Ridiculous.  what exactly is the NY Times reporting here?

exactly what the story says a violent parody with Trump's face superimposed on the gunman shooting people in the face depicting ,Barack Obama, Black Lives Matter, Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters, Bill and Hillary Clinton and Rep. Adam Schiff, CNN, The Washington Post, BBC, PBS, NBC and Politico. Was shown in one of Trumps resorts. Id love to hear what Trumpsters think that this is perfectly fine.

There was another massacre in 1934 over 3 nights "Night of the Long Knives" where Adolph Hitler executed hundreds of his political opponents to consolidate his power and settle scores old scores, we all know what happened with history after that.

It's just a parody video, shown on private property during a private event.

on one of Trumps Miami resorts, was Trump fine with this, if not then why isnt he issuing a statement condoning the action. Silence is as good as guilt

It's just a parody video, shown on private property during a private event.

A video Leni Riefenstahl and Joesph Goebbels would have enjoyed making for their herrs. Perhaps to be shown at Trump's next infomercial rally? At an NRA event funded by its 'foreign' backers?

If Trump is smart

bwaa haaaa haaaa haaa

The video is precisely the kind of violent propaganda one expects from Trumpists. If this was done by Democrats, there would be outrage.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

Trumpists advocating violence. Again.

10 ( +14 / -4 )

If Trump is smart, he will ignore this completely for the tripe it is.

yep he certainly can , his silence will tell Americans what he thinks of it , he fine with it. If he isnt fine with it then he should condone it publically.

Bloody head and knife and liberals got a laugh out of it, had a conservative done the same about Obama that person would have to leave the country. Let’s not forget that crucial point.

I don't remember anyone laughing at it - I thought it was horrible and have never thought Griffin was funny. And she was fired from CNN.

But enough of "But What About" - this is a disgraceful video that merely incites violence - violence that we saw from a Trump supporter at El Paso where 22 innocent people died.

It should be condemned starting from the top - so when do we expect Donnie to condemn it and fire the company that made it and bar them from any other Trump event?

We know the answer - never....

Lighten up people.

It's just a parody video, shown on private property during a private event.

In other words you think it's okay.

How far down the cesspool will Trump and his supporters go....

They cower in their basements with their AR-15s with max capacity drum magazines, saying they need to protect themselves from the "Gubment" - which is our law enforcement and military professionals.

So now they make a violent, sick video showing their opponents being shot and killed...

And the Trumpers here say "lighten up"?

These folks are crazy....and any red line law would see all their weapons taken away...

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Hilarious and very telling that the same Trumpophiles whose heads exploded over Griffin's repugnant photo are trying to convince the rest of us that this is no big deal.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

If Trump was behind it or knew about it or viewed beforehand, then it seems like the kind of sick fantasy a school shooter has before a massacre.

Further evidence of Trump's mental deterioration? Yeah, and you don't need to be a doctor to come to that conclusion. This kind of reminds me of Hitler watching the executions on film of the many people who had conspired to assassinate him back in 1944.

Trump is one sick puppy and he's our president.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Is Trump now responsible for all actions done at one of his "properties"? Or for anything depicting him?

Directly responsible? Perhaps not. But he's definitely set a tone where ugly things like this tend to show up.

does anyone really believe he would sanction or agree to or whatever something like this?

I do. Look at his rallies (taxpayer funded) and how he can wind up his base, knowing full well how easily wound up many of them are. Look at how he talks about the media, the outlets that don't praise him and dare to question his actions. Look at how he points out enemies (often women and those not from his demographic) and gets his followers to parrot him.

Liberals (I'll reduce 'liberals' to the 65,000,00 Americans who voted for Clinton) laughed as a single unit over something Kathy Griffin did. SMH

@bas4FYou counted them all? Amazing!

Classic. All or nothing, A or Z, nothing in between. Throughout history leaders of totalitarian regimes have got their followers to see things from a binary perspective. And defend their leaders who tell them 'someone else is bad, too'.

Peter Wehner said there’s a reason why many of President Donald Trump’s most loyal supporters won’t turn on him.

“It is almost like a hermetically sealed world,” he said on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” “Facts are like BBs, they’re just bouncing off of a brick wall. They just don’t penetrate.”

Wehner, who served in the administrations of presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and as a senior aide in the White House of President George W. Bush, said it comes down to a concept called the psychology of accommodation.

“People decided early on for a variety of reasons to accommodate themselves to Donald Trump, some of them thinking that things would get better, that he would grow in office, that he would be surrounded by good people,” he said.

