it. Make the people suffer. I saw a video on YouTube where the kids where abusing a foreigner.

South Korea's unification ministry, which handles relations with the North, said this week North Korea's closure of some diplomatic missions was a sign it is struggling to make money overseas because of international sanctions.

Yeah, and I guess their crooked endeavors overseas aren't paying off like in the past.

What’s the world coming to when a rouge state cannot use the facade of diplomatic immunity to launder money (and drugs), engage in insurance fraud, and trafficking humans and weapons?

I'm surprised NK even has embassy locations around the world. Seems rather pointless considering people can't leave the country in the first place.

The dictatorship can afford to produce rockets - and ammunition to supply fascist Russia. But can't afford to run embassies or feed her citizens as ALL nations are obliged to do.

Pathetic joke of a country.

Well Fatboy-Maniac (aka: The Dear Leader) will be back in the money soon, having sold over a million shells to his best-friend the psychotic ogre next-door, presumably to kill another 100,000 innocent Ukrainian citizens.....

When is this madness going to stop ??

Does that mean that the employee(s) that issue the thousands of tourist visas to NK in those countries are now redundant?

The thought of being repatriated to NK should see a surge in political asylum applications.

When you can't run your embassies, and give your TOP Notch Flunkies a taste of the good life it is best to shut it down or else the Flunkies will turn on you. They are too use to the good life so its best for little kimmie to shut it down, so that he can control them while he can. The sanctions must be working because he is finding it harder to make money and he need that money to pay his flunkies.

I don't think we need to MAKE them suffer. Better to isolate them and LET them suffer.

There are travel agencies that specialize in travelling to North Korea who will get you the tourist visa from other open North Korean embassies in Europe, in Paris, Berlin, Bern, and London.
