Again President Obama! Now lets shift the blame on the other guys. At some point even your most loyal supporters will see your childish tactics.

How many times was this now? I stopped counting in 2010.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

Obama will never take the blame for anything, historians will look back in history saying that everything bad that happened of the 8 year Obama monarchy was not of any fault of his own, it was always someone else's fault. His majesty was always perfect.

I too, have stopped counting.

You can definitely guarantee that history will show how unreasonable the republicans have been throughout his presidency. They have literally brought the country to a halt. Whether or not Obama will also take some flak in the history book remains to be seen, but he will definitely receive praise for all the good things he's done.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

How is the crisis Obama's fault? He is deporting more illegal aliens than the last president and is following a GOP law of 2008 to the T. The truth is conservatives don't want to solve the crisis, they want to complain, which is par for conservatives. The conservative House just turned down a request for extra money to use in addressing the crisis and have failed to act on immigration reform. Remember outside of conservative LaLa land's talking points the fact is only one man has sought and passed any amnesty and his name was Ronald Reagan.

More importantly History will show how abusive and wasteful the Obama administration was in its tenure.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

Watching the 2 sides on TV last night was a truly nauseating experience. Politics in the US has become almost farcical of late.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

More importantly History will show how abusive and wasteful the Obama administration was in its tenure.

Not likely. It's more likely going to show how Obama got handed a country in the midst of two unpaid wars, on the verge of collapse, at the start of a huge recession, and managed not only to prevent the economy from collapsing, but eventually managing to recover the unemployment rate to pre-recession levels. It will show how the debt did blow up during his presidency, but it will include the facts that this happened as a result of having to pay for two wars and rebooting the country in a recession.

If you burn down our timeshare, and I come in and pay to get it fixed, who do you think is going to get the blame for the costs, you, or me?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Republicans will probably approving of the funding at some point, but they want the headlines to drag out a little longer.

Look into the labor participation rate. The worst since Carter! It will show how the debt did blow up during his presidency, but it will include the facts that this happened as a result of having to pay for two wars and rebooting the country in a recession. Ask recent College grads if we are still in recession. Many can't find jobs!

If you burn down our timeshare, and I come in and pay to get it fixed, who do you think is going to get the blame for the costs, you, or me? Silly analogy. A US president is in TEMPORARY power. They are not OWNERS.

@stranger

You can definitely guarantee that history will show how unreasonable the republicans have been throughout his presidency.

Obama never gave them a reason NOT to be. If you want to gain respect, you have to give it, Obama didn't, so what do you expect?

They have literally brought the country to a halt.

And Obama is single-handedly destroying the country, which is far worse!

Whether or not Obama will also take some flak in the history book remains to be seen,

Ohhh, he will, he really will.

but he will definitely receive praise for all the good things he's done.

Like what?

Not likely. It's more likely going to show how Obama got handed a country in the midst of two unpaid wars, on the verge of collapse, at the start of a huge recession, and managed not only to prevent the economy from collapsing, but eventually managing to recover the unemployment rate to pre-recession levels. Obama did do that, but now the country is BACK on the slide and the economy is NOT good, every economist knows this, don't even try to spin this on JT as if the economy is roaring like in the 80's, it's NOT! We still have a $17 Trillion debt. Look at Afghanistan what did he do there? Another botched situation. So if you want, Stranger, we can list Obama's failures and there are a lot of them. Stop being partisan.

If you burn down our timeshare, and I come in and pay to get it fixed, who do you think is going to get the blame for the costs, you, or me?

Dumb! The man was elected to fix the economy, which is tanking, stop the war, NOT encourage Al Qaeda to retake it! It is his fault, NOT Bush's or Reagan or Nixon's or Lincoln's, it is OBAMA'S. Live with it.

2 more years until the madness ends!