“Now it’s not just a defense of Trump. It’s a defense of their defense of Trump,” Wehner said. “To indict him is to indict themselves, and to indict their own judgment, and that’s hard for any human being.”

The result: “They will defend him regardless of what happens, come hell or high water.”

Sounds like brainless trash.

Trump retweets this kind of lavatorial nonsense.

Another day in the sewer.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

More utter crap from Trump supporters who would have guessed....

To be fair, there are those who put out trash on both sides. Someone already mentioned the garbage that has come from the anti-Trump side.

The problem is that the President of the US retweets trash rather than distancing himself from it. The fact that his supporters either ignore it or try to justify it shows how far they’ve flushed their decency down the covfefe.

CNN, The Washington Post, BBC, PBS, NBC and Politico

Among the 'media' the global alt right attack - because sometimes they report things differently from the global alt right's viewpoints.

Several months back there was another video that sounds similar, and that was reported to have been made by a far right group, white supremacist group from South Africa.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Plunging right into the depths of the swamp!

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Of course I meant most Americans.

Thanks for the correction. I'm trying to make a point about how language is used, especially by partisan extremists, to reduce things to 'our way or it's wrong'. Dividing and conquering through bifurcating and using oversimplifications, like regimes of all sorts have done throughout history. I also associate oversimplifications with bigots.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

With the ramping up of violent rhetoric, attacks on minorities, bomb plots against Democrats and hyperpartisan support of violent videos one feels alarmed at the future.

Even when Trump is deposed, there will be a lot of work needed to quell the rising tide.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Did liberals boycott the movie this clip came from? Did you contact every actor in this horrifically violent movie to get them to denounce it? Nope there was a part 2 and part 3 coming out next year

And?

3 ( +4 / -1 )

And just like that, everyone forgot Kathy Griffin even existed. (eyeroll)

Americans love violence on film...but if its political it better be from and for their own side. (eyeroll)

So how do I judge a video I have not seen? How do you? Oh yeah....bias. (eyeroll)

And I hate Trump. My true feelings about him would be deleted if I posted them.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Americans love violence on film

liberals got a laugh out of it,

No comments about the content of the video. But excellent examples of reductionism. And 'other guys do bad things, too'.

330,000,000+ Americans love violence. I'm an American and I don't, not in film, in books, and especially not in flesh and blood real life. (eyeroll)

Liberals (I'll reduce 'liberals' to the 65,000,00 Americans who voted for Clinton) laughed as a single unit over something Kathy Griffin did. SMH

2 ( +3 / -1 )

330,000,000+ Americans love violence. I'm an American and I don't,

> Liberals (I'll reduce 'liberals' to the 65,000,00 Americans who voted for Clinton) laughed as a single unit

Of course I meant most Americans. And personally I think most liberals just shrugged at Trump's severed head. As for myself, also American, I have a love/hate relationship with violence.....I play violent video games and I watch violent movies....but if there was generally agreement to get rid of them I would be on board. Its not good for our society or the world we affect.

But I just watched a parody of "300" where Trump was Leonidas and Obama was the envoy getting kicked in the pit by him. I don't know what was in the video in question and no one does (cause its pointedly not being given to us), but that "300" parody was pretty par for the sick course of American violence and humor on film....yet it was funny in the same way all of that stuff is.

We Americans need to admit that is our society is sick as a whole and both major sides and even some of the smaller ones have enough blame that the finger pointing is hypocrisy.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

The video is making the rounds on Twitter and elsewhere, and it is absolutely shocking. It is a desecration of the office of the presidency and of the country. That anyone -- ANYONE -- would make a video mocking a mass shooting in a church is a reminder of how deeply Trump has taken his base into an abyss of nihilistic self-loathing, of ignorance masked as patriotism, of idiocy positioned as strategy, of hatred depicted as common sense. Trump and the cowards who support him have taken this country to a place I never, ever thought it would go. It is sickening. And the GOP who nominated this fool, this coward, this venal corrupt idiot, should never be forgiven.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

OK, so a few a-holes made a tasteless video. It's not part of the Trump campaign.

Agreed.

Meanwhile the Democrats continue to do serious damage to the country including trying to oust him because they know they can't beat him in the 2020 election.

Democrats are completely irrelevant to Donny's supporters producing, showing, and watching this repugnsnt video.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

No, they’re relevant

No, they aren't because they weren't involved in the making, showing, or watching of this video.

, so how do you Explain the constant desire for violence towards anything conservative?

Easy, there isn't a constant desire for violence against conservatives.

And how is it that you guys want to justify that, but want to get on Trump when he says something which makes the liberals go nuts?

