"Political flaps"? That's what people are calling "treason" these days?

"Political flaps"? That's what people are calling "treason" these days?

Other way around. That's what they're calling "political flaps".

The AP, IRS and the Benghazi scandals are 3 things that just won't go away, this time Obama and his minions bit off more than they could chew. They tried to keep all of this under the radar and thought NO one would catch on and come back to bite them and it did. Eric Holder, Jay Carney, Louis Lerner, Hilary Clinton just to name a few should most definitely resign this thing has the potential of being bigger than Water Gate. Heard a story the other day about 2 guitar makers. One was Gibson and the other Dean Markley. Gibson was audited about 3 times for importing exotic woods from countries like South America and India, had to pay thousands of dollars in legal fees and penalties and Dean M. That uses most of the same woods did not. Both were huge campaign contributers, but that's where they differ. Gibson, a staunch conservative donated thousands of Dollars to the Republican and other conservative parties and Dean to liberal parties and a strong Obama supporter. Nothing wrong with it, until you see how much they are alike as far as business's practices are concerned, but politically, they are so far apart and now we know for certain that the IRS were targeting people like Gibson-Henry Juszkiewicz for NO reason whatsoever! This is an absolute shame! All these thugs should rot in jail!

One was Gibson and the other Dean Markley.

Sadly, this does explain a lot, what was going on with Gibson. Seemed really weird the way the government was going after them. With the IRS scandal showing they were targeting the political enemies, suddenly things become very, very clear.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Wow, a 48% approval rating? Congress must be jealous; their approval rating is 15%. The GOP has a favorability rating of 38% and unfavorable of 54%, while the Dems are 46 and 48%, respectively.

bass4funk: Both were huge campaign contributers, but that's where they differ. Gibson, a staunch conservative donated thousands of Dollars to the Republican and other conservative parties and Dean to liberal parties and a strong Obama supporter.

From what I'm seeing, the Gibson CEO donated about $3,500 to Republicans. That's probably why he shot to the top of Obama's hit list.

Benghazi is a manufactured scandal that only resonates with the bitter Republican minority. Nine months of hearings and nothing that people care about. It's crazy to think you will actually get votes in 2014 because of this, which is the plan. The Onion sums it up perfectly: http://www.theonion.com/articles/nation-supposes-its-outraged-by-white-house-scanda,3248/

It looks like the IRS is accused of picking out 75 tax dodging Tea Party groups. Sooner or later the focus will be about the tax dodging issues and the Conservatives who have pumped tens of millions of dollars into them.

So far we have Obama targeting a $3,500 Republican campaign donor and 75 tax dodgers. Yep, he sure was looking to make a dent in the Republican machine.

The AP? I wonder how many laws the US government used that were created under Bush.

All of these scandals and Obama's approval dropped a whopping 3%. Get it?

It amazes me how liberals are ONLY concerned with ONE thing, Obama's approval rating. How he rules the country and he and his admin are constantly lying to the American people is NOT important at all, but his ratings are? But yeah, I get it, being from CA. Bring the "I don't care party, just let me do whatever I want and don't judge me" have totally destroyed most of my state. Unbelievable, but so typical.

@super

Benghazi is a manufactured scandal that only resonates with the bitter Republican minority.

I think you are totally living on Bizarro world. If ANYONE manufactured anything then you need to start with the WH and when Susan Rice started to blame the riots on 9/11 on a stupid video.

http://www.wnd.com/2013/05/video-maker-blamed-for-benghazi-remains-jailed/

Nine months of hearings and nothing that people care about.

I keep forgetting, liberals don't care if the families don't get ANY answers about the details as to what exactly happened. They aren't entitled to it, because Washington says, it's nothing, then it has to be so, right?

http://thelead.blogs.cnn.com/2013/05/09/mother-of-benghazi-victim-hearing-didnt-give-answers/

http://t.mediaite.com/mediaite/#!/entry/on-cnn-mother-of-slain-benghazi-victim-excoriates-hillary-clinton,518974a3da27f5d9d0be5625/1

It's crazy to think you will actually get votes in 2014 because of this, which is the plan.

Keep telling yourself that. However, for the sake of argument, let's say, you were right, it would be no different than what Obama and his minions did during the election to ensure that they would win no matter what and drown out ANY scandal that could possibly derail the chances of the President to be elected. So by your upsurd argument, it would be fair game then.

The Onion sums it up perfectly: http://www.theonion.com/articles/nation-supposes-its-outraged-by-white-house-scanda,3248/

You're quoting "The Onion?" Are you serious???? Why not quote TMZ? Might as well. ROFL satirical news? Come on.