@notasap

And NOW many more are coming back OTM (Other Than Mexicans) and if you have been following the news, they are coming from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala. There has been a surge of these people coming in. We have over 90,000 and once their parents get here that will bring the number to about 200,000, excuse me, who's sending these people back? Obama sure as hell is NOT and the Republicans CAN'T since they are NOT in charge, yeah, they are obstructing the president from doing his job and deporting them. Hey, why doesn't he use his pen and phone to bypass the Republicans to get these people out?

The conservative House just turned down a request for extra money to use in addressing the crisis and have failed to act on immigration reform. Remember outside of conservative LaLa land's talking points the fact is only one man has sought and passed any amnesty and his name was Ronald Reagan.

And looking back in hindsight, Reagan realized that it was the wrong thing to do. Republicans won't make that kind of mistake again.

@wakarimasen

Yeah, kinda, but name me a country where politics is NOT a circus.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Silly analogy. A US president is in TEMPORARY power. They are not OWNERS.

It appears you don't understand how a timeshare works.

If you want to gain respect, you have to give it, Obama didn't, so what do you expect?

Ridiculous. He pandered to the republicans his entire first term, to the point that it caused discontent in the democrats. The republicans never had any intention of playing along - even for the better of the country - from the moment he was voted in.

Other than that, I can see you keep spitting the same delusions over and over. But history will show me to be right.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Again President Obama! Now lets shift the blame on the other guys. At some point even your most loyal supporters will see your childish tactics.

Mark and bass...luckily for America most U.S. voters do not have a memory as selective as you two and the talking heads on Fox News. But just please answer two simple questions with no semantics or equivocating. First, who is refusing to bring the bi-partisan Senate immigration bill to the floor of the House for a vote? Second, who famously said that the Iraqi's would welcome us when we destroyed their country and declared "Mission Accomplished" simply because Hussein had fallen? You guys crack me up.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

"How is the crisis Obama's fault? He is deporting more illegal aliens than the last president... "

Sorry, but that's simply incorrect as how the numbers are being counted has changed. Returns/rejections at the border are now being counted as deportations which is just a shell game.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Ridiculous. He pandered to the republicans his entire first term, to the point that it caused discontent in the democrats. The republicans never had any intention of playing along - even for the better of the country - from the moment he was voted in.

That is a flat out lie! For the first 3 years of the Obama admin., the Democrats controlled all 3 branches of government: The presidency, the Senate and the House and they pushed every liberal legislation through and the only thing the Republicans could do was watch and take it up the pipe. They were powerless to do anything, until the people got tired and felt they were being overtaxed which resulted in the birth of the Tea party and the House being turned over to the Republicans, YES, it was Obama and the liberals fault! Obama swore he would end bipartisan politics, in fact, he made it worse, constantly invoking race if you on any occasion disagree with his policies. Stranger, sometimes you really baffle me.....

Mark and bass...luckily for America most U.S. voters do not have a memory as selective as you two and the talking heads on Fox News.

At least they don't suck up to the president like all the other networks including the WH msnbc in the tank for Obama network where Obama doing ANYTHING wrong is just unheard of and quite frankly impossible!

But just please answer two simple questions with no semantics or equivocating. First, who is refusing to bring the bi-partisan Senate immigration bill to the floor of the House for a vote?

The Republicans, because they don't trust this guy and seen how sneaky he is and won't give him that bone to give amnesty to potentially 200,000 aliens. Why would they, they would be idiots if they did.

Second, who famously said that the Iraqi's would welcome us when we destroyed their country and declared "Mission Accomplished" simply because Hussein had fallen? You guys crack me up.

Sorry, it was the Sectarian violence that destroyed the country.

Bush and Cheney, to answer your question

Now let me ask you a question, who was it that said, when they troops leave Iraq and Afghanistan, it will be a success story and they Iraqis will greet the Americans as liberators? In 2008 and 2011. Who said that? You libs are really the funny ones.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

... the Democrats controlled all 3 branches of government: The presidency, the Senate and the House....

