When you choose a VP precisely because you expect him to be a toadying boot-licker, but even a week later he is required to repudiate your comments both to stave off charges of treason and to save his soul - well, then you know you've got a problem.

Well, this is what the GOP has got, As Grandfather Putin says, "Gotta dance with the spy that brought ya."

7 ( +11 / -4 )

Let me get this straight, Republicans in Congress spend millions of tax dollars and months and months of effort in an attempt to find malfeasance with Clinton's handling of e-mails while their own Presidential candidate invites a potentially hostile foreign power to commit espionage against U.S. IT systems, promising them they will be rewarded if they then leak that information.

The Republican candidate for President not only has more than a few screws loose, his party continually exhibits the height of hypocrisy and double standards when it comes to Clinton and President Obama.

After day two, Democratic Convention ratings are crushing the Republicans

Gee. I wonder why? Could it be that the GOP’s backwards looking, doom and gloom, "WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE,” approach to doesn’t appear to have much appeal, because its, well dark, and un-American.

While the Democratic forward looking, hopeful, pluralistic and tolerant message strongly resounds with Americans because ain't that America? Positive. The Can Do nation?

Maybee. Or maybe its because all the Republican delegated were old, white and angry and bored, while the floor of the Democratic convention is filled with, well, Americans: young, old, white, black, etc etc etc.

Could it possibly be that Americans like the Democratic party because we represent America?

“This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent,”

doesn't this border on treason?? Imagine what his words and action will compromise is he is actually elected. Be afraid people, be very afraid....

“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Mr. Trump said, staring directly into the cameras during a news conference. “I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.” -- Donald J. Trump

We're about to find out if the old adage "there's no such thing as bad publicity" is true.

I bet its not.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

"On the heels of reports that Russia may have hacked Democratic Party emails, Trump said, “Russia, if you’re listening,” he’d like to see Moscow find the thousands of emails Clinton says she deleted during her years as secretary of state. At about the same time, Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, declared there would be “serious consequences” if Russia interfered in U.S. politics."

Pence will age 20 years in the next few months. Trump might end up trading him in for a younger model before long.

7 ( +11 / -4 )

How do you hack deleted emails on a server which is offline and no longer in existence ? Besides how can 33,000 personal emails be a national security issue if someone releases them?

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

There is absolutely no proof of where the hacked emails originated-all is conjecture!

0 ( +3 / -3 )

“The America I know is full of courage and optimism and ingenuity,”

Exceptions are the negative rightwing reactionary Americans (read their JT posts) who yearn tragically (J Heller) for the authoritarian nationalism that a Put-in-Trump campaign promises. The Russian tsar's shown Trump how obscenely rich dictators can get, and Trump wants that more than anything. That's good news for the white US nationalists who so greatly admire Putin, and who know how white and racist Russian policies have been. With a PutinTrump led world, they could more easily leave the US and be 'back in the USSR, boy'.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

I'm with Lizz! The deleted emails are yoga schedules, lunch dates, and baby planning. And as Hillary said numerous times to the American public, "No marked classified" emails which the FBI did prove as a lie by the way.

Does the DNC believe Russia would find additional classified emails that Hillary wiped clean? Then it would be supporting espionage and show incompetent the FBI was in the investigation.

Like it or not, Hillary should have been on trial. Look at the facts, anyone else would be selecting the best counsel team available at this point.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

What amazes me is Trump's reaction to all of this. If conjecture embroils one in a foreign espionage conspiracy, the best action would be to distance oneself as quickly and completely as possible.Instead, Trump doubles down - on the very day that Obama is slated to speak at the DNC convention with a theme that Trump does not have the personality to be president. Seriously, you couldn't even invent this stuff.

After day two, Democratic Convention ratings are crushing the Republicans

I have NO idea what you libs are talking about or Kool-aid you're drinking, but....

Sorry, but it's to be expected, after every convention rally, both sides get a boost.

Donald Trump comes out of his convention ahead of Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House, topping her 44% to 39% in a four-way matchup including Gary Johnson (9%) and Jill Stein (3%) and by three points in a two-way head-to-head, 48% to 45%.