It looks like the IRS is accused of picking out 75 tax dodging Tea Party groups. Sooner or later the focus will be about the tax dodging issues and the Conservatives who have pumped tens of millions of dollars into them.

What the.....is wrong with you!!! The IRS investigating Conservatives is just? George Soros is the king of throwing millions of dollars towards liberal causes and campaigns, that'perfectly legit, but Conservatives are NOT allowed to do the same, And you believe that, but liberals get a pass??? My God have you been drinking the absolute sweetest Kool-aid! Under Lerner, they totally beyond overstepped their boundaries and abused their powers. If NOT, why did she plead the 5th at the hearings? If she is totally innocent of ANY wrong doing, there would be NO need to invoke the 5th?

So far we have Obama targeting a $3,500 Republican campaign donor and 75 tax dodgers. Yep, he sure was looking to make a dent in the Republican machine.

Well, we really won't know how many liberals were tax dodging since the IRS will only look into conservative records, because its just inconceivable that liberals would ever do anything like that "cough" The Clinton's...."cough" Louisiana congressman- William J. Jefferson stashing $90,000 in his freezer, but let me digress.

The AP? I wonder how many laws the US government used that were created under Bush.

Goes to show you, that you don't understand Anything about Journalism, this thing can and will have nasty repercussions on every reporter in the years to come. What happened to James Rosen at Fox, even got people like Keith Olbermann ( of all people) angry that the government is going out of their way to look at his private emails, phone records, his parents records, Eric holder signed off on the search. This has gotten liberal journalists equally up in arms about this, because they know it could happen to them, they they might be forced to give up their sources. This is deep water now.

All of these scandals and Obama's approval dropped a whopping 3%. Get it?

As I said, to you liberals, the ONLY thing that matters are Obama approval ratings and NOTHING else. But at least he got a Noble Peace prize for doing nothing, so I guess, that counts.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

It amazes me how liberals are ONLY concerned with ONE thing, Obama's approval rating.

The article was about Obama's approval rating...?

"I don't care party, just let me do whatever I want and don't judge me" have totally destroyed most of my state. Unbelievable, but so typical.

Are you allergic to talking specifics? Most of your comments are like, "This entire state is imploding all around me." How do you want people to respond?

You ignored my comment about $3,500 from the Gibson guy. I'm curious, did you know it was $3,500 or did your source leave that part out? Is someone really circulating a story trying to convince us that Obama is targeting a guy because he made a $3,500 donation? In what circles does that obviously bogus story actually generate outrage. Yours?

More Benghazi. I just don't think I'm going to make you understand that people outside of your bubble have moved on, and more importantly they don't trust Republicans on the issue. Endless anger isn't going to change that. Let's try The Onion link again: http://www.theonion.com/articles/nation-supposes-its-outraged-by-white-house-scanda,32486/. It's not meant to be news. It shows how Republicans only talk to each other.

The IRS investigating Conservatives is just?

The IRS investigating tax exempt groups is just, especially since quite a few "non-political" groups are just that. The question was how they choose which ones will face scrutiny. Obviously the type of search they did was wrong and the are and will catch hell for that. But do I believe it was something ordered from high up? Nope. Logic alone should tell you that 75 groups isn't a large enough number for a conspiracy. I believe the story that the workers tried to make their case load easier. I don't believe liberal groups were targeted because there is no word of group of words that can be used to search for a liberal group. Unless you can give me a few?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

@super

The article was about Obama's approval rating...?

No, but liberals are always talking about, how high his approval is, the issues now that are hurting the president is the last thing liberals are worried about as long as his approval ratings are high, it's all good.

Are you allergic to talking specifics? Most of your comments are like, "This entire state is imploding all around me." How do you want people to respond?

I'm not asking you to respond to anything, I don't need to belabor the issues, just make specific points, if you failed to notice, then you're not paying attention.

Yours?

What the....are you talking about, I didn't respond because it doesn't matter how much, Juszkiewicz donates, he has a right to donate as much as he wants as a private citizen. My beef is that it smells of fish and very, very suspicious that he gets audited for importing illegal, exotic woods, gets raided and pays millions in fines (but never charged with anything) and Dean Martin (his competitor) doesn't get the same treatment, never audited, nothing! And yet..

In stark contrast, Chris Martin IV - CEO of C. F. Martin, "is a long-time Democratic supporter, with $35,400 in contributions to Democratic candidates and the DNC over the past couple of election cycles."

