Too late.

Just protect/evacuate the Embassy

Here we go again...first step to escalation.

Better do something fast. The idiots are absolute evil and need to be stopped ASAP.

Finally, but as usual with this guy, it might be a little too late, but we shall see..

The tale of a clueless community organizer in chief. Obama blames Iran as a state sponsored terrorism, and now seek some sort of cooperation in stopping the ISIS in Iraq? Syria's red line, Putin"s Crimea, packed the tent in Afghanistan..... What is next, seeking the Saudis cooperation in stopping Iran, or Shiite extremists? Thanks to Obama, the troubles around the globe is brewing sooner than he can handle; and the world will pay for it into the future.

There are always critisism about US and war, but deep inside we want them to go in and put a stop to all this evil madness. Who else is going to do it??

So much for no troops in Iraq by our fearless leader Obama huh?

We know how these things go, from 175 to 60000 in one year.

Jeezus what business is it of the U.S. to go back for what, Operation Iraqi Freedom 14?

Better to evacuate it. Trying to protect it might be prove impossible if Baghdad gets overun.

Obama blames Iran as a state sponsored terrorism

Not the first. Personally, I try to distinguish between the government and the people.

and now seek some sort of cooperation in stopping the ISIS in Iraq

Better than fighting each other.

Not an Obama fan or American.

Thank you "W" for getting the USA in a situation where in 950 AD the situation deteriorated. Thank you President Obama for saying that the USA needs to get out of the area. Thank you allies for sitting on your hands and wishing "W" was in charge again. "Deja vu, all over again." Japan can expect oil prices to rise, so it needs to protect the south flank.

People have long complained about America acting as the "world's policeman", and it seems that Obama has addressed these complaints. We are now seeing the results of this "hands off" policy.

The vacuum in power is now being filled by Russia, Iran, China, and muslim extremists. How much better off will the world be with the likes of these in charge?

I have never seen nor heard of a more incompetent administration. Obama makes Carter look like Churchill. I am no fan of Bush, and never agreed with the war in Iraq, but it looks like Obama is more than willing to let all the work and sacrifice become undone, however misguided it may have been. Hillary has twice the balls that Obama has, I would like to hear her unvarnished opinion of the situation.

The players are going to do what they do. America can tamp it down for a bit at a huge price both in dollars and lives, but, as history has shown, it cannot prevent the inevitable. Obama is being prudent in waiting to see where the chips fall before committing - it's quite possible that the ISIS will crumble without American intervention.

It's cool, though, that America and Iran are talking again. This could be a serious silver lining.

Aren't the Chinese or the Russians, with their huge military forces, considering any military help for the Iraqi government?

Have Chinese or Russians bombed, invaded and screwed the Proud civilization of Babylon? Not only in Irag but also Kenyan Islamic extremists are killing Non Muslims! I think US and Iran are morally responsible for helping Irag rather than others.

US trained and armed Saddam during Iran and Irag war. US kicked out Saddam from Kuwait in Gulf war. US finished Saddam in WMD war. US also need to finish ISIS as Saddam.

After all, they did say that they are responsible wannabe world leaders and think that the world needs to devalue the dollar. So they should step up and with their military forces and their version of freedom....Oh, that's right what freedom, these are Communist nations. They don't have an idea what that is.

Leading from behind leads to the crumbling of Obama's great achievement in Iraq. Always one step behind on the international stage Obama only ever takes action when his options have been diminished. The great void Obama is leaving on the world stage is being filled by every tyrant and terrorist group from East Europe to East Asia.

The White House insisted anew the U.S. would not be sending combat troops and thrusting America into a new Iraq war.

We know that Obama doesn't know how to wield military power. Why bother when everyone knows you are not serious? It's like drawing a red line and having the thugs laugh in his face. You are a wimp Obama - give it up already.

what freedom, these are Communist nations.

Russia is not communist. That fell apart a couple of decades ago because of the singlehanded work of Saint Ronnie.