Since it doesn't exist, we don't want to justify it. Wow, being a rational adult sure is difficult.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Do I want to see this video? No.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Violence against real, living Trump supporters is fine with liberals.

No. You're absolutely incorrect.

If you didn’t denounce the real life violence, don’t get overly excited about a parody video. I am sure that no CNN logos were harmed in the making of that video.

Uh . . . Okay.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

During his election campaign, Trump said he could shoot someone in the street and his voters would still vote for him.

As I keep saying, its time to take control of our politicians and make them accountable, its time to stop the tail wagging the dog, they are our employees.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Toast hereti;

If this was done by Democrats, there would be outrage.

Are you serious? Did you completely forget about the comedian with the bloody behaded Trump and the long string of Hollywood personalities advocating shooting or otherwise offing him, or some democrat candidates talking about beating him up? Seems to me, violent anti Trump images have been a staple media diet for years now. Maybe we are so used to them we dont even notice them anymore. Looks like tunnel vision to me.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

The video is making the rounds on Twitter and elsewhere,

Link or search term please.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

My point was that this is not Trump doing this.  and it Is supposed to be a "parody" (not my idea of fun but then so much posted on the Web these days isn't).  Is Trump now responsible for all actions done at one of his "properties"?  Or for anything depicting him?

Given all the fuss going on around him for the last 3 years, does anyone really believe he would sanction or agree to or whatever something like this?

I have seen so much spiteful, puerile, aggressive "parodying" of Trump and Melania and others in his orbit without anyone blaming a Dem or any other politician for the items or for engendering their manufacture.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Did liberals boycott the movie this clip came from? Did you contact every actor in this horrifically violent movie to get them to denounce it? Nope there was a part 2 and part 3 coming out next year.

The clip appears to be edited from a church massacre scene in the 2014 movie "Kingsman: The Secret Service," the Times reported.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Even if it isn't true, it's completely believable.

So was the Covington Kids case.

And Trump telling Cohen to lie to Congress.

And Trump Jr. getting advance notice of Wikileaks dumping DNC emails.

And Manafort visting Assange.

Everything Michael Avenatti claimed.

Oh, and let's not forget about Trump claiming that white supremacists were "very fine people".

Have I mentioned Jussie Smollett yet?

Sure, lots of untrue things are completely believable... if you "think" with prejudice instead of logic.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

But it's perfectly fine to make a movie about liberals hunting down trump supporters. No one on the left complained about that.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Violence against real, living Trump supporters is fine with liberals.

If you didn’t denounce the real life violence, don’t get overly excited about a parody video. I am sure that no CNN logos were harmed in the making of that video.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Classic. All or nothing, A or Z, nothing in between. Throughout history leaders of totalitarian regimes have got their followers to see things from a binary perspective. And defend their leaders who tell them 'someone else is bad, too'

Well, that explains a lot of the last 8 years of the Z-Zombie nation

Democrats are completely irrelevant to Donny's supporters producing, showing, and watching this repugnsnt video.

No, they’re relevant, so how do you Explain the constant desire for violence towards anything conservative? And how is it that you guys want to justify that, but want to get on Trump when he says something which makes the liberals go nuts?

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

Nothing to worry. It’s a “parody”.

thsts ok, even Congressmen do that.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

OK, so a few a-holes made a tasteless video. It's not part of the Trump campaign.

Meanwhile the Democrats continue to do serious damage to the country including trying to oust him because they know they can't beat him in the 2020 election.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

Trumpists advocating violence. Again.

The left as well as we saw left week at the Minnesota rally.

During his election campaign, Trump said he could shoot someone in the street and his voters would still vote for him.

Oh, stop! You had a Bernie shooter, shooting and almost killing a Congressman, you have Antifa staging protests attacking a gay Asian Conservative Journalist and hitting him with cement, the last President advocated and said to “get in their faces” Holder called for violence as well. Attacking conservatives on the streets, following them to restaurants, stalking them and their families, going to their residence, having a stakeout and it goes on and on...

Liberals can’t say anything when they’re ready to use violence to get what they want.

As I keep saying, its time to take control of our politicians and make them accountable, its time to stop the tail wagging the dog, they are our employees.

How? By rounding up all the socialists?

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

And let's not forget the leftists' theatrical play that depicted the ASSASSINATION OF THE PRESIDENT and the (Lefty) NETFLIX series that was(?) to portray actually hunting Conservatives for sport! Could this parody possibly have been to mock those?!

Coming from the NYT, of course it reeks of HYPOCRISY.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

Liberals (I'll reduce 'liberals' to the 65,000,00 Americans who voted for Clinton) laughed as a single unit over something Kathy Griffin did. SMH