Super how do YOU explain Martin's $35,400 donation to the Democratic Party? Right back at you, buddy!

So, super, it's basically ok, for Martin to Donate to the Democratic Party, but Jusskiewicz can't, because he's a conservative? Both companies mirror each other in the materials they use for their guitars and that's fair. I'm a bass player and the similarities are striking. so what is one to believe, if they take off their rosé-colored glasses? Gibson being targeted and audited was purely and solely political, pure and simple.

More Benghazi. I just don't think I'm going to make you understand that people outside of your bubble have moved on,

You perhaps, but not the families. You didn't have anyone that wasn't murdered there, so for you it's not a big thing, "out of sight, out of mind, right?" All the families want is to know what happened, the wH and Obama didn't get back to them, so they should move on and leave the President alone, because you liberals don't like it? Astounding!

and more importantly they don't trust Republicans on the issue.

Like my dad always told me, "truth" is like sunlight, it's the best disinfectant. All the liberal networks have been burying and trying to keep this story buried, FOX and to a lesser extent CNN are really the only networks that are keeping this story alive, more power to them. Until the family gets answers, never, ever let up.

Endless anger isn't going to change that.

Tell that to the families, I would like to be there when you do?

Let's try The Onion link again: http://www.theonion.com/articles/nation-supposes-its-outraged-by-white-house-scanda,32486/. It's not meant to be news. It shows how Republicans only talk to each other.

No, I know the onion very well, quoting from them is like quoting from John Stewart, he makes fun of everyone all the time and more recently Obama, so I should take him seriously as well, this is what you're telling me?

The IRS investigating Conservatives is just?

They are NOT in the business to investigate ONLY Conservatives, hack into their emails, check their phone records. Lerner taking the 5th clearly shows that she knew what her department was doing. She said, shed innocent, but if so, why take the 5th, there is NO way, I would do that, ever if I knew I was innocent. The proof is in the pudding.

The IRS investigating tax exempt groups is just, especially since quite a few "non-political" groups are just that. The question was how they choose which ones will face scrutiny. Obviously the type of search they did was wrong and the are and will catch hell for that.

They should be imprisoned.

But do I believe it was something ordered from high up? Nope.

Because you need to take off your liberal bias blinders first to see the facts.

Logic alone should tell you that 75 groups isn't a large enough number for a conspiracy.

Logic tells me that what you just said is a bunch of horse....! It's so obvious if you do a side by side comparison of the two parities and liberals are not being audited, but conservatives are? It is 110% a fact.

I believe the story that the workers tried to make their case load easier.

You keep telling yourself that. Lol

I don't believe liberal groups were targeted because there is no word of group of words that can be used to search for a liberal group. Unless you can give me a few?

I don't know how to convey this any clearer to you, if you don't believe conservatives were targeted, then fine, that is your prerogative. But You are in a small minority that believes that.

You just can't seem to grasp the bigger picture on anything.

About the approval ratings... What you don't get is that your party's approval ratings are utter crap, and you are in the astonishing position where most of the left and a very good portion of the right (your own party) don't approve of you. These aren't just numbers. They affect how people view you. It affects your credibility. It has an impact on everything you do and say and you guys just keep doing and saying the same things over and over again. What happened to the soul searching? These hearings drive you completely mad because you don't get why everyone else isn't mad with you. It's probably because they neither like nor trust you. As evidenced by the approval ratings.

Benghazi.... The angle about the family is a ploy to keep this dragging out as long as possible. People know that. And based on your approval ratings it's no surprise that you can't gain any traction. Want to see a funny skit? Check out SNL's skit with the Benghazi hearings and Jodi Arias. It's the same situation with the Onion. Your position is so transparent that people can write entire comedy sketches about it. And next you'll tell me the same Benghazi information over and over again and still not know why it doesn't change anything.

Gibson.... Just two questions for you here. 1) When you heard your story did the person give you the amounts or did he intentionally omit it? 2) Is it your position that a government agency targeting some and helping others over an amount of money that totals less than $40,000? If you answered yes to the second one then a lot of people (i.e. anyone who isn't far right) will smell paranoia. And your approval ratings don't help, either.

