Reverend Wright and Bill Clinton: Both candidates enjoy their own self-destructive support.

Name one Democrat plan for victory in Iraq.

Both Obama and Clinton have the same plan for Iraq:

Pull Out - ??? - Profit

Yes, there are holes at the moment, but whoever wins won't have any trouble pulling ideas out of the thin of the air, perhaps without really knowing what they're talking about, the same way McCain did with his economy talk.

Correction:

The democrats will be living in the Whitehouse next year.

Well, sort of. We will have a liberal as president next year. Just don't know which of the three it will be yet.

adaydream:

It's a pity that the Rev Wright has decided to enhance his career off the back of Barack.

It's more of a turnabout-is-fair-play. Obama used Wright when it suited his purpose as an up-and-coming Chicago politician. You could say that Barry's chickens are coming home to roost.

The democrats will be living in the Whitehouse next year. Well, sort of. We will have a liberal as president next year. Just don't know which of the three it will be yet.

The troops will be coming home. Won't happen over night, but under the republicans plan there is no end to the war.

Completely off topic, but I'll address it anyway: Name one Democrat plan for victory in Iraq.

Well, the Right certainly has worked itself into a lather.

"So either way, McCain will come out the winner."

McWho?

I guess this has two meanings: 1) Barry was facing heat from the Clintons on racial politics. What better way to show that he has transcended above the fray by distancing himself from a radical like Wright. Now the majority white population will see he is not like the Jackson crowd, and they probably should vote for him. 2) More than likely, Wright is of the "old order" and get's his recognition and fame from "blame the white man" crowd. This would help the Clinton's in the fact that that "old order" is solidly in the tank for them, and they have managed to make a lot of money playing along the game with them. Here comes Obama, an upstart that hasn't "paid his dues" in their opinion and would cause people like Wright to loose the mass appeal. They have all ready said that the lady that was mainly responsible for his being at the National Review event on Monday is an admitted Hillary supporter and active campaigner for her.

So either way, McCain will come out the winner.

Heh.

Not counting the doubtless delteted posts, 11 out of 32 posts were ramen´s.

I, for one, smell the panic in the air.

The terror and fear from some republicans is wonderful.

"They're passing out autographed sickles and hammers to the first 25,000 people who vote democrat."

The republicans here are scared to death.

Aw-w-w-w-w-w!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pastor sounds like a nut. Good think I'm voting for Obama and not for him.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Some of you people have the most screwed up priorities I have ever heard.

You're more disgusted with the political barbs spoken in a political contest, than the thousands of lives we bleed for a stupid war that doesn't protect us, and spending off our future generation to the poor house to boot.

Please, hit yourself over the head, and get your priorities straight.

Anxious to get on the mean sniping between McCain and the Democratic candidate?

Unfortunately, that's what all of our candidates do--snipe on what should be non-issues. Obama is the least offensive of the three major contenders remaining.

"The ( Democrats ) will be living in the ( White House ) next year"

Better hurry! They're passing out autographed sickles and hammers to the first 25,000 people who vote democrat.

"The ( Democrats ) will be living in the ( White House ) next year"

Good Lord, I certainly hope not!

"the ( George Bush ) tax cuts are over"

Not yet. And Good Lord, I hope they're permanent.

"I can't wait for the November vote."

Me too. I'm sick of all this mean sniping between Hillary and Barack.

Since the precedent's been set, wonder how long will it be before barack "Waffles" obama will "distance" himself from the black community?

RR - Heh, this is after all, the campaign of Change.

It's a pity that the Rev Wright has decided to enhance his career off the back of Barack.

But, no matter.

The democrats will be living in the Whitehouse next year. The republicans will stomp and bitch, but the george bush tax cuts are over.

The troops will be coming home. Won't happen over night, but under the republicans plan there is no end to the war.

I can't wait for the November vote.

Will JapanToday pass out virtual crying towels?

"( Barack ) will be nominated..."

Still possible.

"... and win the presidency"

Good Lord, I hope not!

"he's the least odious choice"

How is Hillary or McCain more odious than Obama, Mr. Scotsman in Sapporo?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

In March barack said: "I can no more distance myself from Reverend Wright than I can from the black community."

Heh, the times they are a changin'.

Outraged? If you advertise that you are going to transcend race and you spend 20 years in a race-centered church people are allowed to ask questions.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

The only reason barack is "outraged" now is because it is costing him in the polls.

There does seem to be a certain expedience, doesn't there, RR. Still, he's the least odious choice.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

He is proving himself to be just another radical black candidate like Jesse and Al.

Let's not forget "socialist."

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Too little, way too late. The only reason barack is "outraged" now is because it is costing him in the polls.

He has listened to this guy for 20 years. . . wright has said nothing new that he hasn't been spouting for decades to anyone who would listen.

barack is nothing more than an opportunist and a hypocrit, and his association with -- and refusal to repudiate -- wright earlier simply reiterates his piss poor judgment in all weighty matters.

