"We are running short on time"

Yes, the snow is getting deeper as we speaks!

Want to curb greenhouse gasses? Stop these talks because they create a lot of methane.

yes! the breakthrough was the leaking of the e-mails. They do have freedom of information laws in the UK ? Gotta go shovel some snow

"when Obama walked uninvited into a meeting"

I can't believe Obama would do such a rude thing.

I read that Chavez, also in Copenhagen, has said Obama 'smells of sulfur'. I cant believe anyone would talk about Barack in the same terms they did bush.Props to the media though for not highlighting the silliness.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez criticized the conference as undemocratic.

How ironic coming from him.

That's pretty bold of Obama to do, walking uninvited into a meeting, but it's an opportunity couldn't be passed up with all the other countries the US wants to talk with; and Americans tend to be bold people; and if you want something done, do it yourself, I guess.

It's more interesting that it's the poorer countries who are pushing for this, particularly Africa. And of course China promises something nobody can check - hint of ulterior motive or what? I wonder the people who are complaining would prefer no deal at all. Wonder the people who are not complaining that there's no stronger deal would prefer no deal at all. Guess there are some areas the US should not lead the world.

Ah, international geopolitics... gotta love it.

The delegate from the Pacific island nation of Tuvalu — which is threatened by rising seas — told the meeting that his country’s future was not for sale.

It's going to be covered up by the ocean!! Who would buy it??? Rather, your country has NO FUTURE!

With all the private planes and limos, something like 45,000 tons of CO 2 being emitted by those claiming they want to reduce CO 2 emissions.

A contract is only as good as its enforceability. In this case, none.

Bunch of useless posturing by power hungry governments looking for any excuse to raise taxes and control wealth.

I don't believe that Obama walked in "uninvited" for a second. Just more posturing to try and appeal like a "tough" guy back home.

It was a very successful summit again, they achieved putting more fear into those who believe it. If they can't do it, YOU must do it. What are you waiting for, just go outside now and buy an eco-friendly something priced twice as much to save the world.

Incredibly naive, matching U.S. President Obama. AGW is about control, not about the environment. Don't be fooled by these snake-oil salesman...

The oceans are rising so high that there are island nations in the Pacific that see their island nations disappear and suspect they'll be gone in 90 years. Ocean levels are raising along the Atlantic coast. Ice shields from the Artic Circle are disappearing.

Snake-oil salesmen huh? < :-)

Lumumba Di-Aping, chief negotiator for the G77 group of 130 developing countries:

"Obama has eliminated any difference between him and Bush."

Lumumba missed a good chance to keep quiet.