No, it's just the GOP are not sugarcoating the facts as to what is happening in the world. Dems want to paint a Woodstock picture and live in a fantasy Unicornverse that everything is great and the world has No problems and the problems are just manifested by the country is on serious hallucinogenics and the Dems are the people that are sane and running on a full deck.

Yeah, ok!

Maybee. Or maybe its because all the Republican delegated were old, white and angry and bored, while the floor of the Democratic convention is filled with, well, Americans: young, old, white, black, etc etc etc.

Sorry, but that crap is not working and played out a long time ago. Hmmm. so if ageism, racism, gender fear mongering, if none of these bogus and worn out attacks don't work, what other recourse do Dems have to attack the GOP with?!!! Oh, the horror!

Could it possibly be that Americans like the Democratic party because we represent America?

Judging by the polls and the Candidate that is supposed to be the leader of that party, Nope!

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

There is absolutely no proof of where the hacked emails originated-all is conjecture!

Pence was talking about the DNC Wikileaks while Trump was referring to the Clinton emails (which are no longer hackable and presumably gone forever). Although the FBI did recover thousands of public, work-related emails that she didn't turn in to the State Dept. so there is a good chance that there are still more of those lying around.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Russia, if you’re listening

Of course they are listening, them buddies go way back. I would actually go as far to say that Trump is endangering US security and should be arrested for inciting a criminal act, namely the hacking.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Trump doubles down - on the very day that Obama is slated to speak at the DNC convention with a theme that Trump does not have the personality to be president.

And who is talking about that now ? He got Clinton to admit, finally, her emails are a national security issue. He sets the narrative, the pace, the topics, and the subject matter. The Dems respond by talking about him. So even the DNC convention is about Trump. This was a joke if you watch the video but make no mistake, he is a fierce, fierce fighter. Trump is coming after them with body blow after body blow. It is going to continue right until election day.

On MSNBC they were interviewing a DNC delegate who said that Trump supposedly not seeing the gravity of email breaches by foreign countries proves he shouldn’t be president. That this obviously applies far more to Hillary, who left the door open to Top Secret documents for hackers, was totally lost on the woman. She clearly has no sense of irony.

-5 ( +4 / -9 )

What amazes me is Trump's reaction to all of this. If conjecture embroils one in a foreign espionage conspiracy, the best action would be to distance oneself as quickly and completely as possible.Instead, Trump doubles down - on the very day that Obama is slated to speak at the DNC convention with a theme that Trump does not have the personality to be president. Seriously, you couldn't even invent this stuff.

Look, politics is a dirty business, the Dems will use every dirty trick to win, we saw that with the Wikileaks revelation of how the DNC and DWS systematically did everything they could to stop the advancement of Sanders. Julian Assange has as personal beef with Hillary he said.

https://youtu.be/h0JWmzyQduY

Expect more to come. This is very damaging and from the looks of it, it's going to get worse for Hillary. Having Hillary as president would be a disaster for the country and while I am not a fan of Assange, someone needs to take this woman down.

-12 ( +3 / -15 )

Too farcical to even think about. The Repub candidate openly calling for treason on his own country and his traitor supporters swooning even more. Pity this isn't the good old Reagan days when traitors would be shot in the street

What, by committing cyber-crimes like Mr. "Law and Order Candidate" Trump suggests?

4 ( +8 / -4 )

"Wednesday night’s Democratic lineup was aimed at emphasizing Clinton’s own national security credentials"

Can somebody point to Hillary's achievement as Sec of State? She achieve Next To Nothing during her tenure. In fact she is the chief architect of the South China Sea ongoing disputes which could have being settled quietly without her meddling with deceptive 'rule of law' mantra. In fact she dare not utter this 'rule of law' lies anymore, seeing US is in no position to say that when she is not part of UNCLOS and ignore UNCLOS rulings before.

Her Pivot To Asia is what cause the current disastrous situation there, accelerating China's buildup. She Waked Up A Sleeping Dragon, thanks to her aggressive behavior.