The IRS... Keep up the twisted arguments. You said that Liberals are not being audited. Prove it with sources. The case is about Tea Nutters being pull out for audits, not that no other group gets audited. The Tea Party is easy to pull out of the stack of thousands because their name and their use of the word Patriot (i.e. they are "real" Americans and have every right to do anything because they are true Americans saving the country). I told you to give me some search words that could single out liberal groups and I'm guessing you agree that there are no words that would do the trick. That means singling out liberal groups based on names is a useless task, but with the Tea Party it is not. And again....75 groups. Obviously not a coordinated conspiracy or else it's one of the worst uses of resources to create a conspiracy, ever. Republicans can get traction out of this because people hate the IRS, not because people support Republicans. Approval ratings and all that.

And Fox News is covering the story hard? Ya don't say. Do you even not know how people view Fox News? Missing the bigger picture again?

Y'all wanna read a funny joke??

Get a load of this:

"My Administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government."

Barack Hussein Obama

.

But wait, there's more. Try out this delicious brand of kool-aid:

"Government should be transparent. Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing. Information maintained by the Federal Government is a national asset. My Administration will take appropriate action, consistent with law and policy, to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use. Executive departments and agencies should harness new technologies to put information about their operations and decisions online and readily available to the public. Executive departments and agencies should also solicit public feedback to identify information of greatest use to the public."

@super

About the approval ratings... What you don't get is that your party's approval ratings are utter crap, and you are in the astonishing position where most of the left and a very good portion of the right (your own party) don't approve of you.

We are talking about Obama, OBAMA, the Republican Party is NOT in power. You keep losing site of that, period.

These aren't just numbers. They affect how people view you. It affects your credibility. It has an impact on everything you do and say and you guys just keep doing and saying the same things over and over again. What happened to the soul searching?

I ask this about Obama and the liberals EVERY single day.

These hearings drive you completely mad because you don't get why everyone else isn't mad with you. It's probably because they neither like nor trust you. As evidenced by the approval ratings.

Whatever are you talking about?

Benghazi.... The angle about the family is a ploy to keep this dragging out as long as possible.

As they should, until they get the answers as to who was responsible for this.

People know that.

Yes, that's why, the families and FOX and CNN won't back down until they do.

As you keep ranting about Republican ratings as if Bush were still the President.

Gibson.... Just two questions for you here. 1) When you heard your story did the person give you the amounts or did he intentionally omit it? 2) Is it your position that a government agency targeting some and helping others over an amount of money that totals less than $40,000?

Again, what in blazes are you talking about??? I said, the IRS is NOT in the business of spying and checking up on people solely because they are Conservative. so Liberals get a pass, but Conservatives should be highly scrutinized?? Who cares about the amount! The organization should be fair and leave the partisan politics aside and I'll ask you again, Lerner taking the 5th means, what? She's innocent? The accusations are unfounded? She had absolutely NO knowledge as to what her organization was doing to conservatives? You bought that line.

If you answered yes to the second one then a lot of people (i.e. anyone who isn't far right) will smell paranoia. And your approval ratings don't help, either.

You are too funny, you keep blabbing about approval ratings, it's not paranoia, it is what it is and in Gibson, Martin's case, that is even more blatant. Two guitar makers, both carrying the same kinds of woods and a lot that are exotic, but both CEOs are big contributors to their respective parties. Gibson, Rep/Conserv. Gets audited, Martin, Dem/Lib, NO audit.

The IRS... Keep up the twisted arguments.

Well, I guess, ALL the national, local and international media are getting this whole IRS debacle twisted, right?

You said that Liberals are not being audited. Prove it with sources.

How can I since it is them that are in charge and the woman that is leading the IRS won't testify on ANY of it, pleading the 5th, if that doesn't smell like guilt, then I don't know what else to tell you. You believe what you want. Some people will never believe anything, no matter what and how you present them facts.

The case is about Tea Nutters being pull out for audits, not that no other group gets audited. The Tea Party is easy to pull out of the stack of thousands because their name and their use of the word Patriot (i.e. they are "real" Americans and have every right to do anything because they are true Americans saving the country).

So that means, because Obama wants to waste more of our money, we just have to bend over and take it, that makes us NON-Americans, because I want to have a choice as to how my money is spent and NOT blindly fork it over for Obama to waste on failed green projects? Then I'm a bad American.

I told you to give me some search words that could single out liberal groups and I'm guessing you agree that there are no words that would do the trick.

I already explained it to you. There are NO conservatives in charge that are handling these audits, otherwise, we'd have a clearer picture.

That means singling out liberal groups based on names is a useless task, but with the Tea Party it is not.

So you are implying that Conservatives ARE fair game and liberals aren't and shouldn't, which means, shut them Conservatives up!

