Please forgive me for intervening in one of your anti-American rants, but if it were not for Yasser Arafat - the Palestinians would have had more or less everything they wanted in the deal organized by Bubba.

The Israel would like to defend its nation with Jerusalem as the capital city of their faith as prophesied in their bible thousand of years ago. Thousand of years ago, there was a prophecy that the people of Israel will be scattered around the world and would lost the land but would have time again to gather as one faith in one land... and now (since 1948) as a nation, it will defend itself, take necessary force, whatever it cost to tell the other group that we mean business when we say we exist and will live in this land. The prophecy or the promise of God to the Jews to have the holy Land was already realized.