She also misled the Japanese as I have pointed out many times, US will only lead from behind, After Japan take Primary Responsibility for her own defense. Abe try to get US to issue a stronger statement of support but US can't because it is already law when Okinawa was reverted to Japan in the seventies and Senate testimony confirm US can only go so far to defend Japan, Not One Inch More. Hillary even as POTUS, God forbid, do not have power to change US law or she will be impeached pronto.

Zero achievement in the Middle East. In India she put on a show for women's rights but the country still treat women as second class. So her resume as Sec of State is Very Very Thin, Nothing To Show.

Finally she fall asleep while Benghazi burn under her watch and her email lies exposed. Nice job as Sec of State!

2 ( +7 / -5 )

What, by committing cyber-crimes like Mr. "Law and Order Candidate" Trump suggests?

So because libs are trying to clean up their own embarrassing mess of plotting against Sanders and the downfall of DWS is now the fault of Trump? Maybe if Hillary wouldn't have kept an open private server for the rest of the world to peer in maybe, she could have kept that secret under raps. But we all know where they went or do we??

Pity this isn't the good old Reagan days when traitors would be shot in the street

O, good grief! LOL

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

There is absolutely no proof of where the hacked emails originated-all is conjecture!

The DNC leaks could well be the work of a mole.

But the capabilities of countries like Russia, China, Iran, Israel, even North Korea when it comes to hacking and conducting surveillance of unprotected American computer systems are extraordinary. You have to assume that foreign intelligence services, the good ones, have everything on any unclassified network that the government uses, whether it's a private server or a public one. To prevent these sorts of situations is why the government insists that those trusted with its secrets use encrypted devices and compartmentalized facilities when discussing secure information.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Trump is suggesting that the Russians publish the 30000 e-mails Clinton deleted. If the Russians can do this it would prove that Clinton's e-mail server was unsecure and a security risk. This does not mean Trump is encouraging the Russians to hack into current US government networks.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

“The America I know is full of courage and optimism and ingenuity,”

This guy brings it like Miley Cyrus at an MTV Awards show.

The MSM and the White House would have you think otherwise.

Indeed, how DO you?

So, YOUR candidate is advising it be done, by a foreign and not-friendly government.

Hey, you're at the top of the horrids here! You're just an empty-headed, open hypocrite!

1 ( +4 / -3 )

America is no democracy at all. She should have been charged, not new law's/rules passed to let her off.

If you think Obama is for democracy, think again.

Under Obama we seen him come out saying he would protect "whistleblowers" but yet after the CIA tried to frame Iran, Jeffrey Sterling blow the whistle. The CIA had no evidence that Iran was trying to make a nuclear bomb, so they tried to hand them fake nuclear blueprints to go to war with Iran, spreading more terrorism around the world. CIA 100% busted trying to start a war on a lie "just like WMD in Iraq" that they new cost 500k civilians there lives and 5,000 U.S troops lives "but yet" frame them and kill more troops.

At the end of the day the CIA new the Iraq war strategies can be used in Iran, so i guess they new 500k civilians wouldn't die.

Trump comes across as a nut but i think he would be perfect to stop this disaster happing in the world. That includes stopping a nuclear war with Russia.

Not many people know that the west media is hiding all Putin U.N speeches that are indicating we are looking at a nuclear war soon.

Trump is nuts to band Muslims and now has back footed on it, saying more screening is needed...Like it is.

I hope trump wins as he can stop a nuclear war with Russia, work with them to kill terrorist and as he says....Make America great again. Right now America is wrong and they are not stopping terrorist when they can.

-7 ( +5 / -12 )

You can't hack professionally scrubbed emails. 33,000 personal emails says who? Hillary, well she's already lied about them she's not credible.

Since the left linked Russia to Trump and the initial investigation says the hacked emails released have the signature of Russian hackers. Trump replies in a response to tell all your full of it, prove it, and how about those missing 33,000 so called private emails.

If Hillary obeyed the rules this discussion would not exist however Hillary chose her own rules leaving an open door for critique. It's Hillary's fault!

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

George Washington is rolling over in his grave.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Her Pivot To Asia is what cause the current disastrous situation there, accelerating China's buildup.

