He purchased the high capacity magazines from an American website, who didn’t bother to check whether or not they were shipping the magazines to a place where they were legal to own.

The reason they didn’t check? They weren’t required to! Isn’t the Second Amendment amazing? So powerful, it’s ability to kill innocent people transcends international boundaries and supersedes foreign laws!

He published a rambling manifesto on line immediately before bombing a building in Oslo prior to his killing all those kids on Utoeya. The manifesto boils down his idea that liberals are willfully enabling radical Muslims to destroy European civilization. Therefore, liberals must be killed. Breivik never denies committing the crimes, only that they are, in fact, criminal acts. He believes Islamicization is an existential threat to the West and that hunting teenagers at a summer camp and blowing up office workers and pedestrians is the brutal yet necessary beginning of a counterrevolution.

At the age of 20 he joined the anti-immigration/right-wing Progress Party, and chaired the local Vest Oslo branch of the party's youth organization during 2002. He joined a gun club

I have to think if Christ returned right now and saw what is being perpetrated in his name his rage at the money lenders in the temple would look like a minor upset compared to the rage he would express at the many charlatans twisting his message to justify willful ignorance, bigotry and wanton discrimination. Doesn't the Christian Bible say something like "the meek shall inherit the Earth" and "easier to thread a camel through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to heaven"? The prosperity gospel and the likes of Donald Trump are a full frontal assault on Christ's teachings, at least as how they were once taught to me all those years ago.

Yes. Yes he would. And you’ll notice that he was able to kill far more people with the guns than the bomb because, unlike a bomb, he has direct control over the guns. He can choose where to aim it, when to pull the trigger, when to reload, when to finish off the wounded etc. Bombs are random. If the US gun site had been required to verify the legality of their own products, the death toll would almost certainly have been less.

There was nothing random about where that bomb was placed. He built the device in a VW van and parked the van in the garage beneath the office building the Norwegian Prime Minister worked in, apparently hoping to kill her.

Right-wing extremism is as dangerous as religious extremism. Both are stains on humanity.

All that proves is that the bomb was far less efficient at killing people than the gun was. The gun left far fewer survivors for a reason.
