I guess this has two meanings: 1) Barry was facing heat from the Clintons on racial politics. What better way to show that he has transcended above the fray by distancing himself from a radical like Wright. Now the majority white population will see he is not like the Jackson crowd, and they probably should vote for him. 2) More than likely, Wright is of the "old order" and get's his recognition and fame from "blame the white man" crowd. This would help the Clinton's in the fact that that "old order" is solidly in the tank for them, and they have managed to make a lot of money playing along the game with them. Here comes Obama, an upstart that hasn't "paid his dues" in their opinion and would cause people like Wright to loose the mass appeal. They have all ready said that the lady that was mainly responsible for his being at the National Review event on Monday is an admitted Hillary supporter and active campaigner for her.

So either way, McCain will come out the winner.

Obama's plans for "street cred" are coming home to roost.

As a person who will vote for Mr. McCain, I find it quite humorous that "Rev." wright -- barack's friend, spiritual advisor and mentor -- is doing his best to throw him under the bus since wright doesn't know when to shut up.

Perhaps it is wright's way of trying to prove his outdated views of America and racism. So when barack loses the nomination, wright can again get on the soapbox and accuse the loss on Americans being racists and sell some more books.

Actually, it is people like wright who perpetuate much of the racism that still exists in Anerica. His constant harping on problems of the past as if they are current issues and his continuing claims of victimhood by the black community do nothing to heal the wounds of past misdeeds in the U.S.

People like wright do their best to dig open healing wounds by constant reminders of past issues as if they are relevant today. Many people who may have very open minds with regards to race are turned off by the continued hatred this man spreads in his rather lopsided view of the present.

So in the minds of many voters, the association of wright with barack over the years makes people question the character and integrity of barack: A man whose values are not well known by the American public.

Perhaps if wright had just gone away, some of these issues would have gone with him and the public would be more inclined to view barack on the other issues. But since wright is doing his best to keep his 15 minutes of fame going, the results will no doubt just be more damage to barack as convention time grows closer.

Jeremiah Wright is a bigot, a racist, and a devisive seperatist who is using his 15 minutes of fame to destroy the chances of his one-time parishoner to become President.

Jeremiah Wright is convinced that the United States 'government' is somehow responsible for the development of the AIDS virus to control 'people of color.' He believes the ultimate 'evil' in our time is the 'rich white people.' Of course, not too 'evil' that he isn't living a huge house in the middle of a mostly white suburb.

Barack's career and his life are riddled with these examples of extremism: his wife, his pastor, and his associations are an example of 'chickens coming home to roost.'

Obama's done. This whole thing with Rev. Wright -- not to mention some of his comments and his wife's FINALLY being proud to be American (despite the fact that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth) -- has shown Obama to be a charlatan.

Again, the Rev should start understanding what he says are going to be public so if he is concerned, he should change his pattern.