The Senate and House compose Congress, which is a single branch of government. You're probably confused by the Supreme Court, which, though officially non-partisan, has a definite conservative lean.

Perhaps you should study the Constitution a bit.

Sorry, but that's simply incorrect as how the numbers are being counted has changed. Returns/rejections at the border are now being counted as deportations which is just a shell game.

Sorry, John - you are incorrect. "Deportations" can be divided into two types: "returns," meaning those caught at the border and sent back with little ado, and "removals," meaning those who have established a life in the US without legal authorization are sent back. While returns have fallen steeply over the past few years, this reflects a fewer number of Mexican citizens trying to enter the US illegally due to fewer job opportunities in the US and more in Mexico. Removals, though, have more than doubled, from just under 200,000 in Bush's first year to over 400,000 in 2012. In fact, the peak of removals during Bush's term never reached the lowest point during Obama's.

Beyond me? It seems like you are the only person who does not bother to find out how WE, the Democrats stand on this core issue. Hello, you NEED TO LISTEN. You are confused.

The Democrats support comprehensive immigration reform that upholds the rule of law and is tough on lawbreakers and fair to taxpayers. Any solution to fix our immigration system must ensure that employers hire only those who are legally authorized to work in the United States, make our country safer by preventing drug-traffickers and terrorists from entering the United States, and improve the legal channels to enter our country

Time is running out. The Republicans in the House need to act for the ultimate goal. Stop politics, and start working for the policy.

Average Joe is beginning to see GOP's dirty laundry lists. Why does Mr. BooBoo want to legally challenge Obama (I am trying to be polite.) for what he is supposed to do ? . You know the bill for the Emergency Fund needs to start from the House, if you know the Constitution of United States.

The GOP WILL NOT pass this bill waiting Obama to make a first wrong move. The GOP is setting up a trap for Obama to cross this level of authority, so that he is violating the Article of Constitution.. I hope everyone sees this dirty GOP trap the way I see it!!

Which had a Democratic leading majority, Yes, I am aware and that's why things got so mucked up, because if not, you guys would still control the House and kept your majority, but y'all got too greedy.

You're probably confused by the Supreme Court, which, though officially non-partisan, has a definite conservative lean.

No, I'm not and Thank God for that!!!!

No, I'm NOT, my mom is a huge bonified, certified, proud, raging liberal and Democrat, believe me, all my life I learned (force-fed) the liberal narrative, so I know where you guys stand.

The Democrats support comprehensive immigration reform that upholds the rule of law and is tough on lawbreakers and fair to taxpayers.

So why would you guys allow so many illegals in and NOT deport them on the spot?

Any solution to fix our immigration system must ensure that employers hire only those who are legally authorized to work in the United States, make our country safer by preventing drug-traffickers and terrorists from entering the United States, and improve the legal channels to enter our country

So then you DO agree to putting the National Guard along the border to help and assist the border patrol agents and building a fence. Took some time, but thanks for clarifying your position, I too, am in total agreement with that.

Time is running out. The Republicans in the House need to act for the ultimate goal. Stop politics, and start working for the policy.

It's not up to them, it's all the presidential policies that got us into this mess. The Republicans and the Democrats are NOT the leaders. Presidential Executive order: DACA=Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals. Congress didn't do that! When you speak of congress, you mean BOTH the SENATE and THE HOUSE. The Dems have blocked EVERY SINGLE House bill, Reid won't allow votes. And Boehner isn't going to allow votes on Reid's Amnesty bills. This is completely a presidential problem!

Average Joe is beginning to see GOP's dirty laundry lists.

For wanting to have secure and blocked borders, how dare they!!!!!

Why does Mr. BooBoo want to legally challenge Obama (I am trying to be polite.) for what he is supposed to do ? . You know the bill for the Emergency Fund needs to start from the House, if you know the Constitution of United States.

