'Not a surprise that all conflicts seem to revolve around three countries in the world lately... China, Russia and North Korea... A common denominator being China!'

I recommend reading a little more international news.

So basically they're both bothering the fishes for now. Let's hope no one misfires this year.

Yeah, that reunification will happen anytime....

With this much love in the air reunification is a sure FIRE bet.

It’s a wake-up call for Abe’s gov.

Let's be honest, aliens could land on the roof of your home and you'd call it "a wake-up for Abe".

This little spat has nothing to do with Japan or Abe's government. Its two immature countries, chests puffed out, trading sissy punches.

good trade... Trade more please...

Boys, if you can't use your indoor voices, I'll have to give you both a timeout.

Really hate to say this, but if I was a DPRK national, I would resent having that NLL sea boundary set like that right up against my coast. Just saying...

As an armchair observer in a fair world, I would try to work out a new staggered sea border somewhere between the NLL and the Military Demarcation line, but leaving room round those islands for the SKs to continue to live there peacefully.

@JoeBigs I thought you stated that South Korea was yearning to be overrun by the commies in the DPRK.

EthanWilberMar. 31, 2014 - 09:05PM JST Amid the cheering sound of the high level talks between Japan and N.K, yet agian, N.K defies U.N’s condemnation by flaunting its military muscles. regardless.

Let's be fair, North Korea never signed onto the UN Northern Limit Line. Look it up, the UN and North Korea couldn't come to an agreement so there is still a dispute as to who owns what.

EthanWilberMar. 31, 2014 - 09:05PM JST It’s a wake-up call for Abe’s gov;

Why is this a wake up call to the Abe Government? Are you claiming that they were somehow involved in the firefight or had a way to stop it?

The entire exchange has nothing to do with Prime Minister Abe or Japan's policies. This exchange was a Korean made issue.

This should be a wake up call to President Park and her government. She needs to wake up and see the world for what it is rather what she has been told. Her policies are blinded by the reunification Carrot Trap and she needs to rethink her flawed strategy.

Japan and the US are allies and not her foes, Communist China and it's servant state of North Korea are.

EthanWilberMar. 31, 2014 - 09:05PM JST it indicates that Japan’s failing foreign policy especailly in its own backyard ( surrounded by hostile neighbors - Russia, China, S.K and N.K) , Abe constatly buoys with wishful thinking rather reality.

Again, this had nothing to do with Japan or it's policies. Japan doesn't control what either party will or will not do. South Korea had decided to turn it's back on it's old ally, Japan, long ago. This decision came a long time before Prime Minister Abe was in power. So to somehow blame Japan for this is a bit over the top.

Also, South Korea and North Korea have been exchanging fireworks for many years now and Japan's policies have no sway where those fireworks fall.

Couldn't agree more, but when the next war breaks out South Korea will certainly ask for Japan's help. But, hopefully whoever the Prime Minister is he will remember all the love that South Korea has had for Japan these last 20 years. Then make sure that South Korea paid well for that help.

Because if Japan ever got attacked, South Korea would be the last nation to offer any aid to Japan and if they did offer to help it would come with a hefty price tag.

JimizoApr. 01, 2014 - 01:00AM JST @JoeBigs I thought you stated that South Korea was yearning to be overrun by the commies in the DPRK.

Commies in the DPRK? The DPRK is Communist, so you should have said "by the Communist DPRK".

And no, what I said was that "IF" South Korea continues to fall for the giant reunification Carrot Trap that they would be overrun by the Communist and that Seoul would be renamed Kim Il-Jung city.

Hope that helps resolve any misunderstandings.

@JoeBigs ' Time for the US to cut it's loses and let North Korea do what the South wants it to do, overrun it'

That's what you said, Joe. I remember I asked you if you truly believed that. What's changed?

Nk is a country ruled by a gang family, its natural that their messages are low quality level.

Nobody likes the DPRK, but their script writers are hilarious.

On Tuesday, the state-controlled North Korean newspaper Rodong Sinmun scoffed at Ms. Park’s speech, calling the unmarried South Korean leader an “eccentric old spinster” and “a frog in a well.” It said her overture was “full of deception” and “filth” and was aimed at destroying the North Korean government..

Hilarious stuff. Perhaps the PRC could take some lessons from their puppet in how to turn a phrase.

Ah yes, Japan being next door surely won't let itself get involved.

Some people just try to live in denial.
