Sigh. The last thing the US wants to do is invade North Korea.
Rob
Who the hell wants to invade North Korea?

North Korea is clearly showing that it will not allow any invasions -the US is taking note?

Fun!
Are they going to have party hats and cake too?
Hopefully people can choose between Elmo, Grover and Oscar for the celebration.
Fighto!
Little Rocket Man is at it again. Clearly he is seeking attention.
NK is part of the Arc of Authoritarianism - along with China, Russia and Belarus. They and their people should all be locked out of the free world permanently.

Probably not. DPRK has their own unique priorities and their own calendar to pursue these priorities. If anything motivates their provocations it is being ignored or dismissed by ROK and the US.

ICBM test? Or might the North may be making preparations to launch an intelligence satellite? Either way they get to test a heavy first stage booster.

Who dreamed up that bit of nonsense. Sanctions reinforcing will be more accurate. I also wonder if the timing has anything to do with the SK election of their new president. Let the anniversary fireworks show begin.

Spreading fear is also a powerful weapon!

One top priority is an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that can carry multiple warheads -- the Hwasong-17, dubbed a "monster missile" and first unveiled at a parade in October 2020.
Okay, NK invents the MIRV 40 years later.

"It's very likely that North Korea is going to test-fire an ICBM on April 15 for Kim Il Sung's birthday,"
Normal people celebrate Birthdays with Cake and Wine, but this little fat rat, who is another insane leader of another warmongering country, celebrates with missiles.
Another as...hole beside the mass murderer Putin, who will pay sooner or later the price for his doings.

The question here is, does Putins' war empower other dictators to lash out at the West and Asian countries? Understandably, South Korea has a new booby in power and has recently caused a stir with his Trumpy style line of communication, however with the war in The Ukraine, other leaders who wish to blast off missiles around the world may feel it's within their own best interest to shoot off a few bombs as the new norm.