It wouldn't be the first time that Obama wasted money. Where is he? Why is he not at the border? This is is Katrina moment, Oh, I remember, it took him two weeks to get out to see the BP oil spill. Again, this guy doesn't care at all. As I just said, congress comprises of both parties. The Republicans will NOT budge on this, nor should they.

The GOP WILL NOT pass this bill waiting Obama to make a first wrong move. The GOP is setting up a trap for Obama to cross this level of authority, so that he is violating the Article of Constitution.. I hope everyone sees this dirty GOP trap the way I see it!!

Obama wants over $3.7 Billion to help with this situation and yet, he doesn't want to spend money on sending the National Guard and or even sending money for our troops to combat the growing threat of radical terrorism. The president has violated the constitution so many times, that's why he was put back in his place by the Supreme Court the other week. Funny and this joker was a constitutional law professor, I think his credentials are as valid as a toy in a Cracker Jack box.

My prayer is for Obama, so that he will be able to do what is the best interest of United States of America.

That would be an absolute first. And my prayer will be that the next 2 years will come swiftly!

Hopefully until after the Republicans retake the Senate and after that, they can work on a comprehensive immigration bill. They're not going to be suckered in to their demands this time and screw up their chances to retake the Senate, can't say, I blame them.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I'm having a hard time figuring out what their plan is unless it's to drag this out as long as possible.

Yup, what you and globalwatcher said are both quite valid. Interestingly, though, there are voices on the right pointing out the dangers in this strategy - that, with November approaching, the GOP will be seen focusing on obstructing immigration on one hand and wasting time with a frivolous lawsuit against Obama on the other. (You can add to this another possible government shutdown.) This is in no way in their best interest, but they can't seem to help it.

They have now trapped themselves into a two-step narrative that goes as such: 1. We will not consider any Democratic proposals, preferring ours instead; and 2. we will not make any concrete proposals because we don't trust the President to carry them out anyway. (The second step was ingenious: Republicans are terrified of making any concrete proposal for the fear that the Democrats might just take them up on their offer, thus moving things along and incidentally handing Obama a victory.)

globalwatcher and bass4funk, that ends the tit-for-tat between you two. Please do not address each other any further on this thread.

bass: his holiness is NOT a God, but merely a mortal man.

Ok, so we've noted for the record that Obama isn't a God, but is in fact a man. Carry on.

Laguna: This is in no way in their best interest, but they can't seem to help it.

Republicans are in an impossible situation. Any steps they could take to grow their base will put a target on the back of any Republican who supports it. Some Republicans probably want to grab more of the middle but what's the point if they are voted out of office before anything gets done?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Ok, so we've noted for the record that Obama isn't a God, but is in fact a man. Carry on.

I think so, but tell Obama that, because for some reason, he isn't aware of it.

Republicans are in an impossible situation. Any steps they could take to grow their base will put a target on the back of any Republican who supports it. Some Republicans probably want to grab more of the middle but what's the point if they are voted out of office before anything gets done?

That is always the possibility, but there is also another conundrum and that is, the people are already fed up with the liberal policies that the Dems have taken the country. November is just around the corner and the Republicans are NOT going to try to blow it, although Obama and the Dems are trying hard that they do, here is where partisan politics come into play. Neither side is backing down. The Republicans are in a very good position, I will just submit to you, they need to stop talking about impeaching the president, it's just something NOT Kosher and historically, with the exception of Nixon, it won't work. You Global, Strange and all the other libs think that we should just have an open border and allow everyone to come in. As I said before, where should it end, where do you draw the line? Congress, both parties are never going to come to any agreements. Even many of the Dems are NOT happy with this and want the president to take action since this is his mess. Obama is the one that is in a bind, sagging disapproval numbers, public trust down. He owns it, he's got egg on his face, let him wallow in his own juices.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

You Global, Strange and all the other libs think that we should just have an open border and allow everyone to come in.

