If this is the same cruise missile DPRK has tested in the past it is derived from and might even be a direct copy of the Iranian Ya Ali cruise missile. DPRK has helped Iran develop its ballistic missile force and in turn Iran is helping DPRK develop cruise missiles and the turbine engine technology to propel them.

drawing oval and figure-eight patterns above the sea

Now, how are we going to outdo this? Drawing smilies?

if North Korea or Russia decide to fire off a nuclear missile and my fate is sealed, then so be it. At least I’ll know that shortly afterwards, that will be the total decimation of both those countries, meaning the rest of the world won’t have to wake up to these same tired old news stories each morning

@YrralToday Is that so....?

Nobody takes Japan serious, outside of Japan.

Just came out of meeting here on Osan AFB. Where every aspect through Japanese assessment was taken under advisement on various topics and will, and are, and have, been taken under serious consideration for decades. Japan is pinitol to world stabilizing and is and has been a major contributor to world peace.

No matter who is in power.

Japan leads the world in counter cyber warfare by the way.

I can give you nine more Japanese assets that contribute to great deal of discussion on the global platform.

No one listen to Japan...Please....

While Russia, North Korea, and China throw bombs up into the sky, America watches, and plans.

Someone is stomping his fat little feet and saying; "I want love letters, I want love letters"!

Sorry, those appeasement days are over...

So how much does it cost to launch two nK cruise missiles to punish fish?

Enough to feed 1000? 2000? 10,000 N Koreans?

I can see it now. Russia, China, North Korea, Iran etc., holding a meeting and deciding whether to declare war on the west. Then realizing they would be obliterated. So instead, just fire off another rocket big man.

by pushing through American sanctions the the UN will kill over 400 million in developing countries. Constantly threatening China, Russia, NK and SK. Host USA military bases on 3.5% of sovereign land, some equipped with nuclear weapons. Conducting military excercises to aggress our neighbors. The list goes on…

Uh yeah those sovereign nations have asked the USA to build those bases and staff them to aid in their defense, so if they don't want them why haven't they told the US to leave? Funny we never hear about the leaders of said nations say such.

Those nations also participate in the exercises. If their neighbors get aggressive about them then they have bad intentions and thus the need for said exercises.

Laughable....talk to the widows and mothers of the Russian soldiers and Ukraine civilians that have been butchered by Putin's egomaniac war...

Constantly threatening China, Russia, NK and SK.

Sure, who launched ICBMs and SRBMs this past week? Or should I say who tried to launch an ICBM but failed? Who has threatened to nuke London?

Host USA military bases on 3.5% of sovereign land, some equipped with nuclear weapons.

Indeed - hosts US bases as part of the US-Japan Security Alliance supported by 70% of the population (this before Russia's invasion).

Conducting military excercises to aggress our neighbors.

So how many fish have died given all the nK missile launches into the Japan Sea?

The list goes on…

Of cut and pasted Russian and CCP propaganda...

Laughable...

If this is not the time for Japan and South Korea to join, link arms, solve their past grievances, then the region is bluntly up poo creek without a paddle.

China, North Korea and Russian Governments are hell bent on an agenda to dominate through fear and a believed weakness in a global free democratic community ready to stand up and be counted.

This are no more than simulation, you cannot control a missile like this unless you have GPS guidance system

Sure you can. Inertial nav and a pre-programed flight path entered into the flight control computer, or you can use a data link for man in the loop control.

Sigh. The US has no nuclear weapons in South Korea or Japan. Nuclear weapons were removed from Japan in the early 1970s and from South Korea in the early 1990s. There have been no nuclear weapons aboard US navy combat ships or attack subs since the mid 1990s. Today the only vessels in the US Navy equipped with nuclear weapons are the SSBNs and those do not make foreign port calls anywhere.

North Korea has the right to make defense test

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

As long as it's only intended for testing and not hitting any other countries' territory, there's no need for us to worry.
