North Korea on Saturday reported 21 new deaths and 174,440 more people with fever symptoms

Multiply that 21 figure by 1000, and you’ll probably be closer to the truth. On the positive side, there is no obesity or diabetes problem in North Korea (other than in its leader).

These folks are underweight and malnourished and lack basic medical care. They don’t have much in the way of immune systems to fight this off.

Could happen to a nicer leader. Hopefully be little Kim’s downfall…

Kim is going to copy Xi's zero-covid approach. Good luck with that.

State media reports said Kim and other senior North Korean officials are donating their private reserve medicines to support the country’s anti-pandemic fight.

That's an interesting observation.

No one's going in and no one's coming out, so what does it matter

That’s cold. The people of North Korea did not choose to be born there.

And again a situation is underestimated. Not helping on this one means , the viruses can replicate at full speed and potentially develop new variants. In addition that Kim could come to the idea that the world wants to let his country die and then he presses the according buttons. IMO it is very irresponsible from all other sides, to show no reactions or help efforts. It doesn’t play a role if you like or dislike the regime or the dictatorship there, because it’s a threat and potentially suicidal for the whole rest too, not only for North Korea. Is that worth all the stubbornness and denying fighting the viruses there? Switch on your calculators, you maximum stupid idiots, while you still can.

Little kim was too busy testing and prepping his HANABI missiles instead of prepping for COVID arrival.

Odd that they are only reporting cases now.

No matter how much of lockdowns they impose, that genie's not going back into the bottle. At least they're not getting the full original 2019 variant but a watered down one in mid 2022.

CoVid is everyone's fight right now. This is no time for any political;/ideological/ego cult BS. Maybe Kimmyboy has been denying it like Trumpy did in 2020 but the coronavirus doesn't care where or who you are.

This ain't no Communist Party.

This ain't no Communist elite ball.

This ain't no fooling around.

Quite a few North Korean defector literally "escape" South Korea to go back to the North.

Well nobody wants to copy USA's one-million approach. No way, Jose.