The main policy outcome of the pivot so far that I can see has been the TPP, a trade-liberalization pact that Clinton has been walking sideways away from for months.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

@scrote Nope!!

Democracy was not done and the FBI passed a law / new rule that let her off the hook.....That's so wrong and she should at least stand down.

If Trump wins he just needs to remember what Putin did to Bush after Bush handed them a new big economy / market.

Work with Russia to kill terrorist and don't ever hand them technology.

Tell Putin if they start to catch up and spend all economy money on weapons they would be cut off again.

It took a guy begging bush to cut them off in 2007. He pointed out that they had already saved up $1 trillion dollars for weapons and Putin was being rude to Bush looking at him as a puppet.

We need better relations and that stops any threat to allies. That Poland missile done is going to start a all out nuclear war in the end. God if they try step in in Ukraine, it will be nuclear war on Ukraine and Poland if they use the missile dome.

Do you people support wars that murder civilians?

Last i seen Obama supported the framing of Iran.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Republicans go on and on about all the top secret info in Hillary's e-mail, but now want that top secret info to be released, as long as a foreign and somewhat unfriendly government does it. It doesn't matter to them if it hurts the country, as long as it gets their candidate to a better position. Make America great again and lock up people who suggest this.

They wanted the mails to be released over 2 years ago. Nothing new about this

Hi Everyone, I have heard the whole speech of Trump today, and I could not believe my ears to hear what he said. This is IT!! He is disqualified to be our President.

Because Liberals don't like it or are afraid?

We are dealing with a mad CHILD. You know what to do in November. Vote Him Out!!

I think we need to vote Hillary out! If a this woman with all the crude that she has on her heels and with the murders of 4 Americans, unsecured emails, supposedly lost servers, making deals with dictators that have dubious and atrocious laws when it comes to Human rights and the FBI just casually drops any recommendations for an indictment. and all the corruption that has followed her over the years. It would be suicidal to allow that woman to run this country, not to mention, she wants to continue the same disastrous policies from Obama and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

@Lizz

TPP is designed to counter China backed Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).

Hillary is doing the one step backward, not supporting TPP in order to win votes and after getting elected, she will embrace TPP with a sweetener like 'enforcement fund to help displaced workers get back their jobs, better job training opportunities etc to calm the voters she deceived'.

She Have To support TPP as this is Obama's signature trade project, Obama will be campaigning for her and expect eventual TPP support, And TPP is part of US geopolitical game to Slow Down China's rise. This will mesh with US hegemony policy, prolonging US presence as a Pacific Power in Asia in China's frontyard For No Good Reason other than to serve the Military Industrial Complex Or Else many of these people will be Out Of Their Jobs and there will be a Severe Recession in US. The base closings after the Cold War is over and the current defense budget sequestration frightens them more than China!

It is like China is a convenient punching bag to serve the MIC game plan for economic reasons as well as the neocons who are not used to playing second fiddle in Asia.

Only one candidate exposed top levels of information open and available for hacking.

Only one candidate would fail the US security backround background check.

I think we know her name!

Comments from Republicans:

Lizz: How do you hack deleted emails on a server which is offline and no longer in existence?

and

kurisupisu: There is absolutely no proof of where the hacked emails originated-all is conjecture!

and

MarkG: The deleted emails are yoga schedules, lunch dates, and baby planning. And as Hillary said numerous times to the American public, "No marked classified" emails which the FBI did prove as a lie by the way.

obliqueweapons: Democracy was not done and the FBI passed a law / new rule that let her off the hook.

I do want to give MarkG credit, tho. He actually made an attempt to explain the situation, making him the only one who actually had the guts to comment on Trump's actions: "Since the left linked Russia to Trump and the initial investigation says the hacked emails released have the signature of Russian hackers. Trump replies in a response to tell all your full of it, prove it, and how about those missing 33,000 so called private emails."

That's been it so far. All of those words and not a single one criticizing their guy for something I know they don't support. What a party they've become.

Out.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

You people clearly have no idea how the internet works. Heres a free short lesson: For an email to go from one computer to another, it has to pass through a lot of computers. In addition, many email servers have mirrors for availability/redundancy.

