So, only Gay President, cashes in. Guess its good for him. Nothing to do with the economy though...
nisegaijin
I am sure all the banks he bailed out have plenty of cash for him... so they can sign it off taxes... corruption all over... Romney is no different!
Go Ron Paul! - Only hope for America

"Crossroads GPS plans to open the effort Thursday with an $8 million TV ad that castigates Obama on the economy, by far the biggest issue this election year.
Who wrote this article?
The biggest issue for Conservatives this year, well at least at the moment, is their struggle to shut the door on rights to marriage for gay people.
Why are conservatives always so anti-everything?
Oh, sorry, I forgot - if it's a rich donor, conservatives are prostrated at their feet in worship.

nisegaijin,
I agree. Not voting for Paul is just proof at how mindlessly wrapped up in nonsense Americans really are. The nadir of some serious crap is coming and people will finally realize or be distracted in other ways.

This election is going to be close
Religious blacks, Jews, environmentalists, anti-war, youths and women are turning away from Obama. The gay president thinks he may have secured the homosexual vote (0.8 percent of the U.S. population, btw), but most of those groups named gave him the majority of his votes in '08. Add to this an energized social conservative vote and an independent voting block that will support a candidate who has the skills to fix our economy and put Americans back to work over what we have now, a guy who's never even owned/ran a lemonade stand, means Obama's loss in November will end up being worse than Jimmy Carter's.
Heh, at least Obama can find some comfort in knowing he's locked up the hopium smoking, non-voting foreigner bloc.

"The gay president thinks he may have secured the homosexual vote (0.8 percent of the U.S. population, btw),"
The gay thing really has radical conservatives hot under the collar, and most likely eleswhere. If only they could man up to their yearnings it would leave more time for dealing with the economy.

And they're going to turn to ... Romney? Obama may not be all to everyone - he is certainly far more moderate than any of these special interest groups had hoped - but a vote for the Republican by any of these groups would be like a vote by mice for the cat.

All men and women in USA are born equal. Anyone can become president. But having an extra billion or so helps. Other than that it is a level playing field.

"having an extra billion or so helps"
It didn't help Steve Forbes. He tried and failed twice to get the Republican nomination.
yabits
Forbes was a corporate-type, born to wealth, and completely out of touch with ordinary Americans.
There's no way the Republicans would blunder into running a guy like that for president.
Lizz
energized social conservative vote
Romney and his people are absolutely vicious and will do anything they feel will give them political advantage but the evangelical vote will only be there for him in 2012 by default.

lol, calling Obama a moderate, is like calling Hitler a humanitarian. Its so far out there, and so nonsensical you can't help but laugh.
Madverts
Everybody is on the left from your radical standpoint, molenir. The repubs have drifted too far to the extreme right, hence the unlikely candidates wheeled out to challenge Mr Obama;
Romney is the candidate that wouldn't go away, it was always his job to lose. Serious GOP candidates are saving themselves for 2016, though I realize this isn't helping your karma.
Molenir
Its not the Republicans drifting Madverts, its the left. I haven't really changed or altered my viewpoint for the past 15 years. I still believe in smaller, limited government. The left however has changed significantly over that time. Choose a topic, almost without exception, you will see that where the Dems were 10 years ago, they are now further out. Where once you could find consensus Dems who would work to cut spending, now it seems they're all in for further growing government. Social issues, DoMA would not have passed without Dem support, and a Dem Presidents signature. Environmental policy, while Dems have never liked oil, at least they didn't go out of their way to destroy it, the way Obama has, additionally, coal wasn't being demonized the way it now is. No, its the Democratic party that has changed, and Obama is further left then even most in his party. Hence, calling him a moderate really is like calling hitler a humanitarian. Idiotic.
So when Romney beats Obama like a drum come November, you will feel he failed his job?
Madverts
Molenir,
I stopped reading back when you claimed Obama is a Marxist.

lol, please go back and pull that quote for me. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
