Well, she is the Krypt Keeper Barbie :/

The press too often just use and re-use the same old stock photos of people and places. There are lots of images of her smiling. Here are a couple.

Mr Kipling
Why does JT show the same file photo from 2019 of Kim Yo Jong? It was taken at a wreath laying ceremony for the dead. So no, she isn't smiling.

North Korea promises another attempt at spy satellite launch...

Kim Yo Jong's pic shows what power and privilege do to distort human physiognomy, a word that originally connotes judging a person's character from their kisser. Hence we see a cold, arrogant mask staring out at the world from a spoiled, self-entitled sister of a dictator for whom money for rockets is no object since the funding will come out of the pockets of other people who will continue paying with their blood, sweat and tears to keep the vampiric Kims in criminal luxury.

Since the North has enough hard currency to fund these space adventures, they obviously do not need any humanitarian relief as they must have more than enough hard currency to purchase all the grain and other food stuffs they need on the open market, right?
I mean, no dictatorship, er "government" could ever be so stupid as to spend money on obvious and poorly disquised ICBM testing while its population starves, right?
Laguna
Imagine if Kim Yo Jong's face was the last you ever saw.

such insightful analysis and commentary here.
simply amazing.

Right, Space X largest commercial space company, busy re-investing in larger more powerful reusable spacecraft!
Mr. Musk could help NK as well, as Mr. Musk often says, in space your country's flag means nothing, as it's all about your science and technological capabilities.
Space is great chance to bring Humanity Together for Greater Good, opposite of useless Conflict and Chaos causing weapons proliferation, inflation and starvation!
Coulda been
The population of NK has probably diminished by a couple of space technicians as a result of the mishap.
I have seen a photo of her smiling but is was an example of the marvels of photoshopping.

If looks could kill. She's even creepier than her brother.

Space X techs don't go to the gullag for 3 generations for failing. So there's that. ....
Mr Kipling
Recently we have had Space X and Japan launched rockets failing to reach orbit so keep trying.

Yes, there are a lot of photos with smiles and smirks, but that old photo has been used a million times now."
Yes, but all "unfriendly" officials must be portrayed with an evil look in our "independent " mass media, so...
EFD
Yes but she was supervising the murder of puppies, so....

Every country interested in space needs to remain committed! But would recommend NK seek out assistance from their Russian 'Rocket' loving friends that have long history in space, including first man space!
As these rocket failures create some regional risk!

That’s o.k., all that special ordinance has a shelf life too.

Lucky us.
Do they pinky swear?

The above should please the anti-west, anti-democracy bloc, as the information North Korea might get from its surveillance could help Russian and Chinese global expansion efforts.
ian
No self respecting US citizen believes this lol
Hiro
Just keep wasting money i guess.

Good try, never give up. Every country has their rights to use space for their own purposes!