If you think every trace of an email is gone simply because you clicked "Delete" or turned the server off, you need to kindly step aside... you have no idea what you are talking about.

He is indeed speaking the truth. It's... "refreshing" to read that a US presidential candidate thinks hacking is okay. He's admitted that he condones crime. Liberals and democrats should be ecstatic.

So now that the anger and desperations persists that's your comeback. Look, you hate Trump, we all know and understand that and I don't blame you. You are content with a woman to take the highest office that is a known and certified liar and crook and you would trust her with the kitchen sink, 42% of Americans don't and over 64% of Americans don't trust this woman, especially when it comes to making Jobs and defense. It's old news and No one really cares including the independents, which will call the election anyway. If the reverse were to happen, NOT ONE of you libs would criticize Hillary, NOT ONE, heck, you guys were in total denial about her emails, server and Benghazi and NOW you guys have the nerve to criticize conservatives for not holding Trump's feet to the fire?? Come on now, you guys are seriously loosing your luster.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

Well SuperLib, it's just like the liberals who refuse to see the lie and deceit Hillay played on the public.

As much as I hate to say it, we truely are a divided nation. Conservatives and the progressives will never see eye to eye. What I have noticed is the "Progressives" have used hate much more than the conservatives. I'll remain conservative. I want a sting nation financially, militarily, and ethically. None of the above can liberals deliver.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

"What I have noticed is the "Progressives" have used hate much more than the conservatives."

How about Trump's racially-driven birther movement? How about a large number of conservatives believing Obama is a Muslim? How about a large number of conservatives believing Obama is the anti-Christ? That's right. They think he is the actual spawn of Satan.

I think you'll find conservatives are no lightweights in the hate division.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

He is indeed speaking the truth. It's... "refreshing" to read that a US presidential candidate thinks hacking is okay. He's admitted that he condones crime. Liberals and democrats should be ecstatic.

I know liberals are not good with humor like I always said. He was joking and EVEN if he wasn't, why on Earth would he want Hillary to win? Then he should just hop over to hang out with everyone at the DNC. I would not have said it in the way he did, but that's Trump, he says what he wants and that's why so many people like him. People are wise of this game and they are tired of Hillary and tired of this failed presidency.

@MarkG

Without a doubt.

Back in the time machine again?

How about a large number of conservatives believing Obama is a Muslim? How about a large number of conservatives believing Obama is the anti-Christ? That's right.

Given his actions with many of his policies, you have to wonder.....

They think he is the actual spawn of Satan. I think you'll find conservatives are no lightweights in the hate division.

But Dems take the record when it comes to extreme hat, violence and difference of opinion.

"Your struggling proving your point Jimizo. Why didn't Obama release his birth cirtificate? Why is Obama dressed in Islamic dress in some photos? Yes, both true!"

George W. Bush once gave a speech talking about Ramadan commemorating the revelation to Mohammed when he received the holy Koran. It was pointed out that Christians do not accept the revelation to Mohammed and therefore the Koran cannot be described by a Christian as holy. I said he was probably too ignorant to understand what his speechwriter had written but many here defend him as a smart and informed man.

I can only assume they knew what he was saying. Why wasn't he put under the same scrutiny by the right. I can't think why.....

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Are Trump supporters under a spell or what ? Even a 15 year old would know what to say and what not to say but unfortunately, a supposed presidential candidate has a mouth as big and loose like that of a whale.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

kurisupisuJUL. 28, 2016 - 08:07AM JST There is absolutely no proof of where the hacked emails originated-all is conjecture!

Absolutely. When I heard the Clinton campaign trying to suggest these emails originated in Russia, I was skeptical. I thought the Clinton campaign had finally made the screw-up that would cost them the campaign. I thought they had basically handed the election to Trump. All Trump needed to do was keep his mouth shut and let Hillary stew in a mess of her own making.

But of course, Trump can't keep his mouth shut.