Bass, please listen very closely here: Obama. Does. Not. Want. An. Open. Border. What part of funding to increase Border Patrol numbers, speed up deportation processes, and advertising in Central American countries that their children will be sent back if they come do you not understand?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

please listen very closely here: Obama. Does. Not. Want. An. Open. Border. What part of funding to increase Border Patrol numbers, speed up deportation processes, and advertising in Central American countries that their children will be sent back if they come do you not understand?

So why doesn't he put the National Guard down there? For some reason, you liberals think Obama and the Dems long to have a closed border and that's NOT the case. If Obama were serious, he'd put a stop to this immediately, but he won't! Stop backing this guy! You know it's true.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

and while greedy, evil up to no good REPUBLICANS go on with their usually dirty tricks to NOT support anything a BLACK president wants to do to HELP the USA and its poorer neighbors in Central America, many hundreds of children will continue to DIE in their travels from Central America up to the US border. How can we have billions and trillions of $$$$$ to pay for stupid, useless wars in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN, etc...but not one single CENT to help innocent children from starving?? From being prayed upon by traffickers etc..from that extremely dangerous journey from Central America all the way up to the USA border with Mexico?? It just strikes me as WRONG and EVIL for such a rich country to be so cold not caring about its poorest and nearest neighbors!! When poor, hungry people see that the USA does not care about them, guess what?? Yes, those poor CUBAN doctors, spies etc..or from VENEZUELA start to look really appealing!!

0 ( +3 / -3 )

So why doesn't he put the National Guard down there?

Actually, he told Perry he'd be happy to as long as longer-term issues were addressed - a sop to Perry, but let's never say that Obama is not in tune with politics.

There are several reasons why putting the guard on the border is a waste of time. Among these are that the guard is not trained for this, that it would be more expensive than simply beefing up the patrol, that it would be a temporary measure, and legal reasons - would Iowa Guardsmen answer to Perry or whoever is governor of Iowa?

Most importantly, though, is the nature of this border rush. The border patrol does not prevent illegal entry; it primarily apprehends those who have already entered. Now, to be sure, its conspicuous existence might likely deter a Mexican, who is quite aware that being apprehended is a huge waste of time, but this will not work with Central American minors, who may well want to be apprehended anyway.

It is a bit complicated, to be sure, but perhaps you can grasp this.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

The USA needs to secure its borders and have controlled immigration. This is Obama's "Katrina".

2 ( +5 / -3 )

The Republicans, because they don't trust this guy and seen how sneaky he is and won't give him that bone to give amnesty to potentially 200,000 aliens. Why would they, they would be idiots if they did.

bass -- pure childish nonsense. As you full well know, or should, 14 Republicans voted for the Senate Bill. And Boehner won't bring it up because he knows it would pass, and that would completely piss-off the Tea Party folks, who he needs in the upcoming fall elections.

Sorry, it was the Sectarian violence that destroyed the country.

Agreed. And that is why then Secretary of State Colin Powell famously asked to Bush before the invasion that "once you break it, you own it, so are you prepared for the consequences"? And Bush charged ahead anyway.

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Here's a conspiracy theory -- any chance that the border chaos, mainly impacting Texas, is a veiled attempt to shade the Lone Star State from Red to Blue through the influx of illegal aliens many of whom would gravitate to the party that promises them the most free stuff? If so, the odds that the GOP could ever win a national election would diminish significantly. Hope I'm wrong about this...

2 ( +2 / -0 )

bass4funk -- did you read today's op ed in the NY Times written by Buffett, Gates and Adelman? Basically blows a hole in your whole argument, and clearly points the finger on all this where it belongs -- the Republican-led House. Which is intent on playing politics rather than passing legislation.

The GOP needs to ACT. No more politics, start working for policy!!

Lets see if these recent illegals are repatriated or not. The $3.7B is for assimilation of the current 60,000, not for returning. How much more $$$ will be needed for the next 60,000 in the next few months? Use the money to CLOSE that porous border today!

