Japan should take a "leaf" out of this book and set up pot vending machines like it does with drink machines. Great for your glycoma, MS, chemo therapy relieve and a few other things along with helping to relax after hard day at he office.

Japan will never even begin to have a discussion about MJ until more than 1% of the population have some experience with it.

But, yeah, Japan would be much better off if the illegal drug of choice was cannabis instead of meth, or heroin.

The police call it protecting society.

I call it a bid for job security and an attempt to appear important and useful.

How much money could be saved if it was not WASTED going after MJ?

New Zealand police said Friday that they seized a marijuana vending machine during a raid

And they are probably smoking it right now!

Saddest story of the day.

Speaking to AFP just before Thursday’s raid, pro-cannabis activist Julian Crawford said The Daktory was a cannabis >club modeled on the cannabis cafes in Amsterdam, where possession of small amounts of the drug has been >decriminalized.

Nothing like inviting the police over for some table tennis and cannibis.

Guess Mr. Crawford missed the point that NZ wasn't the same as Amsterdam, and he should not be talking to the press about his illegal activities. He should have done the interview sober and with an attorney around.

never had a chance to visit the daktory... frankly, here in NZ there is no need. But I can understand that up in Auckland establishing a decent supplier may be tricky; I always watch their developments with interest though. Massive double standards by the Keystones here in NZ. They are a terribly ill-disciplined and none too bright bunch. Very quick to break laws in order to enforce laws, sadly, - the NZ police. Constantly being caught doing so, then investigating themselves, and taking no action.... sound familiar?