By calling on Russia to hack Clinton, he escalated the conflict far beyond what reasonable Americans think is acceptable. Of course he has a rabid fan-base that will support him on anything, but the swing-vote is what a politician needs to win, and though the undecideds may think Hillary's politicking reeks of corruption, they're far more concerned about a politician calling on a foreign power to interfere in our domestic affairs. Normally I'd expect this kind of incompetent snatching-defeat-from-the-jaws-of-victory to be a Democrat thing, but Trump just can't resist putting in his own completely un-thought-out 2 cents on each and every little topic. And that's why I'm more convinced than ever to vote for Hillary. Not because she's necessarily less corrupt than Trump, but because Trump's ego makes it so easy to play him like a puppet.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Panetta exclaimed the danger of "withdrawal" of American forces from the world and the apparent need for more status quo interventionism; but the 'reportedly' united Democratic convention seemed not to agree. Bernie Sanders' supporters drowned out Panetta's claims that Hillary masterminded Bin Laden's killing with boos and chants of "no more war," and "lies."

AND THEN

As Panetta continued to speak, the lights were dimmed over the sections of Sanders supporters, an apparent effort to silence them.

Anymore proof that the warmongers are running show!

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

I don't think I've ever seen a candidate have that level of control over his voters. Trumps calling for foreign governments to hack US computers, and his supporters stay silent. How the heck did he pull that off?

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

The whole convention is full of inconsistencies in Philadelphia. On one hand Hillary will improve literally everything and the other hand Obama is the best president ever. If he is the best and we have need for so much improvement we are in trouble.

The police bashing is no help. When terrorists strike, who stops them? When catastrophe hits, who's in the front line? When children are lost or missing, besides the immediate family who is on the investigation?

For me, ALL lives matter. Selective is bias. Liberals must be the 'bias' type. Sure glad I'm open minded.

Super, Trump didn't Ask for Russia to hack the server that is long offline, he asked to return Hillary's illegally deleted emails if they have them. Don't you get it yet? It's a slam on your princess. Shallow waters abound!

Day 3. Meanwhile, hordes of "die hard" Sanders supporters have been roaming the streets of Philadelphia calling for revolution these past 72 hrs. Tomorrow day 4, DNC . . . the backstabbers will convene again. The "crooked one" speaks last.

Benedict Arnold would've been very proud of the Democrats of today.

bass: At this point, what difference does it really make?!

See? There it is again. More words, but none to criticize Trump. Isn't this getting kind of weird? And they will respond to my message by....not criticizing Trump heh. It's just the strangest thing. We all know they don't support what Trump said, yet they will stay here and respond to my comment and not say anything about what Trump said.

And it's all of them. Literally all of them. Isn't that creepy?

Obama is imploring voters to elect Hillary Clinton to the White House

He can implore all he wants, but the fact will always remain she received the nomination via a rigged primary by the DNC. That is something registered independent voters like myself will not tolerate.

Yesterday, Mrs. Bill Clinton (sort of) made history. Come November, she will be history. . . .

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

Obama is hilarious. Remember the Fort Hood masacre? A radical muslim US serviceman who cried the infamous war cry - "god is great" as he killed innocent Americans. Obama called this "workplace violence." Really?

This is why I didn't pay him any mind when he spoke today @DNC. He's such a punk.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Hoffer wrote The True Believer in the 1950's. It gives a good overview of mass movements. Trump's been masterful at manipulating the MSM and the alt right media. He's used the media and his marketing skills to piedpiper herds of gun-toting, angry sheeple to follow him blindly.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_True_Believer

Richard Hofstadter's Anti-Intellectualism in American Life was written in the early 1960's. The Put-in-trumps have suspended reason (assuming some might have had it); they just want an authoritarian to lead them. He's never said where, but that doesn't seem to matter.

@Wc626,

True that. He dismissed Fort Hood as "workplace violence". More importantly, he and Clinton's botched foreign policies in the ME (complete withdrawal from Iraq, the red line drawn in the sand in Syria, etc.) sent a message to radical Islamists that it was OK to do whatever they wanted; that neither of them would do anything to stop them.