Using these children for political gains as the Current administration in power is doing. They are calling them asylum seekers. Thats BS!!! They are financial gain seekers.

I would like to know how many of the young girls were raped or abducted into the sex industry in Mexico. The folk these kids are dealing with are not nice people. They are in it for the dollars only.

and while greedy, evil up to no good REPUBLICANS go on with their usually dirty tricks to NOT support anything a BLACK president wants to do to HELP the USA and its poorer neighbors in Central America, many hundreds of children will continue to DIE in their travels from Central America up to the US border.

Funny, liberals don't care if radical terrorism hits our shores, NO, we shouldn't fight in other countries, even if they try to kill us, but it's Ok to send billions to Latin American countries that are corrupt, allow the drug cartels to take over and think that if they can't manage their own country, just send their kids over by the truck loads flooding the country and overwhelming the system entirely. AND STOP WITH THE RACE CARD CRAP TALK! People dislike Obama because of his policies NOT because he's Black! Without the White vote he would have NEVER gotten into office! Get over it! Yes, you have a few racists, but that's in every society. How about all those racists that taunted and wished Bush dead, do they get a pass? Blacks and Hispanics can hate on Bush, but Whites can't hate on Obama? Racism goes both ways, remember that!

It just strikes me as WRONG and EVIL for such a rich country to be so cold not caring about its poorest and nearest neighbors!!

It strikes me why these poor countries don't go somewhere else. Try Canada, they need people and they have the space. I am for immigration as long as it's legal and done by the books! That IS caring, NOT allowing every single person into this county without knowing who and where they came from just because, they feel the need to come and cut in line over people that have played by the rules. That is WRONG, EVIL and grossly IRRESPONSIBLE and SELFISH!

Priorities mixed??! Yeah, only liberals could screw up that bad. Am I surprised? Hardly.

@laguna

Most importantly, though, is the nature of this border rush. The border patrol does not prevent illegal entry; it primarily apprehends those who have already entered.

Then put the National Guard alongside with the border patrol and build a better efficient fence.

@Kaz

The USA needs to secure its borders and have controlled immigration. This is Obama's "Katrina".

Yes, 110% Correct! Remember the BP oil spill, it took the anointed one 2 weeks before his majesty decided to come and gaze at all the damage and the border, No Thanks! Obama, he cares.....yawn...

@jersey

pure childish nonsense. As you full well know, or should, 14 Republicans voted for the Senate Bill. And Boehner won't bring it up because he knows it would pass, and that would completely piss-off the Tea Party folks, who he needs in the upcoming fall elections.

I agree, smart move. That's what I would do. That's called politics. If Lois Lerner can say, the dog ate her Hard Drive and Susan Rice can say a video caused an uprising, what's wrong if Republicans play politics, they want to be in control of this out of control president and the president and his party want to stay in power and further muck things up. Personally, I don't have a lot of love for most politicians, but if you decide to get in that business, you are going to have to play hardball and that is what these guys are doing. Just depends which fence are you on. You are either for Big government or less government. I choose less government. So good on the Republicans.

Agreed. And that is why then Secretary of State Colin Powell famously asked to Bush before the invasion that "once you break it, you own it, so are you prepared for the consequences"? And Bush charged ahead anyway.

Yes. Likewise and in 2007, Bush said the same thing about pulling out too early that the consequences would be so severe that it would leave a vacuum in that country and the terrorists would come back and we might have to turn at a later date. So now what is our brilliant president going to do since he now owns it? Also Jersey, I hate to bring this to you, we sadly can't keep blaming the Republicans for failed Liberal policies, I know that's what you hope, want and wish, but the fact of the matter is, Obama is president and NO one except for Obamabots and his subjects loyalists believe he is innocent of ANY wrongdoing. Again, if Obama would be doing that great, there would be NO way that the Republicans could retake the Senate and gain seats in the House. That's the people. The people are tired of this guy, look at EVERY POLL. And the last 6 months of the mess that Obama has made is further pushing the American people away from this loon, the border situation is the last nail in his coffin and good so. He needs to be put in his place and stopped. Give credit where credit is due now.