And again....75 groups. Obviously not a coordinated conspiracy or else it's one of the worst uses of resources to create a conspiracy, ever. Republicans can get traction out of this because people hate the IRS, not because people support Republicans. Approval ratings and all that.

Wow! Lol

And Fox News is covering the story hard? Ya don't say. Do you even not know how people view Fox News? Missing the bigger picture again?

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/05/31/cable-news-ratings-for-thursday-may-30-2013/185233/

According to the latest Nielson ratings, I guess, I can see clearly how people view FOX, thanks for the kind update, Super!

I see, because FOX (you left out CNN, but I see where your focus is) it just can't possibly be true, so we should tune in to Msnbc or PBS or Al Jeezera and Current to get the proper news, because they can and would bury the story, so it would be better for them to cover it, I mean, who cares what conservatives and traditional Americans think, their opinions don't count, only the Liberal way of thinking counts. LMFAO.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

the Republican Party is NOT in power. You keep losing site of that, period.

Actually, I think you are the one losing site of that.

You are too funny, you keep blabbing about approval ratings

I fully intend to. You don't seem to understand that your lack of credibility in the eyes of America undercuts everything you say.

So that means, because Obama wants to waste more of our money, we just have to bend over and take it, that makes us NON-Americans, because I want to have a choice as to how my money is spent and NOT blindly fork it over for Obama to waste on failed green projects? Then I'm a bad American.

Here we go again.... You are too emotional. Obama is not out to get you.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Actually, I think you are the one losing site of that.

What, that for liberals the ONLY thing that matters is that Obama is held in high regard and that his approval rating remains high? News flash: Obama can't run for a 3rd term (Yippie) So, yeah, hold on to his approval and keep it close, because 4 years will come and go. We will all get through this nightmare.

I fully intend to. You don't seem to understand that your lack of credibility in the eyes of America undercuts everything you say.

My credibility??? Uh, I am NOT the one under fire. And please, stop saying Americans as if you know and can decide for all Americans. I usually never do this, but even the Obama network is ticked off and can't look the other way on this.

http://tv.msnbc.com/2013/05/30/poll-4-in-1-americans-want-a-special-prosecutor-for-the-irs/

NOT me, again, sir, NOT me. This is about the Obama admin. so most people DO want a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of the constant lies that are coming out of this guys mouth as well as how much does the President know.

Here we go again.... You are too emotional. Obama is not out to get you.

I'm not and don't need to be emotional. Obama doesn't need to come for me, he has his minions to do that for him. I just want Holder to get fired for over-stepping his bounds and authority as a public servant. Why Obama kept him is a mystery to me.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

What, that for liberals the ONLY thing that matters is that Obama is held in high regard and that his approval rating remains high?

It's astounding that you don't understand the significance of that.

And please, stop saying Americans as if you know and can decide for all Americans.

Approval ratings do that for me.

so most people DO want a special prosecutor to get to the bottom of the constant lies

I think most people want to know about what happened at the IRS. The "constant lies" part is one of the reasons why no one likes you or listens to you.

Obama doesn't need to come for me, he has his minions to do that for him.

Ah, so I guess our disagreement is over exactly who is coming for you.

I just want Holder to get fired for over-stepping his bounds and authority as a public servant. Why Obama kept him is a mystery to me.

You just want Holder to get fired. People don't believe the other stuff that you say.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

It's astounding that you don't understand the significance of that.

I do. It means keep Obama and the liberals in power for as long as you can, regardless of what the people want, if you have to lie cheat, fabricate, extort, the ends justify the needs. Let's throw integrity out the window in order to keep liberals in power. I get it now.

Approval ratings do that for me.

Obviously

I think most people want to know about what happened at the IRS. The "constant lies" part is one of the reasons why no one likes you or listens to you.

That just didn't make ANY sense, you mean to say, the people want to know the truth, but the constant lies that the IRS and Holder (allegedly) is why NO one believes him and Lerner, who pleaded the 5th (but NOT guilty, riiiiiiight) I got it.

Ah, so I guess our disagreement is over exactly who is coming for you.

?...okeeey.

You just want Holder to get fired. People don't believe the other stuff that you say.

Yes, I do, for multiple reasons and it matters not what I say. But the numbers don't lie, try to convince the American people and the rest of the press, including the Liberal press. Time for Holder to go. Actually, overdue!

0 ( +1 / -1 )

if you have to lie cheat, fabricate, extort, the ends justify the needs. Let's throw integrity out the window in order to keep liberals in power. I get it now.

OK.