The only good thing that is coming out of this is everytime barack opens his mouth he loses votes. He is proving himself to be just another radical black candidate like Jesse and Al.

Obama's plans for "street cred" are coming home to roost.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

As a person who will vote for Mr. McCain, I find it quite humorous that "Rev." wright -- barack's friend, spiritual advisor and mentor -- is doing his best to throw him under the bus since wright doesn't know when to shut up.

Perhaps it is wright's way of trying to prove his outdated views of America and racism. So when barack loses the nomination, wright can again get on the soapbox and accuse the loss on Americans being racists and sell some more books.

Actually, it is people like wright who perpetuate much of the racism that still exists in Anerica. His constant harping on problems of the past as if they are current issues and his continuing claims of victimhood by the black community do nothing to heal the wounds of past misdeeds in the U.S.

People like wright do their best to dig open healing wounds by constant reminders of past issues as if they are relevant today. Many people who may have very open minds with regards to race are turned off by the continued hatred this man spreads in his rather lopsided view of the present.

So in the minds of many voters, the association of wright with barack over the years makes people question the character and integrity of barack: A man whose values are not well known by the American public.

Perhaps if wright had just gone away, some of these issues would have gone with him and the public would be more inclined to view barack on the other issues. But since wright is doing his best to keep his 15 minutes of fame going, the results will no doubt just be more damage to barack as convention time grows closer.

RR

Barrack will be nominated and will win the presidency, and no narrow minded hillbilly like reverent bonehead can derail that.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

barack's "outrage" at his preacher of hate is too little and way too late.

Bottom line: barack is a member of the flock. It's like asking Americans to vote for a white guy who's is a member of a church that supports the teachings of the KKK. Not gonna happen.

The Supers know barack will get his ass handed to him in the general election. Had the DNC had properly vetted him at the begininng, barack would have never been a serious candidate for leader of the most powerful nation on Earth.

RomeoRamenII Therein lies the kind of thinking that has kept America so firmly planted in racism. This childish notion from you that a black man is ruining Obama is exactly why we can't move forward as a people. It is that same attitude that spawns the misguided notion that all black people think the same and when there is divergence white people are surprised and we get these lunatic comments. I expected better from you

0 ( +0 / -0 )

What's so interesting about all this is that it's not a white man nor woman, nor a conservative that's imploding barack's presidential campaign. It's a black man and the U.S. liberal media.

Heh, it's always entertaining to watch American liberals feed on each other.

Who's bitter now, Mr Bright Shining Fraud?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

"Obama's done"

Don't stick a fork in him yet. He's leading McCain in the latest polls.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

In listening to barack's speech today, all he talked about is how wright's comments hurt "him" and "his" campaign.

He never talked about the hurt that it has caused America.

"Yes We Can," . . . and will definitely vote for someone else besides barack for president of the United States.

RR

BHO - too naive to lead.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

But, but, but .... barack took wright's side just weeks ago. He said people took him out of context.

Now he saying this isn't the man he knew. He is shocked that wright praised farakhan and so on. Problem is wright has been consistant but barack hasn't been.

Heh, barack's fans are crying in their pillows. They jumped on the wright "taken out of context" defense bandwagon and barack knocked the wheels off of that one. It's gotta suck being a member of the barack National Waffle Association.

Oh the heartbreak of it all.

This is so amusing that you just can't help but laugh out loud... almost gleefully...

Jeremiah Wright is a bigot, a racist, and a devisive seperatist who is using his 15 minutes of fame to destroy the chances of his one-time parishoner to become President.

Jeremiah Wright is convinced that the United States 'government' is somehow responsible for the development of the AIDS virus to control 'people of color.' He believes the ultimate 'evil' in our time is the 'rich white people.' Of course, not too 'evil' that he isn't living a huge house in the middle of a mostly white suburb.

Barack's career and his life are riddled with these examples of extremism: his wife, his pastor, and his associations are an example of 'chickens coming home to roost.'

RR

Obama's done. This whole thing with Rev. Wright -- not to mention some of his comments and his wife's FINALLY being proud to be American (despite the fact that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth) -- has shown Obama to be a charlatan.

I pretty much don't like any of the candidates, and will vote for none of them...

0 ( +0 / -0 )

I don't think Obama should be out there that much on the issue, perhaps just let it slide..

Again, the Rev should start understanding what he says are going to be public so if he is concerned, he should change his pattern.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

For 20 years he listened to this and donated to this, and wow he is "outraged". A late awakening?

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Wright has a book coming out this summer.

PAPER: Enthusiastic Hillary Supporter ORGANIZED Rev. Wright at Press Club... http://www.nydailynews.com/opinions/columnists/louis/index.html

I hope that the good Rev gets a few good interviews and that he fairs well as a new voice for the black community.

He may have single handedly done what it took the Swift Boat Liars collectively to do to John Kerry.