If the president wants anything to get done, he needs to be sincere and forthcoming and I will say this once again: It's not up to them (congress), it's all the presidential policies that got us into this mess. This is completely a presidential problem!

spahnmatthew:

" Here's a conspiracy theory -- any chance that the border chaos, mainly impacting Texas, is a veiled attempt to shade the Lone Star State from Red to Blue through the influx of illegal aliens many of whom would gravitate to the party that promises them the most free stuff? "

That is not much of a conspiracy theory, that is pretty much just stating the obvious. Dick Morris already pointed out several election cycles ago that the demographic development alone will guarantee a democrat party monopoly on power in the long term. The only thing new here is the mind-boggling speed at which the current administration has accelerated the process.

Bass, you have to be kidding me! Sure, good white people voted for Mr.Obama, but how about all of the evil, greedy bastards in Congress and the US Senate?? Oh, 99.9999% White and oh, as long as a BLACK, ARTICULATE man got kind of lucky and ended up in the WHITE HOUSE, you can bet the rich, old money CORRUPT 1% of these Rush Limbaugh loving REPUBLICANS have only 1 thing in their minds, POWER!! If they can not be in the WHITE HOUSE, have fun screwing up anything and everything the US president is trying to pass to HELP the USA and the MAJORITY of Americans, not only the filthy rich 1%!! I hope and pray that our US president Barack Obama is never hurt, killed etc..but you know, America is also the land of the KKK, etc...and all it takes is for one INSIDER, some idiot on the INSIDE working as presidential security etc..but to actually be a KKK in a necktie and Rayban sunglasses to do something evil, which if anybody knows how EVIL racist bastards in the USA are, you will know that they will do anything for POWER!! So back to the poor kids from Central America issue, I am surprised to not reading about the racist MINUTE MEN, maybe they would enjoy shooting and hunting little, poor, starving kids from Central America?? Funny to not be hearing from these so called GOD FEARING patriots?? This is not only SHAMEFUL but the whole WORLD is looking at the USA and saying, what the hell is such a rich country doing and NOT HELPING their poorest neighbors!!!

@Elbuda Mexicano

plus 1 for the rant.

P.S.

I think they call them the 0.01% now.

Dick Morris ?

I would not put too much faith in this guy. He was busted with a prostitute and lied to authority..

Obama doesn't believe that the US is a sovereign nation that should have a border. He wants the poor from failing socialist states and dictatorships to freely come to America and bring their anti-American ideology with them. What is left of the American middle class will be responsible to take care of them. He doesn't believe there is enough poverty in America so he is importing it. More poor means more welfare and more votes for Democrats. The Messiah is well on His way to fundamentally transforming (read: destructing) the nation into his idea of a Progressive utopia.

@Laguna

Obama. Does. Not. Want. An. Open. Border. What part of funding to increase Border Patrol numbers, speed up deportation processes, and advertising in Central American countries that their children will be sent back if they come do you not understand?

What part of Obama's push for amnesty for illegal aliens do you not understand? The US tried amnesty and it didn't work. In fact it resulted in even more illegal immigration. The illegal aliens causing the current border crisis are being disbursed throughout America and released from custody. If security at the border is so great why is there an illegal immigration crisis there now? Obama laid out the red carpet to illegal immigration by illegally granting amnesty to certain segments of the illegal population. Not coincidentally tens of thousands of that particular population are swarming the countries southern border. Obama has let security at the border languish by insisting on amnesty. He has wasted nearly six years doing essentially nothing but inflaming the situation and dividing the country for crass political purposes.