Now, Clinton is promising a 550% increase of unvetted ME "refugees" into our country. If we allow her to return to the White House, Islamic terrorist attacks now going on across Europe will be a daily occurrence here in U.S. A President Clinton's response to those attacks would be four more years of, "My sympathy goes out to the victims of (fill in the radical Islamist-sanctioned slaughter) and their families", followed by rants about disarming me and my fellow Americans.

Thanks, but no thanks.

@Superlib What I stated was and is still a fact, not a political statement. Wikileaks has the answer but won't divulge it at present. Also, to tie Trump to Russia or hacking is going a couple of steps too far. Trump has no authority (yet) to order anyone to do anything except for his employees. Whatever he extols foreign governments to do has no force by virtue of him having no office-it must be taken as opinion only......

And I'm a Republican (ya think?) ha ha!I don't consider myself to be much of any one thing and am not really happy with labels.

However, I'd love to see a change for the better in the US!

Yeah. This is unthinkable. We should be taking care of Americans first. Not inviting islamic Trojan Horses.

The dems are full of crap. Did you hear them chanting "Black lives matter" and "Hillary, Hillary". Heck my flatscreen's remote control 'mute' button has never seen so much action.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

@Wc,

Yeah, a rather sickening display. But the electorate is not buying into this rigged primary sham (Mr. Trump up by 7 points through Day 2 of the convention.). This DNC hoedown looks more like a four-day televised visit to Ringling Brothers Clown College.

Oh, sure, Mrs. Clinton has locked up the perpetual victim and white guilt vote. But it is rural America -- the ones who the far-left democrats have shunned during the past eight years in favor of monied elitists and special interest groups -- who will turn out in force in November to say via their vote that enough is enough. . . .

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Also, to tie Trump to Russia or hacking is going a couple of steps too far.

The Dems are just pissed cause they've been exposed. Of course they'll blame Trump. Just like terrorism. They blame guns / NRA, anyone & anything but radical Islam.

And I'm a Republican (ya think?) ha ha!I don't consider myself to be much of any one thing and am not really happy with labels.

But sides are being chosen. Come on board for the big win, Go Trump!

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Still they form this kind of human chain around Trump, protecting him from criticism for comments they don't support. There must be a dozen of them, all acting in unison, all selling out for Donald.

How does he get people to do that?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Trump and his ardent supporters are really turning America into the laughing stock of the world. I don't believe they are also suffering from dementia like their demi-god.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Does Trump's promotion of hacking the US only extend to the Russians? Are Mexicans and people from Muslim majority countries also invited to hack away?

I hope there's no discrimination here.

bass4funkJUL. 28, 2016 - 11:57AM JST I know liberals are not good with humor like I always said. He was joking and EVEN if he wasn't, why on Earth would he want Hillary to win?

What on earth are you even talking about? How did you get the idea anyone thought Trump wanted Hillary to win? Don't you think it's pretty obvious from the fact that he's running against her that this is not the case?

I would not have said it in the way he did, but that's Trump, he says what he wants and that's why so many people like him.

I just bet he wouldn't if he didn't think he could get away with it. Where does he say what he wants? At press conferences, on Twitter, at rallies? He never has it thrown back in his face, and if it is he whines like a baby about how mean everyone is to him. In a more hostile environment he wouldn't have the guts.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

It is sad how many people only hear what they want to hear and twist everything else.

The "hacking" in question has already occurred (or has not). Trump is not saying to hack NOW. He is simply saying IF you have these mails why dont you release them so we can all see? That then proves that her server was unsecure, which she denies. Then the USA knows that Russia knows everything in all those mails. Then if there are in fact secret mails released, then guess what? Also proves she was lying when she said there was nothing of interest deleted. Also disqualifies her from being president, once and for all.

What are the Dems worried about? Its only yoga schedules and other personal items right? Wouldnt happen to be anything Secret that was deleted, no? Why is everyone suddenly concerned that there might be secret information in those mails and screaming "treason" for asking Russia to release "secret" info. When did these emails suddenly become "secret" again? there are and were never any SECRET EMAILS on that server, right?

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Nice Blacklabel.

