I thought I previously read his youngest son didnt want the job and didnt care for politics. I wonder what happens when a kid says "whatever" to his closest advisors?

How is his son Jong Un going to deal with these journalists, if they were investigating some inconvenient truth about North Korea?

The DPRK really should listen to the advice from the PRC and the Russian Federation, and return to the 6party talks fully or partially. Those two have vastly better intelligence than the DPRK - the successor can only dream of having that kind of info.

He'd better send me a new GTR Spec-V.

these cars aren't going to do them any good if they keep messing with Obama. Just a few more steps, and we are going to see a side of O we have never seen. maybe they'll be good for getting the hell out of the place.

You have to admit that considering he only has two means of persuasion, bribery and punishment, Kim Jong Il has managed to get his way for quite a long time. Now to see if Junior will be so lucky . . .

“Our revolution is winning victory after victory because the bloodline” of the country’s ideology of “juche” “self-reliance” has been succeeded through generations, Kim was quoted as saying last month.

If they are so "self-reliant", shouldnt Kim be passing out North Korean-made luxury cars and wine?

Well said chardk1. Once Kimmy kicks it I hope the younger Kim changes the way the North does business... Wishful thinking?

Why doesn't he give the Korean people a present and say NK will abandon its pathetic existence and unify with South Korea, putting to an end a country with enormous potential going to waste.