I'm born and raised in Chicago what has OBama did for the city that had 15 deaths 82 shooting on th 4th of July weekend. The answer is nothing this guy has lead a trail of failure every place he has been. For all of the people crying poor Latin American children my question to you is in 15 years when these kids come here get all th benefits of free schooling and free college paid for they will be the same people crying they don't want to pay for American kids born and raised here to get an education their excuse would be th American kids were born here they came across the desert and the American kids had an advantage what I'm saying is it your parents make over 60,000 a year you get no government grants for college education these kids are getting all expenses paid to Harvard and Stanford where the American kids are coming out of college in debt. If it were a black child from Haiti coming across I to Florida risking heir lives they turn them around in the middle of the ocean. America is a racist country and will soon be a third world country speaking spanish a with corruption and total collapse. These people are sponges and out government expect the US tax papers to pay the bills I say send the bill to those countries who allow these kids to come hereObama equals FAILURE I am democratic but his policies are nothing but a failure he runs the White House like a gangster from Chicago and believe I lived their for 22.5 years born and raised this guess is nothing but confused and an arrogant president who has done nothing but been on vacation on his entir term. No other country respects Obama look at the Middle East, Japan now gets its own military I don't blame them because this whole changes his mind every nanosecond

@Bass

Obama is single-handedly destroying the country

Didn't know the executive branch had that much power.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

@plasticmonkey

Didn't know the executive branch had that much power

I didn't either but Obama has no use for the democratic process so with his "pen and phone" he just unilaterally makes his own laws. Having enacted amnesty for children without bothering with the cumbersome and inefficient legislative process, Obama is dumbstruck that the border is being flooded by children.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

""Deportations" can be divided into two types: "returns," meaning those caught at the border and sent back with little ado, and "removals," meaning those who have established a life in the US without legal authorization are sent back. While returns have fallen steeply over the past few years, this reflects a fewer number of Mexican citizens trying to enter the US illegally due to fewer job opportunities in the US and more in Mexico. Removals, though, have more than doubled, from just under 200,000 in Bush's first year to over 400,000 in 2012."

Laguna just stumbled upon the fact that very many previously counted as "returns " have more recently been fudged into the "removals" number, Obama administration cooking the books. ;p

@globaswatcher: Sheldon Adelson, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates press Congress to pass immigration reform

Here is one from the Washington Post. I am actually very surprised that Adelson even joined with Gates and Buffett.

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Adelson acts on his belief in anything. He used to be a democrat. In this kind situations, successful businessmen act together. They have money and donate on causes they believe and not political when helping poor people. I know you like to accuse Adelson because he splash his money and he owns casinos but that is not all he does. There are schools and more he and his wife donated. Adelson is not as wealthy as Gates or Buffets but wealthy people get together all the time. Mrs Adelson (DR Adelson) even has been operating facilities to addicts (I mean alcoholic and gambling). And Adelson is not a candidate. In Nevada, it is kind of hard to tell who is dem or gop. Together they oppose Yucca Nuclear waste dump site and together they promoted Solar Energy power. Adelson of one of them opposing nuclear dump site plan and Harry Reid, too.

@Wolf

Obama has no use for the democratic process so with his "pen and phone" he just unilaterally makes his own laws.

I believe you're talking about executive orders. Here are the numbers, FYI, starting with Nixon. Who in this list made the most?

Richard Nixon 346

Gerald R. Ford 169

Jimmy Carter 320

Ronald Reagan 381

George H. W. Bush 166

William J. Clinton 364

George W. Bush 291

Barack Obama 180

In this issue, both GOP and DEM have people who want to send children back to where they come from and who want to relax refugee status. Main Governor, Hillary, all sort of politicians and potential Presidential candidates.

@teapartier

Ronald Reagan 381

Barack Obama 180

Thumbs down for that? I see. Someone out there doesn't like facts.

Good luck with your faith-based politics.