But stating the obvious on here is useless. It's almost as if in order to support Hillary you first must perform a self-lobotomy.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Also proves she was lying when she said there was nothing of interest deleted. Also disqualifies her from being president, once and for all.

Amen to that Blacklable. Makes me want to chant "Lock her up, Lock her up." Obviously the crowds gathered outside the DNC venue in Philadelphia want her DISQUALIFIED too. They're on fire. New movement underway. . . all caused by crooked Democrats and "their" so-called nominee. Thanks again Blacklable.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Yeah, I have given up trying to reason. Its so simple. If its treason, it means that secret emails WERE on the server. You cant recover or hack something from a server that was never there. .

Actually Hillary should want the emails released (IF someone even has them) to prove that she is telling the truth for once that those mails were not secret or not official government correspondence. But the DEM reaction to this whole thing says two things to me:

People think if the mails were hacked and someone releases them its an issue of national security (THERE ARE SECRET MAILS there then! no? )

-and-

Trump is such a boss! the week of the DNC all DEMS are talking about is hacking and email. which reminds all the voters of Hillary's server which is =lied=mishandling of secrets=deleted emails=liar=untrustworthy.

She wasn't found guilty but she sure was not found innocent either. DEMS are helping Trump to remind people of that by even talking about this topic which is a win for Trump. DEMS should have just let it go or even said "Yes, if someone has these please release them to prove us as the honest, trustworthy people we are". Why would Hillary need to hide that she had a yoga class at 4PM on Oct 21, 2015, RIGHT?

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Actually Hillary should want the emails released (IF someone even has them) to prove that she is telling the truth for once that those mails were not secret or not official government correspondence.

Exactly. But she's prob quaking in her boots. With her hard cash from her and bills speeches, she's ready to pay someone off.

Benedict Arnold would be very proud of the Democrats today.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

What on earth are you even talking about? How did you get the idea anyone thought Trump wanted Hillary to win? Don't you think it's pretty obvious from the fact that he's running against her that this is not the case?

Meaning, liberals are claiming that Trump had a hand in releasing those Wikileaks files, if the liberals can prove it that Trump had a hand in all of this, of course that would put Hillary in a better spotlight and make her out to be the victim.

Well, at least he's vocal about it. If it's thrown back in Hillary's face, she will either completely shun you, NEVER will talk about it publicly and as anyone knows, if you have lived long enough and know anything about the history of the Clinton's, it's a fact, you go against them and there are serious repercussions, quietly, but surely. The Clinton's are very vindictive people, always have been. So while they might not cry like a baby in public, behind the scenes, there will be a lot of cursing, threats and intimidation that will take place.

See? There it is again. More words, but none to criticize Trump. Isn't this getting kind of weird?

Just stop! I never seen any of you liberals come to criticize Hillary or Obama for anything.

And they will respond to my message by....not criticizing Trump heh. It's just the strangest thing. We all know they don't support what Trump said, yet they will stay here and respond to my comment and not say anything about what Trump said. And it's all of them. Literally all of them. Isn't that creepy?

And that's your personal opinion. You don't for any of us, just because you don't get an answer doesn't mean that any of us support or denounce what Trump said. Why don't you guys criticize Obama for his gaffes? God knows he has more than a ton of them.

bass4funkJUL. 29, 2016 - 08:46AM JST

He was joking and EVEN if he wasn't, why on Earth would he want Hillary to win?

So it sounds like someone thinks Trump wants Hilary to win. Right, okay... meaning?

Meaning, liberals are claiming that Trump had a hand in releasing those Wikileaks files, if the liberals can prove it that Trump had a hand in all of this, of course that would put Hillary in a better spotlight and make her out to be the victim.

Um. Doesn't that kind of mean that liberals are suggesting Trump's involved because he wants Hilary to lose?

He never has it thrown back in his face, and if it is he whines like a baby about how mean everyone is to him.

Well, at least he's vocal about it.

Yes, behaving like a bratty overgrown baby is clearly far preferable. And he's not vindictive? Remind us of some of the comments he's made recently about his defeated rivals for the Republican nomination, or how he bans media outlets from reporting on his campaign appearances when they're critical of him?
