The Jews or the Iranians??

I think you mean 'The Israelis or the Iranians.'

Netanyahu needs to shut the hell up, or have his meal-ticket taken away.

"Obama has come under fierce criticism from Republican rivals at home and key allies abroad, such as Israel, for pursuing a diplomatic solution to the Iran question."

And if he had pursued any other course the Republicans would be criticizing him anyway. The man has just helped achieve a major goal -- getting Iran to reveal part of its nuke plans and making sure they don't go awry. I guess that means other nations can't continue to question Iran and threaten war all the time, or actually go to war (although that nut-bag in Israel wants to!). Heaven forbid we should have PEACE!

Tehran has a long history of belligerent statements towards the Jewish state

The American state headed by Governor Ben Netanyahu is not Jewish. Yes, it is populated with about 80% ethnical Jews, but it does not comply with the principles of Judaism. It runs contrary to these principles.

Moderator: Please repost without the term "the American state."

Tehran has a long history of belligerent statements towards the Jewish state

The state headed by Governor Ben Netanyahu, which is affiliated to America in many ways, is not Jewish. Yes, it is populated with about 80% ethnical Jews, but it does not comply with the principles of Judaism. It runs contrary to these principles.

Another bad deal by a reckless administration that will be responible for the start of a nuclear war in the Middle East. What did America get out of this political fiasco? After all the years of sanctions, a wasted effort. Obama catering to our mortal enemy Iran and turning his back on Israel.

heckofajob, Barack.

RomeoRII, you speak about recklessness, but in fact opening a war, per the request of Governor Ben Netanyahu, would have been a very reckless deed: Such a war would have deeply scorched the ME countries involved, thereby creating a major disaster, and might have also overflown outside the region. Obama and Kerry were not the only statesmen who saw this: They were joined by William Hague, Laurent Fabius, Guido Westerwelle and Catherine Ashton.

Good first move by the US. This is a great policy initiative. The US got all the other powers to sign on. Well done.

A couple other thoughts: I notice the pacifist Left is silent. No wonder, for years they've been denying Iran had a nuclear program. Well, Iran has, and the Left won't mea culpa. Turds. They've never seen a war they do not hate.

The American Right is all full of conniptions. Of course they are. They've never seen a war they don't love. Turds.

Sigh. There is NO indication that Iran thinks it has given up any of its freedom to do as it wants with its nuclear program. There is no way on earth that the US can know what they are really doing in all that desert. Only Mossad and Israel can really have a chance to find out and they are very worried. and i doubt for no reason. Well since the US and our own paper tiger Obamasan showed how lacking he is in ability to lead to any sort of real curbing of Iran, it will be up to Israel and probably its air force to do the work.

Comparing Kerry to Chamberlain is insane. Iran is NOTHING like what Germany was doing back in the 1940's.

We had a Bush Foreign policy and it stunk, right now with Obama's foreign policy, we have a comparison

Bush: Iraq and Afghanistan = Disasters

Obama: Libya, Syria, and Iran = not disasters

As john Lennon said, why can't we give peace a chance? This is not Chamberlain, this is just common sense
